GGastnutzerWe were very pleased with the hotel and stayed there at both the beginning and end of our trip to Italy. We rented a car at the airport and parked it right in front of the hotel's door in a private courtyard. That was very convenient. I believe they charged us about 35 Euros each night for that perk. The hotel was luxurious, and the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. They had someone carry our bags to and from our room during check-in and check-out. Everything in the large room worked; it was clean, and there was a safe to store your valuables.
As Americans, a few reminders or unexpected things to note. You'll need a power adapter (easily purchased on Amazon) and, unless you bring a voltage converter, make sure any appliances (CPAP, travel steamer/iron, etc) are compatible with both 110V and 220/230V. We didn't find washcloths in any of the hotels in Italy, so we just used hand towels in the shower. The shower at this hotel (both rooms) was a bath/shower combination. There was no shower curtain or door, only a small partition near the removable shower head to keep the water from splashing everywhere, which it basically did. While it is a beautiful historic building, there are a couple of elevators at this hotel, so you don't need to lug your stuff up a bunch of stairs.
The room key is enormous and they only give you one. We kept ours in the car whenever we left the hotel so we wouldn't carry it around. Even though we had a car, we found it more convenient to leave it at the hotel and take an Uber to Vatican City rather than walk more than a mile each way, which we also did twice. The area surrounding the hotel was historic and lots of fun. Plenty of places to shop and eat. The breakfast buffet at the hotel each morning was also superb. Plenty of hot and cold items to fill you up before trekking out.
That's about it. Don't forget to check out the view from the rooftop at the hotel. Have a great time in Rome!

Leider war das Duschbad klein. Der Preis gehört zu den niedrigsten unter den Hotels der Stadt und die Lage liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Wenn Ihnen das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wichtig ist, könnte es also eine gute Wahl sein.

Hello, I’m a traveler from Korea who recently stayed at Starhotels during a family trip to Italy.
Our 4-day stay in Rome was so wonderful that I felt compelled to write this heartfelt review as soon as I returned home.
This trip was our very first family vacation to Europe — with my mother and my son — and we spent the first three days in Rome at Starhotels. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations: the excellent location, the spotless rooms, and most of all, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made our stay incredibly comfortable. We were so satisfied that we decided to return to Starhotels for our final night in Italy. However, due to a mistake on my part, I accidentally booked the wrong date.
After completing a long 11-day journey through southern Italy, we returned to Rome exhausted — only to realize the booking was incorrect when we arrived at the hotel.
It was a stressful and overwhelming moment… until Mr. Tofael M., the manager, kindly stepped in to help us.
Before even fully understanding the issue, Mr. Tofael looked us — especially my son — in the eyes and simply said, “Don’t worry.I’ll find a solution for you.” Those few words brought such relief and comfort. In a foreign country, such a mistake can feel paralyzing, but his calm and genuine reassurance made a huge difference.
Even more touching was how Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola S. at the front desk went out of their way to find a solution for us. Since the booking was made through an external site (not directly through the hotel), it was a complicated issue. Nevertheless, Mr. Tofael personally made multiple calls and followed up diligently until he was able to resolve the matter.
Thanks to his efforts, we were able to spend our last night in Italy exactly where we wanted — back at Starhotels, feeling safe and cared for.
As someone who has worked for years in global hotel chains in Korea and is still in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say that their professionalism and dedication truly stood out.
They are a model of what true hoteliers should be — and they absolutely deserve recognition and praise.
Without hesitation, I will choose this hotel again when I return to Rome. I also plan to recommend Starhotels, along with the outstanding service of Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola, to as many people as possible through blogs, travel communities, and any platform I can.

VViviLeon”Ich habe vor kurzem in diesem schönen Hotel in einem charmanten Bereich geblieben. Trotz der günstigsten Option war das Zimmer sehr klein, aber überraschend komfortabel. Es ist jedoch wert, festzustellen, dass wenn Sie mehr als einen Tasche haben, der Raum vielleicht ein wenig eng.
Einer der Highlights des Hotels ist seine Nähe zum Bahnhof, Restaurants und Bars, so dass es für die Erforschung des Gebiets bequem ist. Während das Zimmer nicht kostenlos mit Wasser versorgt wurde, gab es an der Rezeption einen erfreulichen Tee, der einen schönen Kontakt war.
Insgesamt hatte ich eine gute Erfahrung während meines Aufenthalts. Das gemütliche Zimmer, die bequeme Lage und die gemütlichen Einrichtungen für einen angenehmen Besuch gemacht. ”

CChanTaiMingDie Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Bis zum Hauptbahnhof Roma Termini müssen Sie nicht zu lange schleppen kann jederzeit zum Bruch der Gepäckrolle führen.
Das Zimmer ist sauber, die Dekoration etwas veraltet, aber insgesamt bin ich zufrieden.
Das Frühstück im Hotel war das reichhaltigste der gesamten Reise. Außerdem erfordern italienische Früchte und Gemüse wie grüne Paprika, rote Paprika und Tomaten keine komplizierten Kochmethoden und sind bereits sehr lecker.
Schließlich wurde die Tourismusabgabe für Hotelaufenthalte in Rom von 4,5 Euro auf 6 Euro pro Person und Nacht erhöht. Für zwei von uns mussten wir 36 Euro für einen Aufenthalt von drei Nächten zahlen, was der teuerste Preis unter den Städten ist.

ZZadquielInsgesamt ziemlich gut, ein bisschen weit vom Zentrum entfernt, obwohl es gut angebunden ist. Das wirklich Negative ist, wie schlecht die Straße bis zur Spitze des Hügels angebunden ist, auf dem es liegt.
Der Service und die Sauberkeit waren eher durchschnittlich und das Frühstück war recht einfach und hätte viel abwechslungsreicher sein können.

GGastnutzerWalls in our room were dirty and dusty. Mold in the bathroom and around our window. A/C controlled by front desk, so you have to call for them to turn it off and on, kind of annoying. Entrance to the museum of Vatican is across the street, so too many people in front of the hotel all the time. Noise in the morning from other guests and house keeping can get loud. Worst part is check out at 10am. Definitely not staying there again.

JJustin UreEin riesiger Park zum Übernachten. Unsere Hütte war ordentlich und bot dank des zusätzlichen Einzelbetts viel Platz, was den Aufpreis wert war. Die Dusche und der Waschtisch waren schön groß. Die separate Toilette war sehr praktisch. Es gab einen kleinen Kühlschrank, aber wir waren etwas verwirrt, dass es keinen Wasserkocher zum Kaffeekochen gab. Ich schätze, sie wollten, dass man ins Café geht. Es gibt einen riesigen Poolbereich, aber leider war dieser geschlossen, da es wohl Winter war. Ich würde einen Aufenthalt empfehlen, wenn man gerne etwas außerhalb der Stadt wohnt, aber es ist nur eine Busfahrt von fast direkt vor der Tür und ein halbes Dutzend U-Bahn-Stationen entfernt.

GGastnutzerEhrlich gesagt glaube ich nicht, dass dieses Hotel eine gute Wahl ist. . Das Bett ist sehr klein, die Fotos des Zimmers sind sehr irreführend und die Ausstattung entspricht in etwa dem Niveau inländischer Home Inns vor 2010. Ich habe es wirklich bereut, sobald ich hereinkam. . Der Toilettenschalter im Badezimmer funktioniert nicht richtig.
Das einzig Gute war, dass es aus der Dusche im Badezimmer reichlich Wasser gab. .
Würde es nicht noch einmal wählen, ist nicht mein Fall.
