Great hotel expirience, great location, service and I recommend it to everyone staying in Barcelona. The room was clean, the inside pool was great and so was the view from the terrace. Metro and train station is practicaly across the hotel so no problme getting to the every location and airport also.

Sehr sauber, Fantastisch Personal. Große Aussichten vom Dachpool. Erstaunliches Frühstück. Ein kurzer Spaziergang und Sie waren auf der Metro, Mit einem Roving Ticket ist überall in wenigen Minuten. So viel zu sehen und in dieser fantastischen Stadt zu tun.

Very cool and funky hotel in a great area. Location: center city. Very convenient to many of the sites, metro, shopping (high end), hop on/ hop off bus, nice restaurants, etc Hotel overall: just COOL with a very laid back, fun vibe. Daily free yoga classes. Free walking tour. Amazing breakfast. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. No language issues. Decor is fabulous and eclectic. Excellent use of old and new. Elevators from the last century. Circular staircases surround the elevators. Yoga studio with colorful, comfortable pillows. Tile floors. Lots of shared/common areas including library, study, terrace (great sitting area for cards and a glass of wine), communal kitchen with fridges, micro, plates, glasses, flatware... The room: we got a double with ensuite bath. The room was TINY and dark. Had a bed and an open ”warerobe” with a rod and couple of shelves and that was it. One window with drapes looking out over a small, dark inner courtyard type square. Not even bedside tables. The bath was tiny and the shower floor was ceramic and treacherous when wet. No grab bars, so be had to be very careful. The room was quite off putting at first, but once you ”let it go”, it sort of fit with the experience. It made us socialize more and enjoy the common areas. Met a couple of interesting people... No TV -- anywhere, including common areas. At first it was strange, but we ended up enjoying the break from the noise -- it fits with the Casa vibe. Price/rate: very reasonable, @$100us per night plus tax.

I loved staying here. The common space and rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfy with curtains and lights, outlets and lockers that all work great. Staff was helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the common space. It was great to work and stretch in but also possible to have a nice chat with someone if you’re feeling social. It definitely has a more mature atmosphere so if you’re looking for a place to party and meet other young travelers this is probably not for you. I really appreciated this element and would definitely stay here again. Only down sides are the shower water smells a bit like sulfur and some of the sinks don’t drain well. Though for the very affordable price I’d say it would be tough to find something nicer.

Sauber, bequeme Betten, Zimmergröße angenehm. Nicht so optimal, dass die Toilette keine vernünftige Tür hat. Wenn man nicht alleine reist nicht so toll. Schöne große Dusche mit Regenduschfunktion. Die Armatouren gehören mal gepflegt oder erneuert, vor allem für die Kategorie an Hotel und den doch nicht unbedingt günstigen Preis. Wir haben uns vor allem wegen der Lage und der Dachterrasse dafür entschieden. Diese war aus mehreren Gründen eher enttäuschend. Sie ist öffentlich zugänglich und aufgeteilt und Bereich Hotelgäste und Gäste von außen. Das ist auch zum liegen am Pool nicht so angenehm dass Gäste von außen kommen. Ich hatte es mir schöner vorgestellt. Die Drinks überteuert, Bier im Plastikbecher. Mein moscow mule schmeckte gar nicht nach Ginger Beer eigentlich nur nach Alkohol, ich bat darum ginger beer nachzufüllen. Das wurde gemacht schmeckte jedoch dann immer noch nicht und das für 14 Euro. Wir waren dann nur das eine mal oben.

Having just moved to Barcelona we were looking for somewhere cheap to stay to keep our costs low. We found this hostel on Hostelworld but booked through the hostel website as it was cheaper and breakfast was included! Breakfast was the perfect continental spread (croissants, bread, cereal, cheese, eggs etc). We stayed in a 12 bed female dorm with an en suit which suited our needs perfectly. The cage system under the beds is a great way of keeping the room tidy - bring a lock for the cage! And speaking of locks, the hostel is very central and as a result has lots of safety measures in place. With our room card we can only access the ground floor, the self catering kitchen and our own floor. the safety measures in place are brilliant. The food in the bar is delicious and guests at the hostel get a discount so it's great value too! We played a few rounds of pool with the staff (special shout out to Liam and Kelly), we had a great time. The bar has many screens for showing all kinds of sports which draws in a good crowd any night of the week. The staff overall are extremely friendly and helpful at any time of the day or night. The housekeeping staff are at the top of their game, the place is spotless and extremely well kept. We highly highly recommend this hostel when visiting Barcelona.

Ich war im Dezember 10 Tage in dem Hotel. Ankunft Zimmer hatte 25 Grad, leider kein lüften oder kühlen möglich. Fenster sind nicht öffenbar aus Sicherheitsgründen, aber bei Zimmern mit Balkon kein Problem, völlig unlogisch. Klimaanlage ist leider ausgeschalten. Nach mehrfacher Reklamation wurde das Fenster einen Spalt geöffnet, ich musste in der Zeit aber das Zimmer verlassen. Manchmal unangenehmer Geruch aus der Dusche / WC. Lage ist ok. Ist zwar etwas außerhalb, aber ca. 5 Gehminuten zum Strand und Metrostation auf der anderen Straßenseite. Die Metroverbindungen sind sehr gut und kommt man überall hin. Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Rezeption hält sich in Grenzen. Frühstück war ok, Rührei hatte einen sehr seltsamen Geschmack, habe ich dann gemieden. Wenn man allerdings dann lieber ein Spiegelei möchte, kostet dieses 5 Euro! extra, obwohl man ja Frühstück mitgebucht hatte. Das finde ich schon sehr frech und ist mir in einem 4 Sterne Hotel noch nie passiert. Gut war die Abdunklung der Zimmer, schlecht das die Böden alle gefliest sind, und man vom Nachbarn jede Bewegung des Stuhls gehört hat, extrem nervig. Größtes Problem war für mich die Sicherheit. Safe ist zwar vorhanden, aber man bekommt problemlos eine 2,3,4. Zimmerkarte ohne Kontrollen. Ich musste nur einen Namen sagen, dann wurde mir sogar noch die Zimmernummer dazu verraten. Die Hoteldirektorin sah keine Veranlassung die Sicherheitsstandards dafür zu erhöhen, und z.b. nach einem Pass zu Fragen oder persönlichen Daten wie Geb.Datum. Der Aufwand wäre zu groß, obwohl bekannt ist, das es zu Diebstählen kam und kommt, auch in der Zeit wo ich dort war.

Gutes Stadthotel neben einer Bahnstation und maximal 5 Min von einer U Bahn Station entfernt. Auch viele Buslinien fahren im Umkreis von 5 Min. um das Hotel herum. Entfernung per ÖPNV bis Airport circa 45 Min.. Hotel liegt zentral, sowohl Hafen, Strand als auch zentrale Plätze und Straßen im Umkreis von maximal 20 Fussminuten erreichbar. Hotelzimmer modern mit Klimaanlage, Safe (funktionierte leider nicht, da wohl kein Schlüssel vorhanden), WLAN schnell, Bad und Schlafzimmer sehr modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Bett sehr bequem und ausreichend Platz im Zimmer. Frühstück reichlich und qualitativ hochwertig. In allen Bereichen sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. I stayed here for two nights in January 2022 as part of a group tour and overall had a pretty awful experience. I faced the following problems at this hotel- 1- The bathroom is open without any door so basically everyone in the room can see you inside the bathroom. This is not an ideal situation for any travelers except couples. Moreover, it ensures that the water from the shower falls into the room and makes it wet. 2- The bed provides no comforter or blanket. So when you feel cold you have to unwrap a brown paper full length cover that does not give any protection at all from the cold. 3- When you switch on the hand shower, the head shower comes on automatically, that too with ice cold water! 4- There is a large counter behind the bed to place items but when you put something on it, you get a loud metallic shrieking noise. 5- Air conditioning in the corridor outside the rooms is set to freezing temperature. 6- Breakfast timings were supposed to be from 7 am to 10 am, but when we went at 8 30 am most of the food was over and nobody was taking an interest in refilling the food. The coffee machine was not working properly. 7- We could hear everything that occurred in adjacent rooms, because soundproofing was poor. 8- We were given two separate beds in spite of being a couple. 9- Finding out which switches operate which lights was very difficult. Moreover on the first day we requested a wake up call which never came! The few positive points are- 1- Close to Fira Metro Station on the Metro Line 9 (4 minute walk) 2- Close to Gran Vía 2 shopping mall (12 minute walk) 3- Friendly and polite staff Overall I think the hotel needs to make a lot of improvements!

Bedauerliche Erfahrung. Wir kamen um 18:00 Uhr, das Licht war weg. Sie wollten uns auf die Straße warten lassen. Sie gab uns kein Zimmer, wir warten fast 3 Stunden. Die sehr unfreundlichen, sehr schlechten und immer rücksichtslosen Rezeptionisten haben uns und die Gäste, die sie erwarteten, mit uns umgebracht. Nachdem sie die Online-Zahlung getätigt hatten, wollten sie uns die Summe wieder einziehen. Wir haben Frühstück und ist schrecklich. Schlechte Kaffee, wenige Variation und abgeschnittene Milch. schlecht renovierte Zimmer, Duschetafel und TV mit schwarzen Streifen und blockiert den Automatikzeiter. Fehlgemeldet, keine Taxis kommen aus der Gegend. 0 empfehlenswert.
