When I arrived at the hotel I was met at my taxi from the hotel porter, Abdeljalil. He kindly took my baggage and walked with me to reception where Youssef politely and professionally greeted me at reception quickly checked me in and welcomed me to the hotel. I made my way to the room where I have found a clean, well ventilated and modern room with plenty of space for a family, though also an awesome covetable desk that I love the design of. There is a beautiful view from the window over the entire city and many staff members on hand, happily able to provide any assistance needed. While only I have interacted with these two particular staff members, I have seen other guests interact with staff in the bar, restaurant and guest services, where staff appear to take pride and happiness in serving guests to an exceptionally high standard. I also ran in to some other guests who frequently stay at this hotel due to the great experiences in the past. While it is only a four star hotel, compared to the five stars in the city, the hotel is in a beautiful location and having stayed at other five star properties, this hotel actually provides a better level of service over many of the more expensive hotels nearby. The room is great to sleep in and work from, with staff members able to assist guests in obtaining services outside of the hotel with established and trusted partners such as local spas or driving services. For the price paid, I would happily stay here again and recommend it to any other guests. A beautiful hotel, very well managed and perfect for the majority of guest visits.

Mehr als 3 Aufenthalte Das haben wir im ibis casa Stadtzentrum verbracht. Das Zimmer ist sauber mit guter Aussicht auf die Medina. Das Essen, wenn besonders schön das Meeresfood-Menü. Das Frühstück war auch. Auf der Rezeption Mr.badr war wirklich hilfreich und lächeln die ganze Zeit. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Stadt in der Nähe des Basars und der Bahnhof.

This hotel is deceptive. The ground floor and lobby is quite nice but the other floors and the rooms are not. The beds were clean and comfortable, the room was decent, and the shower was nice. I did see what looked like a blood stain on the bathroom wall though. The breakfast was good and had eggs, sausage, beans, sweet and other bread and rolls, coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, chicken, slices, and cheese available. It's located right on a tram line and taxis are going by so the time, yet it's a relatively quiet street. That's the good news, now for the bad. Most of the electrical outlets in the room did not work. The rooms let in all the noise from the hallway and you can hear phones ringing etc. the elevator buttons on each floor don't always work to summon the elevator. There is no safe in the room, and I felt like we needed one. The wifi stopped working often and was quite slow at times. The tap water is not drinkable. The orange juice at the buffet breakfast tasted a bit like Tang. Although cheap, I don't know that it was worth the price.

Das Hotelzimmer war wunderschön. Das Deluxe Zimmer wurde gebucht und war sehr zufrieden mit der Größe des Zimmers und Lagerraums. Es gab eine separate voll ausgestattete Dusche/Badezimmer und separate Toilette mit Bidet. Das einzige Problem ist, dass das Wi-Fi sehr schwach ist, wo wir waren (14. Stock), nicht in der Lage, einige Arbeit zu tun, die zu beenden brauchte, aber in den Gemeindebereichen im Lobby-/Ground-Boden hat es erstaunlich funktioniert. Die Reinigungspersonal sprechen nur Französisch, aber sie sind sehr schön und immer wieder auf Lager minibar/Badezimmer, wenn es nötig ist. Lage ist nicht sehr zugänglich, es gibt nur einen Mini-Großhandel (Bim) ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß.

Das Zimmer ist groß, sauber, das Badezimmer ist defekt, das Wasser fließt draußen, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, es gibt Sandfisch, es ist gebraten, aber der Geschmack ist sehr gut, es gibt keinen Pool, das ist ein wenig unvollkommen im Hotel, der Service ist gut, das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Absolut schrecklich Aufenthalt! -Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht und das Zimmer war heiß und reichlich der ganze Aufenthalt. Windows nicht öffnet -Das Zimmer war schmutzig - die Wände und der Boden waren flüchtig und gefüllt. Der Boden wurde nie leer. Es gab sogar Fingernagelklips auf dem Boden - Front Desk Mitarbeiter würde es nicht zulassen, Freunde, die in einer Nähe des Hotels bleiben, ein wenig aufzuhängen und aushängen, bevor sie zum nächsten Ort gehen. Als Ergebnis entschlossen wir uns, im Lobby und Chat zu hängen und dann wurden wir aus der Lobby gejagt! Ich habe Geld für ein schmutziges Zimmer und für das Personal, mich und meine Gäste schlecht zu behandeln. Es war sehr beschämend!

Das Hotel ist nett und sauber, serviert auch gutes Frühstück. Auch ich habe einen Fehler mit einem falschen Datum gemacht, als ich die Buchung machte, aber es wurde von der Manager und Damen in der Rezeption voll verstanden, sie halfen das Datum ohne zusätzliche Gebühr zu korrigieren, wirklich die Flexibilität und freundlichkeit des Personals dieses Hotels, hervorragende Erfahrung

I stayed this hotel as paid by a conference organizer. I did not pay myself and so my review might be biased. This hotel is one of the three hotels owned by the company running Companile Hotel which is located around the corner. The room I stayed is small but clean. There is a small desk and well air conditioned. What was missing to me was some coffee / tea with an electric kettle. But they were not needed this time because I was out of the room for almost all days during my 2-day stay. The shower’s water pressure and temperature could have been better but I guess some people don’t mind. The breakfast was decent and I wouldn’t mind staying again if it’s a day or two.

I stayed at the Melliber Hotel for 5 nights in June 2023. I was a female travelling alone for an architectural research trip. I felt nervous because people said I must be mad travelling alone in Casablanca. For this reason, I had purchased door locks for my hotel door etc. I never used the lock once because the hotel felt safe and welcoming. It was clean. The breakfast was yummy - it varied slightly each day, serving a mix of cold salad of olives, salads, lovely fresh bread and you can purchase omelettes as a extra. The breakfast time was between 6.30-10.30am. I advise getting there around 9am. The hotel is in close vicinity to the mosque and therefore does not serve alcohol. I packed a few mini bottles of wine in my suitcase, to enjoy on my balcony. Although I did feel guilty drinking wine so close to the mosque. The double glazing is effective and the prayer calling doesn’t wake you up, although personally, the sound of the calling is comforting. You should note that the cafes and restaurants near the hotel, don’t serve alcohol. Once you travel past 1k, it seems to be served. I recommend walking down to the Central Market for a delicious fish lunch if you enjoy a glass of wine with your food. Being a city, the traffic is noisy and the drivers enjoy beeping their horns, so you will find that an evening on the balcony is not peaceful. However, it is much quieter than the Movenpick - which I visited one day. I sat on the 16th floor for a drink and a rest, and the sound of the noisy horns seems to travel upwards - it was deafening! On the last day, I had a problem charging my battery pack and the lovely Melliber staff went to the trouble of purchasing a power adaptor to make it work. It still didn’t work in the end, but I could tell that the staff really cared and wanted to fix the problem. You should know that UK phone power banks don’t tend to charge on Moroccan power). I had a problem with the return airport driver, booked through Expedia. The Melliber team made the necessary calls for me to ensure I had a return driver. I definitely don’t recommend Sahara Tours drivers - see my separate review for this. Finally, the hotel kindly upgraded me to suite with a balcony with the view of the mosque, which I requested by email. If there is any room for improvement, it would be that the Melliber website does’t work for me in the UK - I was directed to a page with a security warning and therefore I had to book through Expedia. It would be great if the hotel could provide a WhatApp number for taking bookings because my emails kept going into their spam before arriving which was stressful. Plus I purchased a data only ESIM for Morocco, and WhatsApp works well on this. All in all, I score this hotel a 5 for the reasons above. Thank you. I will book for 7 nights next year, assuming they can contact me on WhatsApp.
