Die Speisen und Getränke des Hotels sind fantastisch (im Bild), das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und das chinesische Buffet ist auch dasselbe (der RMB liegt bei fast 200). Der Service war sehr rücksichtsvoll. Eine Nacht vor dem Check-out rief die Rezeption im Zimmer an, um Informationen zum Flug zu erhalten. Als ich wusste, dass es sich um einen Flug um 17 Uhr handelte, gab ich sofort an, dass ich die Check-out-Zeit auf halb zwei verlängern könnte. Jedes Mal, wenn ich ausgehe, wird das Personal des Concierge den Uber benutzen, um das Auto anzurufen, und ich werde mich nicht darum kümmern. Auch die Zimmerreinigung war sehr sorgfältig. Beim nächsten Mal entscheide ich mich fürs Leben. Der Nachteil ist, dass der Markt auf beiden Seiten der Tür zu peinlich ist und ich nachts nicht spazieren gehen kann, aber das Hotel ist schallisoliert und das Betreten des Eisentors ist eine andere ruhige Welt. Auch die Toilettenspülung braucht Kraft. Außerdem perfekt.

I shall start from arrival at the hotel. We were a family of four who had booked two rooms at the property. We arrived around 14:30 Hrs (at least 30 mins after the designated check-in time). First of all, although the check-in desk at the hotel is quite huge, there were only 3 staff members ***ning the desk, all of them occupied. We had to wait for around 15 mins, looking here and there like *****s with our bags on before someone greeted us. And I do not mind waiting for check-in; what I do mind is that despite multiple staff members seeing us wait, not one of them acknowledge our presence and asked us to take a seat and wait. They would all look at us and carry on. Forget a warm smile, forget a namaste, we were made to feel like fools just standing there without anyone attending to us. When we finally did get a chance to check in, we were given two adjacent rooms. The key to one room was handed over to us, and we were told that the second room is not ready yet and that as soon as it is ready the key would be sent to us in our room. We said okay and moved towards our room. Once in our room, all four of us sat waiting in one room for around 45 mins for the key to the second room. We were not able to unpack because we wanted to unpack in our respective rooms. Tired and hungry, we left the hotel to get ourselves some lunch and some sightseeing, hoping that by the time we return our second room would be ready. When we returned and asked for the key to the second room from the reception desk, we were told that the room that was allocated to us had been now given to someone else -- and we were given some other room that was ”close” to the first room. I understand that asking for adjacent rooms is a mere request and not a right. But had we been given a ”close” room earlier, we could have gotten the keys earlier at the time of check-in! We waited for a room for so long, only for it to be given to someone else. Fast forward to the next morning's breakfast. The spread was quite good and quite diverse in variety. However, again the entire staff at the breakfast looked tense for some reason. And they kept messing up with live counter orders. No one had a smile on, no one welcomed you with warmth, and no one made you feel as if you were staying in a 5-star hotel (which The Lalit considers itself to be). Our entire experience with The Lalit was below par at the very least. It was not the kind of experience you would expect from a branded property that so conveniently calls itself a luxury 5-star property. I honestly feel for the money that I paid, I could and should have gotten a different property and that would have been definitely better. For the foreseeable future, and till things change, I do not see myself staying at any Lalit property.

Die Gartenbar und die Möglichkeit, auch draussen zu frühstücken sind bei den vergleichbaren Hotels in Kalkutta nicht oder zumindest ncht in dieser Klasse gegeben. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und das Essen ebenfalls. Mein Langzeitaufebthalt wurde damit durchaus zum Vergnügen.

Insgesamt ist das Hotel älter und die Einrichtungen sind älter, aber die Lage ist besser und es ist näher an meinem Ziel. Am Anfang war es nicht viel, und die beiden wichtigsten Punkte waren nicht sehr zufriedenstellend: 1) Wenn Sie einige Stunden im Voraus einchecken, wird Ihnen der halbe Tagespreis berechnet, und Sie können den Preis nicht besprechen; 2) Für einen späten Check-out wird ebenfalls der Zimmerpreis für einen halben Tag berechnet. Die Gebühren sind verständlich und die Einrichtungen veraltet, aber die Gesamteinstellung ist nicht sehr zufriedenstellend. Bei Auswahl wird diese nicht gewählt. Aber gelegentlich blieb nichts, die Gesamtempfehlung ist moderat.

Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, super Müllverantwortung. Beim Einchecken habe ich es sehr deutlich gemacht. Ich möchte noch einen Tag bleiben, weil mein Flugzeug mitten in der Nacht umdreht und als ich bei der Rezeption nachfragte, stellte ich fest, dass der an der Rezeption festgelegte Preis höher war als der in der lokalen indischen App gebuchte Preis. Der Preis ist immer noch niedrig, also bestätigte ich an der diensthabenden Rezeption in dieser Nacht, dass ich einen weiteren Tag hinzufügen würde und bestätigte, dass es ein Zimmer gibt. Als Ergebnis sagte mir 11.55 Uhr am nächsten Tag, dass ich gehen musste und alle Zimmer verkauft waren. Ich war schockiert, als ich es hörte, mein Flugzeug war um 12 Uhr abends, und mein Gepäck von mehr als 30 Kilogramm und ich wurden ausgewiesen. Was soll ich in 12 Stunden tun? Das Ärgerlichste ist, dass es für den ganzen Prozess kein Entschuldigen gibt, okay, es gibt kein Wort der Entschuldigung, und lassen Sie mich von ihrer Seite aus betrachten und alle Verantwortungen auf meinen Kopf schieben, die Haltung ist zu steif. Frühstück ist ok, Buffet, aber es gibt nicht viele Arten von Speisen, wie Brot, Nudeln, Reiskuchen usw. Es gibt auch Obst und Getränke. Die Lage ist sehr nahe am Flughafen, 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß. Verglichen mit der schmutzigen Umgebung ist es sehr gut. Das Hotelpersonal ist auch sehr freundlich und reaktionsschnell, sowie Konverter für Steckdosen. Das Zimmer drinnen ist noch recht ruhig. Es scheint in der Lage zu sein, zu parken, aber der Platz ist nicht sehr groß.

I shall start from arrival at the hotel. We were a family of four who had booked two rooms at the property. We arrived around 14:30 Hrs (at least 30 mins after the designated check-in time). First of all, although the check-in desk at the hotel is quite huge, there were only 3 staff members ***ning the desk, all of them occupied. We had to wait for around 15 mins, looking here and there like *****s with our bags on before someone greeted us. And I do not mind waiting for check-in; what I do mind is that despite multiple staff members seeing us wait, not one of them acknowledge our presence and asked us to take a seat and wait. They would all look at us and carry on. Forget a warm smile, forget a namaste, we were made to feel like fools just standing there without anyone attending to us. When we finally did get a chance to check in, we were given two adjacent rooms. The key to one room was handed over to us, and we were told that the second room is not ready yet and that as soon as it is ready the key would be sent to us in our room. We said okay and moved towards our room. Once in our room, all four of us sat waiting in one room for around 45 mins for the key to the second room. We were not able to unpack because we wanted to unpack in our respective rooms. Tired and hungry, we left the hotel to get ourselves some lunch and some sightseeing, hoping that by the time we return our second room would be ready. When we returned and asked for the key to the second room from the reception desk, we were told that the room that was allocated to us had been now given to someone else -- and we were given some other room that was ”close” to the first room. I understand that asking for adjacent rooms is a mere request and not a right. But had we been given a ”close” room earlier, we could have gotten the keys earlier at the time of check-in! We waited for a room for so long, only for it to be given to someone else. Fast forward to the next morning's breakfast. The spread was quite good and quite diverse in variety. However, again the entire staff at the breakfast looked tense for some reason. And they kept messing up with live counter orders. No one had a smile on, no one welcomed you with warmth, and no one made you feel as if you were staying in a 5-star hotel (which The Lalit considers itself to be). Our entire experience with The Lalit was below par at the very least. It was not the kind of experience you would expect from a branded property that so conveniently calls itself a luxury 5-star property. I honestly feel for the money that I paid, I could and should have gotten a different property and that would have been definitely better. For the foreseeable future, and till things change, I do not see myself staying at any Lalit property.

Es war sehr angenehm Aufenthalt, schön und gemütlich Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens. Jedes Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Zimmer sind extrem gut, in dieser coolen Situation habe ich nur dieses Hotel eine angemessene Sanitärversorgung gesehen. Rezeption Mitarbeiter sehr gut ausgebildet und hilfreich, polit. Essen sind wunderbar. Ich empfehle Ihnen, all diese Unterkunft zu besuchen, wenn Sie Kolkata besuchen. Sie sorgen tatsächlich für den besten Service und komfortablen Aufenthalt. Während meiner Aufenthalte traf ich Herrn Avishek (***Ager der Rezeption ), er ist sehr hilfreich. Ich bin glücklich mit Pipealbaum.

My experience was really awesome! Very friendly ***agement and staff and always welcoming! The senior ***agement made my stay exceptionally good and took personal care.
