I feel the need to contribute an honest and transparent review. I booked my stay at Greenview - WEEKS PRIOR to falling upon the Tripadvisor reviews for this hotel. I read these overwhelming reviews days before checking in and they had me scared that I was walking myself into a nightmare stay. I decided to make my own mind and stay anyway - and I am glad I did. Upon arrival on a Tuesday morning (10am), the check in staff member was VERY nice and immediately took my bags to hold. March is a busy month in South Beach, so I didn't expect to have a room that early so I planned to do work in the lobby or a coffee shop. This hotel is located right off the Lincoln road mall so I actually decided to post at one of the nearby Starbucks locations. By the time my work was finished it was 2pm and I walked back to the hotel to check on the status of an early check in - and to my surprised my room was ready. I was on second level, #204 - the check in staff ensured I was in a room away from the nearby construction. I held my breath as I walked into my room - and to my great surprise, it was great. The floors are wood, the AC unit was working (blowing cold) and looked fairly new. I don't like cold, so I turned my unit off and didn't need to turn it on the entire stay. The room was like the picture of 2 full beds, same colors on the wall (green/teal). It is a little dim at night - but there was plenty of light and light fixtures to turn on. There was a nice flat screen tv with cable channels. The window was nice and large with a black out blind and sheer curtains. The black out blinds actually caused me to sleep so well the first night I woke up late! The bed is very comfortable, I had plenty of clean linens and pillows. The room was spacious, there was a separate small walk in closet with plenty of shelving, and hanger space as well as a personal safe. The room had a desk, chair and a small fridge. Bathroom was adequate with a spacious step in shower. I had plenty of towels in the bathroom as well as back stocked in the closet. The amenities were premium. Overall the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped. It did not smell - this was my greatest fear from these bad review - as I have an acute sense of smell. I did not have or see any bugs at any time during my stay. Actually, the cleaning staff were ALWAYS working. I woke very early on days to run and so I was in and out the room a lot and I witnessed the cleaning staff constantly cleaning & servicing neighboring rooms. Now was the room and hotel BRAND NEW AND PRISTINE?? There are scratches on the wood flooring, wall paint and furniture - but scratches isn't filth. The tiles in the bathroom aren't brand new - they look to be original to the old construction of the building...but again, cracks and not being new, doesn't mean it's filthy just older. Die Lage des Hotels ist unverbesserlich, da es im Zentrum des Südstrands ist, was sehr einfach zu Fuß zu gehen macht. Im Transport (wenn Sie kein Auto haben) liegt der Bus 120 auf einer Straße und kann Sie sowohl nach NORTH BEACH als auch nach Downtown und Brickell fahren. Hotel mit viel Reinigung, sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Wohnzimmer. Ich rettete die Behandlung der Mitarbeiter VICTOR und AMIN. Für den nächsten Aufenthalt würde ich die Zeit für die Dach- und Pool-Station ändern, da sie nicht nach 20.00 hs Einreise zulassen. Es gab ein Problem beim Check-out, wo es keine Barsicherheitsdepots gab, die wir für das Zimmer hinterlassen hatten, und der AMIN-Beschäftigte bot sich an, es aus seiner Tasche zu setzen, ein sehr wertvolles Akt heute. Außerhalb des Hotels hören man einige Lärme von Disco und Clubs in der Umgebung, aber sie verhindern nichts für den Ruhestand. Das Hotel war im Allgemeinen sehr gut, wir werden sicher zurückkommen.

Buyer beware! It's great that you can pay at the property and all, but the one thing Kimpton Palomar does not tell you in the fine print is that when you give them your CC for ”Authorization” you are actually giving the property the right to charge you when they want, how they want, the amount they want without your knowledge. Upon checking-in, the incompetent receptionist by the name of Daniela failed to inform me that 60% of the security deposit has already been charged to the CC on file and that the balance of the security deposit would be charged immediately after checking in. Afterward, I was charged the full amount of the 3 night stay and asked for the security deposit ($150 per night, totaling $450!) Since I travel often, I always put any security deposits in a separate CC as I know these amounts can take sometimes take weeks to be released back to the card. At this point, the incompetent Daniela should have realized that the security deposit had already been charged, but she insisted on a form of payment. I did as I was instructed and went on my way to the room. A pro-tip: Alway video the room the way you find it so that when the mystery charges appear on your bill, you have proof that you did not do/use/consumed what they claim you did. After arriving in the room, I decided to check my account to make sure the correct payment was charged. To my surprise, I have been charged the security deposit (split into two uneven payments) and the full cost of the room for my entire stay, along with the full security deposit of $450 to my other CC. I went to the lobby where Daniela quickly handed me over the manager on duty, Vinny. Since I am bilingual, I spoke to Vinny in English. He did not realize I understood Spanish, and began asking Daniella what she did wrong and why she did the transaction the way she did. I finally entered the conversation in Spanish and Daniella removed herself and began ”helping” another guest. Vinny took the time to explain the error that Daniela made but never apologized. Daniela in-turn, gives me a side-ways ”I'm Sorry” and goes on her way. After a 10 minute discussion about policies, authorizations, payment, security deposits, etc, Vinny gave me a full refund of the Room Charges and additional security deposit so we can start all over and only pay the room charge. Unfortunately, the ”refund of the Authorization” did not reverse immediately...it took 8 business day for that to occur. I decided to let the refund post onto my account and give it a day. The following day, I see that I am now being charged by the night (since they have my CC on file and can do what they want with it) but the refund is nowhere in sight. I once again speak with Vinny and he tells me that he fixed the mistakes of others and that it is up to the financial institution now and I should contact them directly. I told him I had already spoken with my financial institution and they told me it is up to the merchant to release the refund. I re

Schon immer wollte ich im 'Goldfingerhotel' übernachten, diesmal hat es geklappt. Eine riesige Anlage mit überaus aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern. Allerdings wird der meiste Umsatz wohl mit Tagungen gemacht. Das ist nichts verwerfliches, aber sollte man als 'normaler' Tourist einfach einplanen. Wir hatten das 'Glück' während eines Zahnärztekongress von Freitags bis Dienstags dort zu logieren. Bunga Bunga ab 12 Uhr am Pool, geschwommen wurde nicht, aber dekorative Instagram Fotos darin gemacht. Die zahlreichen Liegen lassen es allerdings zu auch abseits ein halbwegs ruhiges Plätzchen zu finden. Der abseits, nachmittags im Schatten, gelegene Kinderpool lässt es zu das Familien mit sehr kleinen Kindern auf ihre Kosten kommen. Gefrühstückt hatten wir nicht im Hotel, da es durch die Tagung doch zu einem Stau kam.

We highly recommend this hotel for its great location and good price. We chose the hotel because we had been there before some years ago. The rooms are spacious and clean fully equipped with a kitchen. Shops, restaurants and Ocean Drive are just round the corner. It is an adult only hotel, which we liked very much. There has been a lovely breakfast room for some time. We loved breakfast very much because we got all we wanted. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were small misunderstandings due to language but nothing serious. People have written about the high price of valet parking. We disagree with their view and chose the service because parking is expensive in Miami anyway and a lot easier to leave the car just outside. The hotel is a lot more quiet than the area around Ocean Drive. Therefore, we think this is one of the best choices for a hotel in Miami. We will return there anytime.

Das Hotel ist sehr bequem gelegen: direkter Bus vom Flughafen (Bus 150) direkt über die Straße vom Hotel. Es gibt Tonnen von Restaurants von der nebenanen Tür zum Hotel und innerhalb von zehn Minuten links oder rechts vom Hotel. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. und die STAFF (alle) ER EIN GEME. Immer sehr schön, sehr hilfsbereit. Ich kann nicht genug betonen, wie glücklich die Verwaltung ist, so großartig Personal zu haben. Von der Frontdesk bis zur Bar und Carolina und ihre Teamkollega zum Frühstück sind auch nur atemberaubend. Das Hotel ist 1 Block vom Strand: vom Hotelzimmer bis zum Strandstuhl: 4 Minuten. Die Einrichtungen umfassen natürlich das Internet, den Pool, ein sehr gutes Frühstück, Strandhandtücher, Flaschen Wasser (kostenlos) 2 Strandsitze und eine Schattenschirme für ein Zimmer. Und der Strandsitz hat eine Matrix, so ist das super komfortable. Das Zimmer ist wirklich sauber, angenehm, funktionell mit allem, was Sie brauchen. Die Matratze ist sehr komfortabel und so sind die Kissen. Die Schrottgarten sind wirklich sehr geschätzt. Sie können die Klimaanlage auf Ihren eigenen Geschmack einstellen. Alles funktionierte perfekt (d.h. immer eine warme oder kalte Dusche für Sie, jederzeit am Tag oder am Abend) . Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig (was Sie geschätzt, wenn Sie in einer Partystadt ausruhen wollen). Wir haben also 9 Nächte lange genug geblieben, um wirklich eine volle Erfahrung zu haben. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich, um Ihre Gepäckspeicherung vor Ihrem Aufenthalt zu unterstützen. Der gesamte Hotelstil ist Art Deco. Es ist sehr geeignet, Fotos zu machen. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr lecker und der Preis ist auch praktisch. Der Pool ist sehr reichhaltig. Es gibt einen Bar und viele Freizeitplätze. Es gibt einen Kartoffelschrank und ein Fitnessbereich. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut. Die ganze Küche ist exquisit, der Stil ist besonders antiken, die Mädchen werden sehr gerne, die Einrichtungen sind auch sehr komplett, das Bett ist sehr komfortabel, das nächste Mal kommen wir 😆

Wir waren 2 Nächte und hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und Sofabed gebucht. Ich schrieb extra noch in die Buchung: 'Please prepare sofabed'. Leider war es nicht vorbereitet zum Schlafen. Die Checkin Dame hat uns widerwillig Bettzeugs in die Hand gedrückt. Wir haben sie beim spielen mit dem Smartphone und Chips essen gestört. Als wir draufkamen, dass das Leintuch immer noch fehlt hat sie uns das mit sehr vorwurfsvollen Blicken ausgehändigt. Zwischenreinigung fehlt auch. Das ist ungut nach einem Strandbesuch. Zudem muss man sich dann Toilettenpapier besorgen. Lage gut. Service schlecht.

Das Hotel liegt nahe der Meeresgrenze, kann zu Fuß eine Geschäftsstraße und eine spanische Straße erreichen. Wenn Sie nach Havana und Haiti und Designer Street gehen, fahren Sie 20 Minuten. Wir sind früh, die Rezeption-Frauen helfen uns zuerst das Gepäck zu speichern, und wir gehen aus und spielen. Die Tage, die wir im Hotel haben, sind ein hundert Jahre lang nicht zu spüren, also benutzen wir nicht den schönen Pool oben! Erinnern Sie sich an die Rezeption, um die Strandbäder zu erfahren, die sie kostenlos bieten und die Strandbäder am Samstagmorgen! Die Fitness-Stufe wird mit einem anderen Schwesterhotel 20 Messer einmal verwendet. Das Hotel hat auch Probleme. Nach unserem Aufenthalt fanden wir, dass das Fernsehen völlig kaputt ist, und denken Sie daran, dass wir nicht viel Fernsehen sehen, also wechseln wir nicht das Zimmer (keine Zimmer wechseln können, voll!). Die Personalservice-Einstellung ist sehr professionell.

Eine zweite Nacht im Hotelzimmer am selben Tag über trip.com reserviert, weil es günstiger war als bei der Unterkunft zu bezahlen! Aber ich werde wieder bleiben, es ist komfortable und gemütliche Zimmer mit einem großen Bett und schönem Personal. Leider gibt es kein Frühstück aufgrund von Covid, aber es gibt eine Station für Kaffee, Tee und Wasser.

The Room condition was old. Room floor was not really clean. My room is double bed room, it’s no table and chair. There is no plug location, so I need to move the bed to find the charging location.

Wir haben drei Nächte zum Abschluss unserer Reise im Park Royal verbracht. Das Hotel bietet kostenpflichtige Parkmöglichkeiten, wir haben unseren Mietwagen aber bereits vorher abgegeben und konnten in Miami Beach gut ohne auskommen. Wir hatten eine Suite im Erdgeschoss. Sie war modern und attraktiv ausgestattet, sauber und hatte eine vollständig eingerichtete Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Suite hatte zwei Ausgänge. Am hinteren Ausgang standen zwei Stühle mit kleinem Tisch. In den oberen Etage haben die Zimmer z. T. Balkone. Der Außenbereich war sehr gepflegt und schön gestaltet mit schönem Pool und vielen Palmen. Auch hier gab es einige Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Mitarbeiter ware alle sehr freundlich. Das Hotel verlangt eine Resortgebühr. Je nachdem, wo man bucht, sollte man prüfen, wie hoch der Gesamtpreis ist. Der Strand ist kaum 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und wirklich sehr schön. Mit der Resortgebühr sind zwei Liegen am Strand inklusive. Ein Schirm dazu kostet $15 Miete. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Geschäfte und Restaurants. Einen Publix-Supermarkt erreicht man in ca. 10 Gehminuten. Nach South sind wir mit dem kostenlosen Trolley-Bus gefahren. Diesen kann man bis zur Einkaufsstraße ”Lincoln Road” nehmen. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder!

Der einzige Grund, warum ich das Hotel 3/5 für den Service gegeben habe, war der Lärm, den das Personal morgens machen würde. Die Zimmer erheben Lärm im zweiten Stock von der Halle sehr gut. So konnte ich das Personal hören, das einen Sturm, die Öffnung und Schließung von Türen usw. aus meinem Zimmer laut chattete. Neben diesem, der Frontdesk war erstaunlich, so war der Türmann. Alle und alles andere im Besitz war großartig. Lage war erstaunlich!

I feel the need to contribute an honest and transparent review. I booked my stay at Greenview - WEEKS PRIOR to falling upon the Tripadvisor reviews for this hotel. I read these overwhelming reviews days before checking in and they had me scared that I was walking myself into a nightmare stay. I decided to make my own mind and stay anyway - and I am glad I did. Upon arrival on a Tuesday morning (10am), the check in staff member was VERY nice and immediately took my bags to hold. March is a busy month in South Beach, so I didn't expect to have a room that early so I planned to do work in the lobby or a coffee shop. This hotel is located right off the Lincoln road mall so I actually decided to post at one of the nearby Starbucks locations. By the time my work was finished it was 2pm and I walked back to the hotel to check on the status of an early check in - and to my surprised my room was ready. I was on second level, #204 - the check in staff ensured I was in a room away from the nearby construction. I held my breath as I walked into my room - and to my great surprise, it was great. The floors are wood, the AC unit was working (blowing cold) and looked fairly new. I don't like cold, so I turned my unit off and didn't need to turn it on the entire stay. The room was like the picture of 2 full beds, same colors on the wall (green/teal). It is a little dim at night - but there was plenty of light and light fixtures to turn on. There was a nice flat screen tv with cable channels. The window was nice and large with a black out blind and sheer curtains. The black out blinds actually caused me to sleep so well the first night I woke up late! The bed is very comfortable, I had plenty of clean linens and pillows. The room was spacious, there was a separate small walk in closet with plenty of shelving, and hanger space as well as a personal safe. The room had a desk, chair and a small fridge. Bathroom was adequate with a spacious step in shower. I had plenty of towels in the bathroom as well as back stocked in the closet. The amenities were premium. Overall the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped. It did not smell - this was my greatest fear from these bad review - as I have an acute sense of smell. I did not have or see any bugs at any time during my stay. Actually, the cleaning staff were ALWAYS working. I woke very early on days to run and so I was in and out the room a lot and I witnessed the cleaning staff constantly cleaning & servicing neighboring rooms. Now was the room and hotel BRAND NEW AND PRISTINE?? There are scratches on the wood flooring, wall paint and furniture - but scratches isn't filth. The tiles in the bathroom aren't brand new - they look to be original to the old construction of the building...but again, cracks and not being new, doesn't mean it's filthy just older. Город очень большой и пляж протяженный, так что советую сразу арендовать себе авто если выбираете данный отель, иначе отдых будет только на пляже, расстояния от данного отеля до всего остального очень большие. Персонал очень приветливый, сам отель небольшой, внутри отеля есть ресторан, судя по отзывам очень хороший. Если у вас окна выходят на дорогу - по ночам будет шумно от машин, которые ездят с громким выхлопом или музыкой, советую учесть это заранее.

Budget-Immobilie mitten in Middle Beach. Von hier aus können Sie mit dem Auto bequem jeden Punkt der Stadt erreichen. Ich würde sagen mehr als genug Zimmer mit zentraler Klimaanlage (leider nicht regulierbar), WLAN, Kühlschrank, großem Fenster und eigenem Bad. Es gibt auch einen veralteten, aber funktionierenden Aufzug. Kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz in der Nähe der Unterkunft. Zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal. Wenn wir die Preise berücksichtigen, die in Miami gelten, würde ich sagen, dass ich mehr als zufrieden bin.

Es gibt kein Frühstück im Hotel. Unten ist die U-Bahn. Es ist sehr nah am Strand. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle, um nach Norden zum Südstrand zu fahren. Es stehen Busse auf dem Bus 2,25 Messer zum Wechseln bereit. Gute Lage. Auch das Einkaufen ist sehr bequem.

The beds are horribly uncomfortable and noisy due to a thick clear tarpaulin type sheet they have put between the mattress and bed base. It's a horrible sound moving about and makes you feel very uncomfortable. Hotel is very old so has a very old air conditioning system and plumbing. We had a room with a view of Ocean Drive to start with which was a nice view but very noisy due to thin old windows. However on our second day at the hotel, we flushed the toilet and a pipe at the back of the toilet burst and flooded the bathroom. We called reception with urgency and they said 'can you put some towels down'. We said we didn't think they understood, that we'd put all of the towels down but that the water was continuing to flood. The water flowed over the towels and into our room and the hotel corridor. We called reception again and were told they could give us some extra towels at reception and that there was a plunger at the end of the corridor. I went to reception who gave me two beach towels and said that's all they had. I asked if someone could come and help as the room was flooded and they said 'we don't have anyone on maintenance today, but we can give you a mop and move you rooms...' We ended up trying to mop up all the corridors toilet water ourselves with towels before moving rooms. It was really upsetting that nobody came to help us. Another issue with the hotel is the lack of parking. On booking.com it says parking available on site/nearby at a cost. The valet company is not connected to the hotel but important to know if you're staying here and have a decided to park with the valet out front and were told it was being parked on site and would cost $120 for 3 nights parking. We agreed for convenience. When going on a boat tour of miami on our 3rd day, we were picked up from a neighbouring street and spotted our car parked on the street. We were fuming and went to the car and noticed not only was it parked on the street when told it was on site and off road but they hadn't paid parking for it and it had a parking fine! We approached the valet and they said they'd pay the fine and put it in the parking lot. Thankfully having moved rooms we could see now they did park it on-site after 2 days of it having been left in the road. When collecting our car, the valet said he'd paid the fine. I'd taken a picture of the ticket, checked on the Miami-Dade parking fine website and he had lied and it hadnt been paid. We argued with the valet for a long while whilst he argued we had to pay the full $120 and he would pay the fine but he wasn't doing so. He then said we had to pay and then he would pay the fine. We said no as he'd already lied about parking it. He then threatened to call the police and tried to drive off with our hire car. Honestly it was awful and he was such a horrible man (Elijia or something). Ich wollte eine Nacht in Miami Beach verbringen. Niedriger Haushalt in einem Hostel, Coz ich wäre die Türen die meisten der Zeit. Ich war in 100 S von Hostel Reisen rund um die Welt So habe ich nicht die kleinen Briefe gelesen, coz die meisten Hostels sind leichte Peassy-Kühl und flexible Ich komme in diesem Hostel an der Rezeption , Ich hatte meine Buchung mit PayPal wie immer gezahlt . Sie sagen mir, dass es eine 20-Dollar-Einlage auf einer Kredit- oder Debitkarte zu zahlen gibt. Ich habe ein niederländisches Konto und eine Visa Pay-Debitkarte aus meinem Heimatland, aber obwohl es eine bekannte Bank in Europa ist, und überall in Europa ist es akzeptiert, und sogar in Mexiko und Kolumbien. Es ist nicht in den USA akzeptiert. Ich konnte also nicht für die Einzahlung zahlen, und sie würden nicht Bargeld akzeptieren, also musste ich die Reservierung stornieren und auch sie war nicht zurückzahlbar. Ehrlich gesagt, es war ein sehr grundlegender Gastgeber, mit nichts von großem Wert. Warum sind die Gäste dennoch so Demolations in Miami Beach ? Und sollte ein Hostel oder Hotel nicht durch Schadensversicherung abgedeckt werden? Coz Ich sehe das in anderen Unterkünften nur bislang in Miami Luxury Hotels, die eine Einzahlung von 500 $ beantragen, wenn Sie dort bleiben? Es ist ein Blowing, Ich habe nie um eine Einzahlung in meinem Leben gebeten Auch das seltsamste, würden sie bei der Rezeption im Bed and Drink Hostel für eine Rückkehr oder nachher Fahrkarte verlassen das Land.Wenn Sie nicht beweisen, dass , Ihr Aufenthalt wird abgesagt Für Sicherheitsgründe machen sie das Ding auf oder was? ! Unterhalb der Linie, wenn sie auf Einlagen bestehen, sollten sie zumindest einen Terminal haben, der ALL Karten akzeptiert, Miami ist eine Multi-Internationale Stadt und sollten mehr Zahlungsoptionen haben. Obwohl ich immer noch denke, es ist ein Weg aus der Linie, die Gäste für Einlagen zu fragen, ist es Diskriminierung. Es macht mich sehr verdächtig, über das, was mit all diesen ” Einlagen ” Geld getan wird. Ich hoffe, sie spielen nicht mit dem auf den Aktienmärkten oder Kryptowährung ...... Redefreiheit

Die zentrale Lage direkt am Ocean Drive im Art Deco District (dementsprechend auch der Preis), Liegestühle am Strand inklusive. Wir haben einmal im Hotelrestaurant gefrühstückt - es war ausgezeichnet. Die Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich im Design, die Betten bequem, die Dusche hat ausreichend Wasserdruck. Viele Essensmöglichkeiten und Lokale rund ums Hotel. Wir würden wieder dort wohnen. Besonders nett fanden wir den kubanischen Kellner am Abend, der ums einen ausgezeichneten Cappuccino serviert hat! Die Fenster lassen sich schwer öffnen, Klimaanlagengeräusche rund um uns.
