Neben dem Terminal T5 gibt es eine Tankstelle und einen kleinen Supermarkt gegenüber. Es ist relativ bequem, die Stadt morgens zu verlassen, und es wird nicht zu voll sein. Es ist eine Autostunde von der Stadt entfernt und viele Reisegruppen entscheiden sich für einen Aufenthalt hier. Das Zimmer ist sehr durchschnittlich. Bei der Buchung wurde gezeigt, dass es einen kleinen Kühlschrank gibt, aber tatsächlich ist dieser nicht vorhanden! Wir checkten bei meiner Tochter ein, aber unerwartet wurde uns ein Zustellbett gegeben. Die Klimaanlage durfte nicht heiß sein, daher war die Steppdecke auf dem Zustellbett praktisch. Das Wasser im Badezimmer lief sehr langsam ab, bevor ich mit dem Baden fertig war. Mineralwasser, Hausschuhe und Toilettenartikel sind im Zimmer nicht vorhanden. Sie müssen Ihren eigenen Adapter für die Steckdose im Zimmer mitbringen. Neben dem Waschbecken befindet sich eine Steckdose, die mit Ladesteckern für Apple-Handys verwendet werden kann. In der Nähe des Waschbeckens besteht Angst vor Wasser. Achten Sie daher bitte auf die Sicherheit wenn man es benutzt! Das Frühstück kann man nur als sättigend bezeichnen. Ob es schmeckt oder nicht, hängt vom persönlichen Geschmack ab. Die Frühstückszeit ist von 6:30 bis 10:30 Uhr.

Wir bleiben immer hier, aber an dieser Gelegenheit war ich nicht sehr glücklich, als die Bettwäsche/Schmelzkasse schmelzte Dampf. Und die Tür hängte los, was es unsicher machte. Zimmer wurde am Ende ausgetauscht, so bin ich glücklich darüber.

Lovely hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful - they kindly let us check in 2 and a half hours early as our rooms were ready which was very kind. However, there were some issues: terrible signal (but there is free wifi so not too bad); we paid for buffet dinner and it was not good, do not recommend at all; the cleaning staff knocked on my door at 9:45am shocked that I was still in my room (checkout is 11:00am) then asked when I was leaving (felt inappropriate and that I was being rushed as she was waiting at the end of the hallway for us to leave); lights in the room were very weak; the shower took over 5 mins for water to turn on and was not strong (not ideal was washing long hair). My family an I would not choose to stay here again unfortunately as there are many other hotels in the area for similar price. Windsor was lovely (would visit again) but there is nothing to do in old Windsor or anything near the hotel, so you are reliant on the hotel or uber.

Die Zimmer sind ordentlich. Das Design ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber funktional und sauber. Die Klimaanlage kühlt gut, was ein Pluspunkt ist. Ein Föhn ist auch super! Zumindest für mich! 😅 Der Service war hervorragend. Die Angestellten waren sehr nett! Und Kinder unter 12 Jahren essen kostenlos (Buffet), egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier zu einem erschwinglichen Preis sehr genossen!

First receptionist we dealt with was really nice but then she had to ask a colleague for help with our check in and she was extremely rude. Having booked an executive room, we were told we didnt get access to the executive lounge as hadn't booked direct. Load of rubbish. Went to our room, quick call to Hilton Customer Care and they confirmed we did have executive lounge access so went back to reception. The hotel is really comfortable, big spacious rooms, nice beds, bathrooms with shower and bath. Water wasn't free even in executive rooms which was a bit of a shock (£2.50 a bottle). Executive lounge was nice but service much cut back from last time I stayed at few years ago. Fridges empty most of the day, snacks not topped up. Dirty cups everywhere etc. Evening snacks was good but again, reduced compared to what they used to offer. Spirits and prosecco was a nice touch though. Breakfast served in the restaurant for executive room guests. Really nice selection, mostly buffet but eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Nice coffee. Staff on the whole are really friendly and welcoming (apart from the receptionist on day one). We had 3 nights here and enjoyed it. There is a shuttle bus from terminal 5 to the hotel door which is £6.80 per person or you can take bus number 5 which stops on the road outside the hotel for £1.50. If staying more than one night, there is buses to Windsor, legoland, Slough and hounslow (for the tube to central london).

Großes Hotel mit sehr komfortablen Betten, großen Duschen und Fenstern, die für frische Luft geöffnet sind. Das Personal ist wunderbar hilfreich und professionell. Der Park ist groß mit vielen Räumen. Es gibt einen Supermarkt auf der Straße, einen Nachrichtenagenten und einen Chip-Shop. Es gibt auch eine kleine Fitness-Site, die ein zusätzlicher Bonus ist.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The facilities were well-maintained, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall service was of a very high standard. I would especially like to commend Kiran at reception for her outstanding professionalism and support. She ensured that our check-in process was seamless and efficient, addressing everything with a warm and courteous approach. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service truly enhanced our stay. Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

A Wonderful Stay at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel We recently stayed in the Windsor House section of the hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness stood out immediately — everything from the bed to the bathroom was spotless, making it feel like a true home away from home. It’s rare to feel so comfortable using hotel facilities without hesitation, but this room was truly impeccable. The location is ideal — just by the riverside and within easy walking distance of Windsor & Eton Riverside Station, Côte Brasserie, and the boat tours. Windsor Castle is only a pleasant 15-minute walk away, making it perfect for sightseeing. The service throughout our stay was excellent. From the warm welcome at reception to the helpful and friendly cleaning staff, every interaction felt genuinely caring and professional. Our stay included breakfast, which was a generous British buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold options, including pastries, fresh fruit, and more. There were plenty of drink choices with refills available, and the coffee was lovely — a great way to start the day. In conclusion, we highly recommend the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel. We were extremely pleased with our experience and will definitely be returning in the future.

Vermutlich das beste Hotel, das wir jedes Wochenende in der Arbeit geblieben haben und wir jeden Wochenende in einem Freizeithotel bleiben, alle Marken neu, Jacuzzi war unreal, Dampfraum hätte warmer sein können, Sauna war 100c, was schön war, nie gesehen, dass heiß, Das Zimmer hatte aircondition, das Frühstücksbuffet war schön, sehr sauber Hotel.

Novotel Reading Centre is located in the heart of Reading, with convenient access to food, accommodation, and transportation. It is a 3-minute walk to the train station and a 3-minute walk to museums, parks, monasteries, and supermarkets. The front desk service is very friendly, and the swimming pool and gym are open normally from 10:00-22:00 every day. We are responsible for cleaning our floors very seriously and clean the rooms on time every day! Everyone gathers together at the bar downstairs every night to watch the World Cup, it's very happy!
