I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. Bestes Hotel mit Strandblick ... Etwas weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, aber wirklich sehr schön zum Übernachten ... Gutes Personal ... Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Strand ... Sauberes Hotel ... Gutes Frühstück ... Gute Ausstattung... Ich liebe den Ort... 😃🙏🏻 Ich hoffe, bald zu Besuch zu sein. Wir waren im August fast eine Woche im Wyndham Baku. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal war professionell. Besonderer Hinweis an: 1. Aytaj – Rezeption 2. Hadiyya – Mitarbeiter bei Magnolia 3. Huseyn – Mitarbeiter bei Magnolia. Vielen Dank, dass Sie unseren Aufenthalt angenehm gemacht haben.

Es gibt mindestens 4 Sapphire Hotels in Baku (Sapphire, Sapphire Inn, Sapphire City, Royal Sapphire), so dass es ein wenig verwirrend werden kann. Aber das Sapphire Inn, wo ich geblieben bin, ist OK. Es sieht ganz schön besser aus als in der Realität, aber es hat immer noch viele gute Aspekte. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, einfach zu Fuß nach Old City, Wasserfront oder Zentrum. Ich habe Zimmer 314, ein riesiges, altes Zimmer mit ziemlich verschwundenem Beige-Träger und schrecklichem Goldpapier - aber der Raum ist gut und das Bett war wirklich komfortabel. Das Zimmer war sehr gut geformt, saubere Fliesen, große Regenschlafschrank, gutes warmes Wasser und weiche Handtücher. Das Telefon funktionierte nicht und das WLAN im Zimmer war schwach. Das Frühstück war eher ”nicht-europäische”, mit Oliven, Tomaten und Käse, aber wunderbar Milch (Joghurt, Creme und Kaymak zu sterben!). Einige frische Saft und Eier (außer gekocht) wären schön. Auch die Hotelbetreuung für große Touristengruppen: Als sie das Frühstückszimmer invadierten, war es schwer zu finden einen Sitz und das Personal kämpfen, um das Buffet auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten. Ich fand alle Mitarbeiter, an der Rezeption, Zimmerservice und Restaurant, super freundlich.

Das Frühstückspersonal ist sehr wunderbar, erhebt den Stimmung. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet Aber ich mag die bezahlten Hut in dem Pool für 20 Manat (es ist teuer), der Hut für die Dusche passte nicht, obwohl alle Hotels passen, der Stimmung wurde zerstört

We arrived on the 22 and was welcomed by ismail and checked in by shams from reception both were super nice and instantly gave us one of the best first impression any one can ask for. Our first day we had shawarma from black city and it was the best shawarma we ever had and made us go back again for the taste of it several times. Definitely recommend every one to try. We had the best service by our special favorite orkhan who was super friendly and the team made sure we get the best service. We had to just look once and literally the staff comes running to help. 10/10 for the attentiveness and details of the black city staff. We tried green house but the food is same as white city. Would have been amazing if they had a different cuisine than white city. We had the best shisha made by Hussain who was very kind but didn’t get the same smile and sweetness from the other staff in green house. Service was not bad but as we had an amazing experience from black city where all the staff are super attentive was a little down fall. We had dinner in white city and couldn’t order anything else after we tried the honey baby chicken which was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch twice in white city but the service was super slow due to lack of staff but David while we noticed it was definitely a time of rush he had done amazing while doing the service with a very energetic smile and a very positive vibe. The hotel has a beautiful steam room, sauna and a pool. I met gulshan from spa while I went for sauna who always was super attentive kind with a gorgeous smile. It is beautiful to go for a walk out side the hotel as it’s near a park with ocean views. We had met amazing locals as well as everyone we met were super kind. The hotel has beautiful garden and greenery around the property. We usually take pictures in every country we go but we fell in love with the gardens and the colours around we took pictures just out side the hotel. Lots of mini butterflies and just super pretty and beautiful colorfulness around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you love mirrors this would be a perfect place as the hallway to room are filled with huge mirrors. The only problem we faced was that the hotel didn’t have a eu plug and we had to take a walk to get them on the first day but other than that didn’t have any issues. Lastly was checked out by Orkhan from reception who was funny and sweet asked us about our stay and had a good last impression as well. All together a great team at marriot and definitely would recommend to stay as the hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and to top of has amazing staff with delicious food. Personally this was the best vacation 💕

During my 13-hour layover in Baku, I chose to unwind at the Fly Inn Baku Hotel, seeking a relaxing break between flights. Discovered online and backed by positive reviews, the hotel exceeded expectations. The modern and clean ambiance, convenient service, and optional flexible check-in and check-out policies appealed to my preferences. The spacious rooms, well-stocked bathroom essentials, plush robes, and excellent modern gym contributed to a comfortable stay. The gym and pool not only provided excellent facilities but also allowed me to rejuvenate after a previous long-haul flight. Despite being in close proximity to the airport, the hotel maintained a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The exceptional Azerbaijani hospitality made me feel like an awaited guest, and the hotel's value for money was evident. While the slightly outdated furniture and bath tub were minor considerations, they did not significantly impact the overall positive experience. I recommend Fly Inn Baku Hotel for travelers seeking a peaceful layover, offering excellent amenities such as a spa, quiet lobby areas, spacious rooms with excellent glazing to minimize runway noise, and reliable Wi-Fi for those looking to work during their stay.

We had the best time here. All thanks to the lovely staff of Staybridge Baku, special thanks to Mr. Farid who assisted us through whatsapp before we even travelled and also throughout our journey he was so kind to guide us at every step. & Mr. Parviz and the whole staff for being so hospitable and kind. We were upgraded to the executive suite on 15th floor because it was our anniversary. This is the most gorgeous room in the whole hotel. The view is just next level - we could see the whole city skyline, the sea, the flaming towers from here. The balcony was sooo huge. Their beds are comfortable & cleanliness is also very well taken care of. Their TV had netflix youtube which I wasn't expecting to be honest, which we would watch after a long day out so we never got bored here. We stayed 5 days and did not have any single issue. Highly recommended if you visit Baku. Its a beautiful city with beautiful and friendly people.
