Stayed 2 nights. When we arrived there was no remote in the room, went down to reception and got a remote 10 minutes later. First morning breakfast was short staff, he did explain this. Cooked breakfast you have to order not help yourself which is disappointing. Second day lady said we couldn't have 7.30 breakfast as there was a big group booking and said is 7.15 ok. We said yes as it needed to be early as l was running the Cardiff half. Arrived at 7.15 to the restaurant to be told we didn't have a booking. Was told in not a very good manner to go to reception as she couldn't do anything.Went to reception where the lady who booked our breakfast for 7.:15 was and another member of staff was. She said she booked it in for 7.15 and then total ignored us and at no point said sorry. They left us standing there for 5 minutes after we explained the situation doing other paperwork. I had to then say what's happening then. At no point did anyone say sorry the only option they gave was a refund on the breakfast. I said l needed to have a breakfast as l was running the Cardiff half he took us back to the restaurant. The lady said we could take some food back to our room and l told her we was having a cooked breakfast back our room and she agreed but you could tell she didn't want to. At no point was this offered which would of made the situation better. Walking back to the room we saw 2 other couple's who had the same problem. After breakfast l did speak to the manager who came in at 7.30. Again no sorry just l will refund your breakfast and here is a card to complain. We e-mailed it took more the 15 days to reply which is the time frame they say. It took over 3 weeks. E-mail was a waste of time as the staff lied and said they told us to come down at 7.00 because of the big booking and we arrived at 7.15 when it was fully booked.Awful customer services at this hotel will not be returning again.

Ich blieb hier mit meinem Sohn, meinem Freund und ihrer Tochter und wir hatten einen so angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Caerphilly Suite war unspottbar und jedes Schlafzimmer war gemütlich und geräumig. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, wie das Sofabett funktioniert, aber es ist uns egal, wir waren froh, einfach die Betten zu benutzen, die so komfortabel sind! Die Suite war mit einem Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Platten, Schneidschrank, Schnecken, Brillen, einer Auswahl an Teen und Snacks und einer komplimentären frischen Milch im Kühlschrank ausgestattet! Das Badezimmer war mit schönen sauberen Handtüchern, Toiletten zu benutzen und trotzdem im Zentrum von Cardiff, nicht ein einziger Lärm störte uns von außen die ganze Nacht - wir schliefen alle sehr gesund. Auch die Zimmertemperatur schien perfekt geplant - keiner von uns war zu heiß oder zu kalt!! Oh und letztens, aber nicht zuletzt, das WLAN funktioniert brillant! Steve war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem, weil wir einige Misskommunikation mit unserer Buchung hatten. Ich würde nicht zögern, Inn Cardiff zu empfehlen und ich werde hier sicherlich wieder bleiben. Es ist die perfekte Lage - ein Steinwurf von Bute und dem Zentrum. Danke für einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt!

The room was pleasant enough, with a comfortable bed and TV with Netflix etc. The shower however had a broken shower head, which was easily fixed so wasn't too much of a bother. We however did have a quarter filled bottle of shower gel in our shower. There is also not much storage, if staying for more than a few nights. Our room was also not cleaned daily, as advertised. No one ever cleaned our room while we were out. We were fortunate enough to not encounter any staff until the morning we were meant to be leaving. No staff greet you as you come in, but that didn't bother us much in terms of self check in. But might not be suitable to guests with special needs. The worst of it had to be the 'Guest Relations Coordinator' Luke H. We emailed after being horribly awoke by a blaring alarm at 7am - when check out wasn't until 10am. We see this is a staff error and/or a misguided attempt at awaking guests 3 hours before check out. My disabled girlfriend was visibly distressed by this event, so wrote an email saying we would have to check out later has she would have to calm down from this experience, as she was very overwhelmed. Then instead of simply emailing a response, to us being upset at our rude awakening. Luke H, decided the most intelligent course of action would be to pound on our door half an hour later - only waking us further. He was beyond aggressive, agitated and confrontational in this interaction and I can honestly say I was in fear for our safety with his erratic and unpredictable behaviour during our conversation. I simply agreed with was he said, to try and stop his emotions spiral further out of control, in between his unhinged ramblings, stomping and pounding. After that situation was defused, we made sure our door was looked, in fear of his return. I would suggest to the hotel that Luke H, be place on some kind of company funded anger management course/support group to help him control these outbursts and for the general safety of guests and those who work with him. All the best. I would say that we would comeback to the hotel, as otherwise it was a positive experience, but the fear of seeing this man again will forever stop that from being possible. Luke H. is a truly terrifying individual and I would advise everyone who stays here to be wary of him.

Just returned from a 3 night stay, was in Cardiff for a family wedding. Have to say the staff were friendly, informative and very accommodating. Wedding was on Friday and the maltsters arms very kindly allowed us to have dinner with them on Saturday night, there was 18 of us!!! Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff for the most amazing food, from starters to desserts and delicious drinks and cocktails 5 stars. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. The manager sorry can’t remember your name, was friendly and helpful. Lastly to Ben for his hospitality and professionalism in helping to book us all in on Saturday night, it was a wonderful ending to all of our trip to beautiful Cardiff. Hier ist eine nette Gegend für den Besuch von Cardiff. Wir genossen einen Nachtaufenthalt in einem komfortablen, unstümlich sauberen Zimmer, gefolgt von einem frisch kochen leckeren vollen Welsh Frühstück. Die Besitzer und ihr Team waren freundlich und hilfreich. Ideal gelegen in einem 10/15 Minuten zu Fuß zur Stadt durch Sophia Gardens noch weit genug, um auf einer vernünftig ruhigen Hauptstraße zu sein. Viele Nicht-Stadt-Zentrum-Pubs in der Nähe. Perfekte Ort für den Kricketplatz. Wir werden zurückkehren.
