Am Tag des Eincheckens kam ich sehr spät an und sagte, ich wolle ein ruhiges Zimmer, also wurde ich in die innerste Ecke geschickt. Als ich die Tür sah, waren die Vorhänge nicht fest genug und ich fühlte, dass es noch schlimmer war. Ich bat darum, das Zimmer zu wechseln. Glücklicherweise war das Wechseln des Zimmers ziemlich schnell, aber das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss wurde geändert, da sich auf dem Balkon im zweiten Stock ein Block befand, sodass die Beleuchtung überhaupt nicht gut war. Die drei Mahlzeiten, die ich aß, hatten keinen Tag, da das Frühstück um 10 Uhr endete. Das Mittag- und Abendessen war ähnlich und es gab nichts zu essen außer dem gegrillten Fisch und keinen Meeresfrüchten. Die Bilder täuschten. Es gibt einige Orte zum Spielen, aber das Wasser in einem anderen Pool mit Rutsche ist kalt, sodass es nur angezeigt werden kann.

Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family

Great resort for active families who like their sports. Includes paddle ball, full size football pitchel, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and lots of aqua activities. Good gym & indoor pool. Heated outdoor pool as well as a number of other outdoor pools. Includes VR/ gaming and arcades. Variety of entertainment. Lovely aqua park and water ropes course included for over 150cm people. The lobby bar is brilliant for coffee and amazing bakery. Also great for watching football. Rooms are large, modern and well equipped. Food is varied. Nice choice of non - veg like king prawns, smoked salmon, chicken kebabs, turkey steaks but can get repetitive after a few days. All inclusive drinks are good. Free shuttle bus to Medina is useful. 30 minutes away. Negative points is mainly really poor customer service, bad communication and some rude staff! Not 5 star service or attitudes! Sehr wertvolles Hotel, kann als ein heißer Moment der gesamten Reise nach Marokko gesagt werden. Jedes Zimmer ist ein unabhängiges Riad-Zimmer. Der Service ist freundlich, aber leidenschaftlich. Neben der allgemeinen Mahlzeit kann die Umgebung nicht provokierend sein. Maraguash ist im Allgemeinen ziemlich schmutzig. Es gibt zwei Welten im Hotel und außerhalb des Hotels. Wenn Sie das nächste Mal wieder in Maraguash kommen, dann bedenken Sie immer noch, hier zu leben!

Travelled during ending Feb. Very cheap affordable hotel. Booked for 2nights -£95. Staff allowed us to extend check out time to late for free. About 15-20mins from city centre Has multiple outdoor pools for adults and children. Have children play area . Outdoor gym and indoor gym, tennis court and basketball court. Very decent hotel .

Alles ist gut verbracht, sehr gut gelegen kleine Familienwoche Hotel zu beraten für Ihren Aufenthalt in Marrakesch.

Das Grand Mogador Menara ist seinen 5 Sternen (Länderbewertung) völlig gerecht geworden. Das Zimmer Deluxe war wie Neu und es fehlte an nichts. Der Zimmerservice und die Reinigung war sehr zufriedenstellend. Bestimmt werde ich das Hotel bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Marrakech wieder buchen

Meine erste Zeit für mich und meine Frau mit den 2 Kindern, um All inclusive Hotel zu versuchen. Dies dient der hervorragenden Dienstleistung, die Ihr freundliches Hotelpersonal während unseres Aufenthalts vom 5. Februar bis 9. Februar 2025 erbracht hat. Die Zimmer wurden mit Mühe und Erleichterung an die Ankunft angestellt. Die Super-Facilities beginnen von Warm Schwimmbad, Aqua Park, Fußballfeld, Tennisplatz, Basketballplatz, Mini Golf, Tischtennis, Kinderspielplatz. Und auch ein Applaus für alle Unterhaltungsteams. Die Kammermädchen machten und hervorragende Arbeit, um sicherzustellen, dass die Zimmer in Ordnung und sauber waren. Zusätzlich waren die Frühstücksbuffets, Mittagessen, Abendessen und Snackzeiten sehr düster, da wir eine herzliche Zeit in der Reihe von Sorten verbringen. Danke, wir werden sicher zurück zu diesem Hotel kommen.

Um die traditionelle marokkanische Kultur und die Lebensweise im Allgemeinen zu erleben... hier zu bleiben ist ein schöner Anfang. 😊
