Seacoast Suites on Miami Beach

Wir verbrachten drei Nächte in einer Suite mit mehreren Schlafzimmern und zwei kompletten Badezimmern. Sauberkeit ist uns am wichtigsten und dafür gibt es eine 1+. Die Einrichtung war schön, aber die Suiten könnten eine Erneuerung gebrauchen. Wir hatten einen tollen Balkon mit Blick auf Indian Creek und die Lage war perfekt.

We spent a week at Seacoast from January 6-13th. After a brisk check-in, we settled into our room (2 bedroom, ocean view with kitchen) The hotel itself is in relatively good condition, our room was clean and met our need (5ppl) however, we were surprised that there was no daily housekeeping service - this was never mentioned anywhere in the booking process. When we asked for towels, toilet paper and blankets they were provided. Our toilet had a slow leak the entire time. The direct access to the beach was wonderful, we received our towels no problem in exchange for the card, however the limit to 2 chairs per family on the beach was not impressive. There was plenty of empty chairs, this was not high season, we feel we could have been accommodated, we saw other hotels down the beach, they provided parasols as well at no extra charge. For the amount we were charged per night, we feel this should have been included. The pool - great lounging around it, pool was clean, but the lounging pillows had mildew perhaps its time to switch out the old ones. The gym - hours of operation - ridiculous. 7-11 am, 6-9pm. Most of the equipment was damaged or not in functioning order. Basic dumbbell weights (5lbs, 10lbs) were also missing. Elevators - not working, or slow. 20 minute wait at times - ridiculous. Tropical lounge - Excellent food, service, Lores is a gem. Overall our stay was pleasant, relaxation, beach, family time was had. Free trolley stop right in front of hotel is great.

All the reviews here are all correct. Our room was big and comfortable. However when we arrived we were greeted by a nonchalant staff behind the counter. During our stay - Our couch broke. The first night we needed extra bedding we were told it was too late. Too bad. We would Have to wait until morning. Our kitchen faucet dripped. Our toilet ran. We were told the day before we left we couldn’t leave the balcony door open because of condensation concerns even though the ocean breeze was the best part. The instructions for the washing machine and dryer are wrong. You need to download an app that no one tells you about. (The machines work great though). All in all, our family enjoyed our stay but for the $$ you spend you kind of hope for a better experience.

The restaurants on the property, As advertised as amenities, were either not open at all. Or open enclosed when they felt like it. Louie’s at the palm was not open our entire stay from 12/22 thru 1/2. Nor was there any communication or advertisement, showing the restaurant would not be available, at any time. The tropical lounge opens and closes when it’s convenient for them. And, has only one person waiting tables and cashing customers out, and a cook. This not only impacts people being able to have breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant as advertised but it also impacts people being able to order room service. When they are opened, they do not have the full menu. There are three maybe four options for toast on the menu. The actual only option is white toast. There are options for bagels however, the only option is and everything bagel, no English muffins! I know this sounds pretentious, but this is an example. Room service was available on January 1. There was no housekeeping. You could not get toilet paper, facial tissue sheets or face clothes without begging for them. There were no cleaning supplies in the kitchen or bathrooms. The same employees are there most of the time. They are so overworked that they are overwhelmed. A few of them were wonderful. The security lady treats guests as if they’re in corrections. It is not worth the money to stay there if you’re looking for all of the amenities that they’re offering.

The location, beach, and room size were great. However, the hotel had some issues such as requiring an early check-out at 10:00 am, intrusive reminders when you're asleep, a $40 charge for a dirty and scary parking area, slow service with the service elevator( we waited 15 minutes for elevators because they did not let us to use normal elevator because we have suitcases) , unfriendly employees, a $20 fee for a lost beach towel ticket, an unheated pool, and problematic Wi-Fi that required frequent logins. I believe there may be a management problem affecting both customers and employees' satisfaction.

No exhaust in whole building, bedroom not cleaned enough. Found a dirty baby bottle behind the bed. Bathroom too small. Perfect location, beach front

Three of us stayed and we were only entitled to two chairs on the beach, the third costs $15 USD per use. The pickle ball courts were broken we got told. They looked perfect From our balcony. No one to clean your room or remake beds or take out your garbage for 7 days

The hotel itself had beautiful views. The rooms were very minimal, not even extra blankets or pillows. Broken chair on the deck, coffee pot that leaked, shower didn’t drain well The people at the front desk acted like we were bothering them when we checked in. Didn’t even get out of their seats to talk to us The young kid who handled our luggage was very nice
