Wir haben im Regina vier Tage auf einer einmonatigen Tour mit dem Auto durch Frankreich verbracht. Das Hotel liegt fußläufig zur Stadt Biarritz mit dem schnell erreichbare Plage du Miramar (schöner breiter Strand - aber an der Promenade keine Bars oder Cafés) und ebenso fußläufig zu den sehr weitläufigen Stränden von Anglet (nach Norden), die auch sehr schön und breit sind aber eine viel schönere Atmosphäre hinsichtlich Bars, Cafés und Restaurants aufweisen als Biarritz. Man kann dort etwa 6 km am Strand oder auf dem sehr guten Weg am Strand laufen. Das Hotel ist ein imposanter Bau aus der Belle Époque, insbesondere mit der riesigen Hotelhalle mit Glasdach. An der Fassade nagt der Atlantik. Der Pool ist schön aber wie die Restaurantterrasse an der Straße gelegen und insofern weniger einladend - aber es gibt ja die Strände wie oben beschrieben. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und geräumig. Die Betten sind bequem und ausreichend breit. Der Zimmerservice ist hervorragend. Der Check-In und Out ist sehr gut und professionell. Der Concierge ist erstklassig und hilft beim Gepäck. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes - der Service dort ist gut. Insgesamt zu empfehlen

Es sind neue Wohnungen, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Sofabett ist neu und es ist nicht teuer zu fahren. Das Zimmer ist sehr einfach, aber gut, die Terrasse ist sehr groß und komfortabel. Sie hinterlassen Haustiere für mich ein plus. Es gibt Platz zum kostenlosen Parken im Bereich, obwohl im Sommer auf der Spitze sein wird. Der Spa gab uns keine Zeit, es zu nutzen, eine Schande. Es dauert etwa 20 Minuten, um zu Fuß zu gehen, aber der Bus 38 kommt. Wir waren froh. Eins zu verbessern, Nachts gibt es wenig Licht beim Aufstieg zum Eingang Sonnenlicht oder so etwas würde dankbar sein. Der richtige und angenehme Empfangskind.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht, wie Einige meiner Reisegenossen auch, doch ich bekam ein riesiges Familienzimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten, das regulär 509,- € pro Nacht kostet ohne Frühstück. Die Aussicht ging direkt aufs Meer. Die Ausstattung war chic und hochmodern. Auf der Dachterrasse befand sich der beheitzte Pool und man hatte einen Blick über die ganze Stadt und das Meer bis zur Villa Belza und den Leuchtturm. Das Restaurant war nur zu den Essenszeiten über den Aufzug Ebene M erreichbar und die Speisen waren von höchster Qualität. Alles in allem nicht zu übertreffen! Wir hatten Glück und kamen zum Jazzfestival an. So wurden wir sogar von einer 4-Köpfigen Combo begrüßt. Schön dass wir hier 3 Nächte bleiben konnten.

We arrived Hotel Le Biarritz in the middle of the night, desperate to get a room for the night for 2 adults and 3 kids, due to our originally booked apartment hotel next door gave us cardkeys that were not activated upon arrival. The reception was closed and the telephone number in case of ”emergency” was turned off after midnight. We were warmly welcomed by a very nice man, unfortunately I do not remember his name. We got 2 rooms with a very good discount and the 3rd room for free. The children were hungry, so we asked if we could buy some snacks. He offered us pancakes. He went to the kitchen and came out with a trey full of pancakes, yoghurts, and 3 different sorts of cakes and water. He also asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, but we were not sure we would make it in time, so he told us we can have the breakfast for free. We also had access to the pool the day after. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try it. Our rooms were small, but nice and clean. (I see from the pictures on their website that they have bigger rooms with balcony). In the morning we got breakfast while the kids were still sleeping. We then got a little basket we could bring to the room with full of croissants for the kids. If it wasn't for the already paid apartment hotel, we would have stayed in hotel Le Biarritz for the rest of our stay in Biarritz. We have never ever experienced such a nice welcoming and service in any other hotel we have stayed at before and strongly recommend this hotel for the service and location. It is located near the beach, 5 min walk. 10 min walk to the grocery store and other nice restaurant. The bus stop is also located right outside the hotel. You can also walk all the way to the city on a sidewalk right by the beach. We would definitively one back to hotel Le Biarritz.

Was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Edouard VII in schöner Biarritz, Frankreich. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und in Spazierweite von allen Restaurants, Stränden und der alten Stadt. Leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben. Ein klassisches historisches, renoviertes Haus mit großen Bereichen für ein Glas, Tee & Kaffee. So passiert es, dass wir einen iPad im Zimmer verlassen. Nachdem wir verlassen wir kontaktierten das Hotel & Coline war so nett, um den iPad zu unserem Haus in New York zu übermitteln. Sie hat wirklich die zusätzlichen Meilen und Anstrengungen gegangen, um das zu tun. Sie sind so responsiv mit hervorragender Service & würden einen Aufenthalt dort empfehlen. Wir sind sicher, in naher Zukunft zurückzukehren.
