Zunächst ist die Kulisse dieser Bucht mit den Inseln am Horizont einfach wunderschön. Die Standard-Zimmer sind sauber aber etwas nüchtern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider auf Grund der relativ schmalen Balkonfenster relativ dunkel. Darüber hinaus gibt es aus keinem Stockwerk der Standard-Zimmer Meerblick. Dieser wird durch dichten Wald versperrt. Meerblick gibt es nur vom obersten (5. Stock) des Gebäudes (Kana), in dem die Superior-Zimmer untergebracht sind oder aus einem Teil der Familienapartments sowie den Villen direkt am Meer. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und bemüht. Im September waren sehr viele junge Familien mit Klein- und Kleistkindern im Resort. Dadurch geht es in den Gemeinschaftsbereichen und insbesondere am Haupt(Sand-)Strand relativ laut zu. Man findet jedoch auf Grund der Weitläufigkeit des Resorts immer einen ruhigen Platz und zu dieser Reisezeit auch immer freie Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Die ab 06.45 Uhr beinahe allmorgendliche Laubbläserei geht jedoch gar nicht! Warum das nicht tagsüber durchgeführt wird und die Gäste zu dieser frühen Stunde aus dem Schlaf gerissen werden müssen bleibt ein Geheimnis der Hotelleitung. Die Gesamtanlage könnte insgesamt auch gepflegter sein und viele Details entsprechen einfach nicht dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotelresorts. Es gibt auch Bade-/Strandtücher sowie Bademantel nur gegen zusätzliche Gebühr. Kaffe-/Heißwasserkocher sind auf den Zimmern überhaupt nicht verfügbar. Dazu gehört insbesondere auch die Verpflegung! Leider haben wir die entsprechenden Bewertungen, die bereits vor dem Essen gewarnt haben nicht ernst genommen. Aus eigener Erfahrung können wir nun bestätigen, dass das Essen alles andere als Freude macht und das gehört nun mal bei einer Halbpensionbuchung zum Gesamt-Urlaubsfeeling dazu. Das Frühstück war schon nicht gut, aber das Abendessen war einfach nur schlecht. Wir haben niemals zuvor zähers Fleisch und Fisch, ungenießbarere Suppen und Soßen, verkochtere Beilagen, Fabrik-Nachspeisen, die sich nur in der Farbe unterscheiden, etc. in einem Hotel erlebt. Aber das passt zur lieblosesten Präsentation der Speisen die wir jemals in einem 4-Sternehotel erlebt haben. In den meisten deutschen Firmenkantinen dürfte diese besser ausfallen. Wie teilweise hier geschrieben werden konnte, dass das Essen gut sei, ist in keinster Weise nachvollziehbar. Unser Fazit lautet, dass man dieses Resort auf Grund der traumhaften Location durchaus buchen kann, wenn man ein wirklich sehr günstiges Angebot bekommt. Dann aber auf jeden Fall ohne Verpflegung. Für das Geld kann man in den 2 Restaurants im Resort oder im Ort Biograd na moru (Fahrzeug vorausgesetzt) deutlich besser essen.
