I assign a relatively low rating for the overall experience due to two factors: 1. A very poor breakfast and 2. A front desk experience that was less than satisfactory, mainly because two out of three of the staff were young and inexperienced—and most of the issues I experienced were due to a single, young lady, who would benefit from additional customer training. On 1, the quality of items was unsatisfactory—the orange juice was not a juice at all but some sugary, orange flavored drink; the cut fruit was mushy pieces of melon and orange, and kiwis (on one day). The scrambled egg was tough. The yogurt was full of sweeteners and artificial flavors. The cake and danishes were stale. On 2, I asked for a receipt for the hotel bill, which I had paid in cash and was told that I could have an email copy later but would have to wait to get a printed receipt at checkout as the system was difficult to work with. In order to ensure that I had a receipt for a cash payment I agreed to wait. With time running out for an international flight to catch, I waited patiently for some time (close to ten minutes) as the desk lady took the time to serve other customers—asking about tours and the like. Finally, I asked about the receipt again and was given a rude answer. I asked for the manager and was told that none was available, and I would just have to wait if I needed a hard copy of my receipt. Eventually, a receipt was printed for me but it was just an invoice and I had to then ask for another iteration showing a cash payment.

Ich war nur eine Nacht in einem Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, ich kann die meisten Orte zu Fuß erreichen. Das Bett ist bequem, das Zimmer ist groß, schön und sauber, die Rezeptionistin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, das WLAN ist auch stark. Es gibt jedoch viel Lärm von den Hotelgästen und bei all dem Geruch von Zigaretten, der mir das Einschlafen erschwert, aber das ist nicht die Schuld des Hotels, ich hoffe, die Reisenden können beträchtlicher sein. Ich hatte keine Gelegenheit, das Frühstück zu probieren, da mein Flug am frühen Morgen ist.

Das schlimmste Erlebnis meines Lebens. Dieses Hotel hat mich betrogen. Ich bezahlte 50 Prozent voraus und als ich ankam und weil ich Probleme mit meinen Karten hatte, wurde ich nicht ins Zimmer gelassen. Ich bin um drei Uhr ins Zimmer gekommen, als ich den Überschuss bezahlt habe und weil ich im Rezeption gefroren war. Als ich ins Zimmer kam, war es schrecklich, die Luft, die Wasserentladung funktionierte nicht. Aufgrund meiner Unruhe und Beschwerden hat der Empfänger festgestellt, dass er eine Angstkrise hatte. Bitte verletzen Sie die Menschen nicht. Der Sektor ist nicht gesund, es ist nahezu unabhängig, ein gefährliches Gebiet von guten Luften. Am nächsten Morgen habe ich ein anderes Hotel gesucht und die Zahlung für sechs Nächte, die ich in diesem Hotel gezahlt habe, verloren, weil weder die Buchung noch das Hotel antworteten. Dann erfuhr ich, dass ich nach Gesetz das Recht hatte, die erste Nacht zu verbringen und mehr, wenn ich bereits 50 Prozent der Unterkunft gezahlt hatte.

Schönes altes, kunstvoll gestaltetes Haus, freundliches Personal. Unser Zimmer war groß und hell, aber nicht üblich. Das Haus hat seine besten Tage schon lange hinter sich. Mangelhafte Instandhaltung überall - das Bad eine Katastrophe, Stockflecken, Handtücher gleichen eher Putzlappen, Bettwäsche fleckig…Frühstück haben wir uns schließlich größtenteils selbst organisiert incl. Besteck/Teller. Müll regelmäßig vor der Tür. WLAN sehr langsam. Das wasssergefüllte Becken auf der Dachbaustelle erinnern nur vage an einen Pool. Die ehemalige Anmut des Hauses kann man in der Bibliothek noch nachspüren. Der Fotograf hat hier ganze Arbeit geleistet (Siehe Fotostrecke Bokking.com)!
