This is a great Selina location. I stayed 3 weeks here. The staff is friendly and always trying to serve their guests as well as possible. This is a high-end hostel so it can get noisy but nothing exceptional. If you are looking for a super quiet place, don't reserve here. People come to their rooms at all hours of the night, and some aren't the most respectful of others' sleep. There are concerts in the restaurant once in a while, which is great if you love music (not so much if you want peace and quiet). Otherwise the place is new, super clean, the beds are great, the food at the restaurant is fresh and delicious. The location is very central too. The cowork space is small but you can work from the restaurant. The only negative is the internet. Like all over Salta, isn't the most stable of networks but they are working on getting a different provider.

Ich beginne mit der ausgezeichneten Aufmerksamkeit der Empfangskräfte. Alle waren aufmerksam, Flor war derjenige, mit dem ich am meisten Kontakt hatte und seine Aufmerksamkeit war immer brillant. Alle gut vorbereitet, mit Hilfe von Ausflügen, Liniengruppen, Schnecken oder was immer q benötigt. Das macht q meine Skóre 4 und nicht 3. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, 1⁄2 Quadrat von Balcarce, wo es viele Felsen und Orte zum Essen oder zu trinken gibt, nur wenige Quadrat vom Bahnhof, 5 Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und 5 vom Zentrum Platz. Es hat eine begrenzte Parkplätze, mehrere Parkplätze waren an der Tür ohne Probleme. Unser Zimmer hatte zumindest keinen Kühlschrank, aber sie bewahren Sie, wenn Sie im Kühlschrank des Hotels benötigen (wir bewahren Getränke). Das Zimmer verfügt über Klimaanlage, TV und Kabel. Es ist ein ziemlich einfaches, luxuriöses Hotel. Das Bett ist für mich sehr weich, Sahne und Handtücher, die schon wechseln können. Dan Shampoo und Seife beim Zimmer machen, obwohl man, wenn man vergessen hat, die Leute bitten, die Rezeption, die alle sehr nett sind. Das Frühstück ist gut, Kaffee, warmes Wasser, Milch, Teesorte, synthetisches Saft, Wasser, Joghurt, Brot, Rechnungen, verschiedene Brot, Obst. Es gibt keinen untablen Käse, keine Maschinen oder andere Fasern. Auch keine Eier. Wenn Sie am Tisch sitzen, bringen sie Ihnen Butter und Süßigkeiten. Das Badezimmer war klein und der Extraktor konnte es nicht ventilieren. Die Abwasserentsorgung oben ging durch unsere Toilette, die Kanüle, durch die die Abwasserentsorgung heruntergeladen wird, ist sichtbar und wird immer gehört, wenn sie in Betrieb ist. Die Toilette ist nicht schlecht, aber es fehlt eine gute, tiefe Reinigung, da die Pille Pilze hatte und es wurde bemerkt, dass sie Silikon über sie gelegt hatten. Die Leute im oberen Zimmer machten viel Lärm und jede Nacht und jeden Morgen hörten man, dass Dinge laufen. Das weiß ich nicht, ob man es lösen kann. Ich würde für die Wände des Zimmers klarere Farben wählen, denn wenn sie klar sind, sind sie ein Meter von der Etage mit dunkelbraun gemalt, was das Zimmer sehr undurchsichtig macht. Ich würde zurück zur Aufmerksamkeit, aber ich würde ein anderes Zimmer verlangen.

I read so much good reviews of this hotel hence I book it before and after my hiking trip. This is just the ”before episode” stay. We've come a long way. From Singapore to Bangkok to Sao Paulo now here in Salta. Stayed in many hotels and not impressed with the service staff on the front desk here. I find them rather condescending because I couldn't understand Spanish. They serve with a slight smile. When I ask them to clean up the room just before I left lunch, lady doesn't even try. Came back at 4pm, room was not made despite the tag was outside room. Have to call them and they said ”they couldn't understand me” so they'll send cleaner up now. After half hour, nothing happen. So I went down to explain to the front desk. Finally a lady seems to be willing to help said she'll send cleaner up. My husband went down to get some hot water in the flask as this place doesn't provide electric flask in room. The 3rd lift on the right was working when he came up from the restaurant. Then he was trapped in the lift, it just keep ****ing slightly up and down but not opened to any floor. Husband has to shout for help as the button to call leads to nothing. Someone seems to hear him from outside but spoke to him in Spanish. After several minutes, the lift finally open but it was mid way to a floor, he has to jumped into the landing. 2 service crew saw him, no apologies and simply shrug it off. We are fit people, i wonder what'll happen if the people trapped are people who can't jump. After few minutes we went out to town, and suddenly the 3rd lift on the right is ”close”. Room is basic, old and tired like a Nepal Hyatt hotel. Air con is rather noisy. Bathroom is spacious. Toiletries has no shower gel just shampoo and conditioner. View is fantastic at room 1101. Gym is a dismal which only opens at 7am weekdays and 9am on weekends. Pool is small and rather dirty with all the black marks on the wall. Breakfast is basic. Scramble eggs only with lots of sugary cookies, muffin and tarts. You can order Omelette and cappuccino but has to pay which is fine as they don't charge a lot. Breakfast staff + cleaning lady are all very nice and helpful. They're the more friendly and happier staff in this hotel. I've to be back here again on 21st Apr for another few nights. So let's see.

Das Design Suites Salta ist ein gutes Stadthotel (gegenüber vom Hotel Alejandrio) beim Plaza Belgrano. Von hier sind es nur wenige Schritte zum Hauptplatz Plaza 9 de Julio. Dort befinden sich auch die vielen Restaurants, Bars und Shopping Läden. Der Eingangsbereich ist etwas kühl. Doch das Personal am Empfang freundlich (auch Englisch sprechend). Das Zimmer Nr. 606 war ein Eckzimmer mit Blick auf den Park und der Hauptstrasse. Die Fenster sind nicht so schalldicht, man hört den Verkehr recht gut. Die Klimaanlage etwas laut. Das Auto muss gegen Gebühr extern geparkt werden. Das Frühstück ist standard. Das Restaurant hatte bei unserem Aufenthalt von Montag bis Mittwoch geschlossen. Es hat aber genügend Restaurants in der Nähe für ein Abendessen. Für 2-3 Nächte kann ich das Hotel aber gerne weiterempfehlen.
