Park Hotel & Spa-Adults Only

Depends on your attitude! 😆 If you’re looking for a peaceful and well managed hotel this is a good option for Tsilivi. We enjoyed our stay at Park Hotel. Mr Ilyas (sorry if wrong spelling) and his team with Cassie etc were always available to help. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the lovely pool and garden area and was very clean by housekeeping lady. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. The pool bar and lunch menu was great quality and large portions. All reasonably priced and branded spirits only. It is a 10/15 min walk to the heart of Tsilivi (that’s if you can manage to get past Sandra’s bar 🎺 without stopping for a cocktail). The local shop was well stocked an open til midnight. It was very hot, 40’ during our stay and I have to admire the staff for working so well during the heatwave. We had a massage but I wasn’t impressed with it and she was really not customer friendly/rude. Which is a shame as the other staff were all so lovely. There are plenty of sun beds at all times. We enjoyed eating good greek food at Memories taverna, Benikos, Calypso and spent a day at Phoenix beach hotel were you can pay €20 to use the sunbeds and pool. They did lovely daiquiris. The Hub does amazing icecreams and another lovely bakery further down for Baklava is by the corner underneath where the escalators are. The sea was lovely and warm and shallow. Our best meal and service was at Estia which caters for allergies too. I felt very safe with my daughter staying at the Park hotel, as it only had one main entrance. The cute kittens were another highlight until someone decided to adopt them and take them home. Maybe next year they’ll come back and adopt one of the workhorses and carriages that go by? I would highly recommend the Park hotel in this part of Zakynthos. Thank you all for a lovely holiday.

We were a bit optimistic before arriving as by myself and TUI contacted them to explained that our dietary requirements had changed due do a ( medical issue) however there was no reply, and sadly at breakfast there was hardly anything for me to eat just bacon eggs and tiny sausages they did offer gluten free bread couldn’t toast it mind and dried up fruit, but wasn’t very appealing. The staff where very unhelpful I ate breakfast I think 3 times out of 7 and one day brought my own rolls with me! considering the majority of the restaurants in the area offer a number of coeliac safe dishes seems lazy they they can’t even provide basics for paying guests. The was no apology for not being catered for especially when they only offer bed and breakfast! The pool bar had food and the only option I could have was a sandwich with no butter/mayo or a salad with no dressing! Such a poor offering! The staff again where very standoffish with me . The only friendly member of staff was the night time bar man! Bar prices are fair and the food my husband had from the pool bar was nice and inexpensive. The room we had was on the ground floor right behind the sun beds a terrace not really a pool view We paid for! , the pool area was clean however didn’t noticed the pool being cleaned in 7 days Make of that what you will. If you’ve been to the area before you be aware of the amount of stray cats around! Granted this is not the hotels fault but there was a mom and 2 kittens but in poor state, and again not the hotels fault but they should have encouraged the guests not to feed them next to someone’s balcony. We didn’t feel comfortable spending time on the terrace because of this reason! I had reported this and then they where moved on once however kept coming back the hotel where aware of this as I had to report them again for nearly going in to the pool and the pool room! The hotel was lovely clean and modern the room was a bit of a let down the fridge only worked when the card was in for the electric so nothing stayed cold. I asked for a xtra pillow and was told I had to wait to the next day! There was signs of wear and tear in the room and sadly on the last day found mould! We made the owner aware as soon as we had noticed it he wouldn’t check it with us. However I believe he went on to check as we had a evening flight we where in the hotel for a good while after check out and on his was home he brought us 2 drinks never heard of this in any previous reviews . So maybe his way of an apology but never got an a sincere verbal apology! To me this hotel had no atmosphere I appreciate it had no on site entertainment. Just music you could only slightly hear if you are by then top pool! We got talking to other guest and some agreed with the lack of atmosphere but also spoke to a couple that had been returning for the last 5 years so I suppose it’s very hit and miss and fully agree everyone’s experiences are different. I wouldn’t not personally return

Unfortunately we encountered the rude owner, the tinned fruit or dried up apples for breakfast, non existent WiFi etc reported here by many others. Sheets that are almost worn out and are too small for the beds……I could go on. Fortunately the lovely town and great beach redeemed our holiday!

We checked into Park Hotel & Spa in Tsilivi and were shown to room 103 on the ground floor. The room was advertised as a 'deluxe' room and as 'modern accommodation'. Unfortunately the room was scruffy and uncomfortable. Some of the issues included a bed where we could feel the springs in the mattress, no pool view (as advertised because we were below ground level), a damaged kettle that wouldn't turn off when boiling, shower head and door hinges that were rusted, shower door lock that didn't work, damage to the shower room door frame, cracked tiles, Expelair that didn't work, no internet signal (as advertised) etc. We went to reception and asked if we could be upgraded, to which she said "the hotel is full and there are no rooms available for the duration of your stay". We were so upset that we decided to book alternative accommodation at a cost of £802 to us. We don't believe the hotel justifies a 4* rating, and was nothing like advertised. We have had to pay over £1100 for the alternative accommodation and transport (and breakfasts). We have holidayed with Jet2 on numerous occasions previously and never had a complaint. Indeed, we have always recommended them to friends and family. We paid Jet2 £2154 for this substandard holiday and will not be using Jet2 again.

What a great hotel. Spacious rooms, great pool and the best pool bar food I've ever had. Hotel is spotlessly clean and great choice at breakfast. The location is excellent, about 15 minutes ealk into the centre of Tsilivi. The staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful, will definitely be returning .

I can definitely recommend the Park Hotel! The breakfasts were lovely with a great choice, the rooms were cleaned daily, the whole place was spotless and well maintained. The pool bar was very reasonably priced and the food there was excellent. The hotel was quiet, my first time in an adult only hotel and it was a game changer! The staff were friendly and attentive , the owner was there most nights, he also took us on the curtesy bus to and from the beach. All in all, a fab hotel, a lovely holiday and we can’t wait to go back.

Amazing holiday and fantastic stay in the Park Hotel. The hotel was clean, friendly and professional staff, breakfast was superb, so much choice, the owner even provided courtesy transport to the local beach, will definitely be booking to go back to this hotel

Just back from 11 nights at the Park hotel. First time at this resort and hotel and we were really pleased by both. Having read some of the more negative reviews we were a little unsure what to expect but thankfully they turned out to be the moans of people who are probably never happy. The hotel is in a good position on the edge of town so nice and quiet while only being a 10 min stroll to the bars and restaurants and 25 mins to the beach or up into Planos with its choice of food and drink. It is literally a few feet away from the next door hotel (Petros) but we never heard any noise coming from it even though it was full with many families. The hotel is very clean and modern. It has a large reception area with comfy seating and TV. Pool area is plenty big enough with lots of sun beds. Hotel was full when we stayed and we never had an issue getting a bed, the grass area just back from the pool has loads of beds as well. The pool is quiet as others have said but we liked that, bring your own entertainment. There are TVs in the pool bar showing sport. The rooms are modern with sufficient space and facilities, we booked a superior double which looked great, however we were offered an upgrade to an executive suite for a very reasonable price (way way less than if we’d booked it via jet2) which we accepted. Huge room to the front of the hotel which got the afternoon sun. The pool view rooms are in shade for much of the day. Food at breakfast was as you’d expect. Choice of cereal, cold meats, bread, pastries, salads, fruit, hot items including a variety of Greek dishes (spinach pie etc) plus a lovely you woman on the egg station. Only comment would be that the coffee from the machine was a bit weak and the fruit juice not great but otherwise the kind of breakfast you get in most hotels. Food at the pool bar was excellent, a really good choice, well cooked and priced in line with restaurants in town, as were the drinks. We didn’t find anywhere that was cheaper and other than a change of scenery we were happy to have lunch there most days. Finally a word for the staff, absolutely lovely hard working people who were always cheerful and friendly despite it being end of season. Casie, Alex and Dimitri run the breakfast service and pool bar and were great. In the evening Fotis ran the bar and is a lovely guy. All in we would definitely recommend staying here,

Lovely modern hotel, great staff and management team. We have just returned from a great week at the park hotel. The rooms are modern and clean and the hotel pool, bar and restaurant are all very modern too. The staff at Park were friendly and helpful and in particular I was impressed with how they looked after the sick kittens that lived on site. They took them to the vets and fed and administered treatment to their eyes daily. Some hotels would not care and look after stray cats so well, I was impressed by this and hope the care of the cat/kitten’s continues in the winter.
