Lage ist ok, nur wenige Gehminuten von der Bourbon Street entfernt, aber auch die Entfernung zum French Quarter, aber die Straße in diesen Minuten ist heruntergekommen, man ist alleine etwas nervös, das Hotel selbst ist etwas seltsam, die unteren 8 Stockwerke oder Alle neun Etagen sind alle Parkplätze, das Hotel liegt oberhalb des Parkplatzes. Die Dekoration ist alt und die Zimmer sind ziemlich groß.

The hotel is great but the cost of the room was extremely high. I visit this hotel occasionally and I've never had any complaints until now. I understand there was an event happening the weekend I stayed but the amount of money I paid for the stay should have gotten me all the services offered by the hotel. The valet parking was unavailable which caused a problem for me due to some health conditions. However, the overall stay was good.

I give this hotel 4 stars. My overall experience was really good. The hotel is a 4-5 minute walk to Bourbon St. It's definitely in the heart of the French Quarters. I would have gave 5 stars, but the bathroom door in our hotel room was extremely hard to close. The hotel room itself is small and there are no closets to store your clothes or suitcases.

Es gab eine gebrauchte Seifenbar in der Dusche, als wir ankamen. Das Bett war extrem hart und die Ketten waren sehr weich, es war nicht komfortabel. Als wir ankamen, war das Zimmer warm und das Wasser war warm. Ein Teil der Straße durch unsere erste Dusche war das Wasser kalt und der Heizung arbeitete nicht mehr. Am nächsten Tag war es KOLD draußen und es war absolut kein warmes Wasser, es kam aus einer kalten Dusche und die Luft war sehr kalt. Sie schickten jemanden, um die Probleme zu lösen, und wir hatten heißes Wasser, das wir am Abend hatten. Als wir am Morgen aufwachen, war das Zimmer 79 Grad, obwohl der Heizgerät bei 70 war. Es war sehr heiß. Die Dusche war wieder kalt und es gab braunes Wasser, das durch die Decken über dem Dusch leckte. Die Lage war bequem und die Aussicht auf den Fluss war wirklich schön.

Das Zimmer war ein Brise. Der Kundenservice rep war bei seinem Job ausgezeichnet und hat mir sogar geholfen, Informationen über eine Tour zu erhalten, die ich gebucht hatte. Das Zimmer selbst war scharf oder gut verbraucht und sah und riecht. Die Frau war gut im Bett, das täglich gemacht wurde, aber das Bett selbst war scharf. Es gab Rußsteine im Badezimmer. Um rauchen zu gehen, wird man mit Obdachlosen bombardiert, die Geld oder Zigaretten fordern. Es scheint mehr getan zu haben, um Gäste vor dem Hotel zu schützen, die etwas warten oder nur einen Atem von frischem Luft aus solchen Belästigungen. Ich fand dann heraus, dass es einen Balkon auf der 2. Etage war, wo die Gäste ihre Zigaretten rauchen könnten. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist ausgezeichnet, da es auf der Burbon Street, was eine Behandlung sieht. Die Verbringung von Tagen, um die Stadt zu erkunden und später zum Balkon in den Abenden zu gehen, wurde für mich eine Routine. Das ist bis zu einer Nacht, als ich den Balkon in Richtung des Aufzugs verließ, lief ich auf eine Frau, die durch die Wand auf dem Boden gepflegt wurde, die ein Bild von einer Dame mit einem Stück Papier über ihre Augen hat. Es gab Badezimmer im zweiten Stock, so dass ich nicht verstanden habe, warum sie das tun würde. Ich denke, das spricht mit der Art von Person, die sie ist. Ich wurde verärgert. Wenn das eine Darstellung der Art von Menschen ist, die Zimmer im Astor buchen, dann ist das Hotel nicht für mich! Nein, ich werde nie wieder da bleiben

The hotel was located in a great area. Service was professional and friendly. The dining room for dinner and cocktails was closed; bummer. The breakfast dining was limited. Belgium waffles were their specialty. Lunch items were a couple of soups, a salad, and 2 entrees. The rooms were clean however we had to change rooms due to a constant running toilet. The desk had mentioned compensation but we have not received any this far and we have yet to receive our email receipt.

Wir waren mit der modernen Ausstrahlung unseres Zimmers zufrieden. Viel Platz für meine Familie, die Klimaanlage war zentral, keine Fenstereinheit. Fernsehen/Streaming war ein tolles Feature! Tolle Lage im French Quarter, wo wir alles zu Fuß erreichten, was wir brauchten. Wir haben den Parkplatz direkt gegenüber vom Hotel für 20 Dollar für 24 Stunden genutzt. Sie bieten einen Parkservice und eine weitere Parkmöglichkeit. Da wir jedoch vor unserer Check-in-Zeit dort ankamen und uns bewegen wollten, fuhren wir voraus und parkten dort. Ich wünschte, es gäbe eine frühere Check-in-Zeit. Es war 16-18 Uhr.

Das Rezeptionpersonal und der Bell Man waren überwältigend. Meine Weine wurden leider in meiner Tasche gebrochen und gingen über die Pflicht hinaus, um sicherzustellen, dass alles trocken und sauber war in der Zeit für meinen Flug. Sie gab auch einige wirklich nützliche Tipps für Restaurants in der Nähe, als ich angemeldet bin! Creole House ist sehr nah und lecker. Ich mag die Lage dieses Hotels, Sie könnten zu den meisten Hauptattraktionen bourbon Street ect gehen, aber auch leicht zu bekommen Uber zu Nacht oder wenn es zu heiß war!
