Hotels in Rom mit Frühstück

Der Zugang ist etwas schwierig zu finden, aber ansonsten ist alles gut. Es liegt weniger als zehn Kilometer von der antiken Stadt Rom entfernt und ist mit dem Auto in zwanzig Minuten zu erreichen. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind sehr neu, das Abendessen ist gut und der Typ ist auch sehr gutaussehend

Our stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome. Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights. The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom. Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows. Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other. We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request. As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee. Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial. House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without. Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

Das Interieur unterschied sich von den Fotos auf trip.com, vermutlich weil es gerade renoviert worden war, aber es war sehr schön. Es lag etwa acht Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Termini entfernt, und auch die U-Bahn war in der Nähe, was sehr praktisch war. Die Hotelangestellten waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet; ich habe mich während meines fünftägigen Aufenthalts jeden Morgen darauf gefreut.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, nahe den bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten, und der Bahnhof sowie der Busbahnhof sind zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichbar, falls man öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzen möchte. Das Zimmer war an sich in Ordnung, allerdings drückten die Federn der Matratzen durch und stachen uns unangenehm in den Rücken. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, mit einer Auswahl an verschiedenen Brotsorten und Gebäck. Alles war frisch und tagesfrisch. Diese Konditorei ist 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt.

Das Hotel Caravel liegt nur wenige Blocks von der Stazione Garbatella entfernt. Das Personal spricht Spanisch, Englisch und Italienisch (wahrscheinlich auch andere Sprachen). Ich hatte das Vergnügen, sieben Tage mit meinem Vater im Caravel zu übernachten, und sie kamen seinen Bedürfnissen sehr entgegen (zum Beispiel haben sie seinen Laptop sicher aufbewahrt und ihm einen Wasserkocher für eine Tasse Tee am Abend zur Verfügung gestellt). Sie haben auch Adapter für Steckdosen und bieten Wäscheservice von Drittanbietern an. Das Hotel hat Rampen für Behinderte und verfügt über ein Bekleidungsgeschäft, eine Bar, eine Frühstücksbar und ein Restaurant. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr abwechslungsreich und einige Speisen werden selbst zubereitet. Ich hoffe, dass ich bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Rom wieder bei ihnen übernachten kann. Mein Lieblingsfrühstück (das ich fast jeden Tag hatte) ist auf diesem Bild zu sehen.

We stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

Una piacevole sorpresa vicino alla Fontana di Trevi. Bella stanza con arredamento curato e molto pulita. Ottima esperienza soprattutto grazie alla disponibilità e gentilezza del proprietario che ha fatto di tutto per rendere perfetto il nostro soggiorno! Ci torneremo!!!

Erstens ist die Lage nach dem Verlassen des Bahnhofs etwas mehr als 100 Meter entfernt. Es ist ruhig mitten im Trubel, sodass es nachts nicht laut ist. Neben der Rezeption gibt es einen kleinen Raum, in dem Sie Ihr Gepäck aufbewahren können. Die Aufbewahrung liegt jedoch in Ihrem Ermessen. Wenn Sie Bedenken haben, können Sie ein Kettenschloss mitbringen und Ihr Gepäck im Regal abschließen. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, es gibt nur Brot, Schinken, Milch, Kaffee und es gibt nur sehr wenige Sorten. Was ich bemängeln muss, ist, dass das Zimmer wirklich klein ist, kleiner als ein japanisches Hotelzimmer. Es gibt keinen Platz im Zimmer, um einen Koffer zu öffnen und ihn herauszunehmen. Die Einrichtungen sind relativ alt, der Klimatraktor macht Lärm und das Wasser hört nach der Toilettenspülung nicht auf. Es hört sich an, als würde man die ganze Nacht am Fluss schlafen. Aber es ist wirklich praktisch, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs zu wohnen. Es scheint, dass es in der Nähe solche Hotels gibt, aber der Preis ist relativ günstig, das ist alles.

Die Lage ist etwas weit vom Bahnhof entfernt, aber in einer ruhigen Gasse. In der Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants und Bars Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr höflich und es gab eine alte Dame, die ziemlich gut Englisch sprach. Ich traf auch einen hübschen jungen Mann, der angeblich Chinesisch sprechen konnte. Ich brachte ihm sogar einen chinesischen Satz bei: „Hast du gegessen?“ Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind durchschnittlich, aber unter den Hotels auf dem gleichen Niveau wie der Bahnhof gilt es als Mittelklassehotel. Das legendäre große Loch in der Wand des Zimmers, in dem sich ein Safe befand, habe ich nicht gesehen. Das Zimmer ist auch relativ sauber, ohne die legendären Ungeziefer. Das Frühstück war ok. Neben der Rezeption des Hotels gibt es eine kleine Bar und gegenüber der Bar gibt es ein kleines Wohnzimmer mit verschiedenen klassischen Möbeln und einem Kinderwagen für Behinderte. . Insgesamt gilt es als überdurchschnittlich gut für Hotels der gleichen Preisklasse in Bahnhofsnähe.

Die sanitären Einrichtungen und die Umgebung sind in Ordnung. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Im ersten Stock befindet sich der Präsidentenpalast. Zur Plaza de España, der Piazza Venezia, dem Pantheon und anderen berühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind es 10 Minuten , und es gibt mehrere Straßen (nach Süden), es gibt viele Restaurants mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Auch das Frühstücksangebot ist reichhaltig und der Service gut. Der Nachteil ist, dass aus der Ctrip-Bestellung hervorgeht, dass ich nur 24 Euro Tourismusabgabe zahlen muss, das Hotel aber 36 Euro bezahlt hat. Zum Glück hat mir Ctrip zuerst geholfen. Außerdem ist das Hotel im Allgemeinen schallisoliert und die Einrichtungen sind es Ein bisschen alt, aber für Italien gibt es viele alte Gebäude, das können wir auch verstehen
