I just needed to stay overnight for the ease of being close to the train station! But knowing liege I can say that you’d easily get into city center or park de la boverie and obviously being next to the train station is a plus. It is a very modern hostel and on the very high end when it comes to value/price. Most other places i’ve looked at are heavily overpriced! Each bed has a set of curtains and connectivity plugs and a lamp. The super plus is the huge locker associated to your bed for which you do not need your own lock put just the keycard. Everything was clean. I only had one person sharing the room with me but would expect a little bit of a queue for toilet/shower in the morning with 8 people for one

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, das Zimmer war auch schön, aber die durchsichtige Tür zur Dusche kann etwas unangenehm sein, wenn man nicht zu zweit reist – eine transparente Folie über der Tür lässt sich leicht lösen. Der Service war gut, aber das Gepäck wird in einem für jedermann zugänglichen Flur aufbewahrt, was sich nicht sicher anfühlt. Auf meine Anfrage hin wurde es in ein geschlossenes Hinterzimmer gestellt, aber es wäre besser, wenn das Standard wäre.

Hotel de la Couronne Liege is right in front of Gare de Liege Guillemins and just next to the Flixbus stop, so if you're just dropping by Liege, the location is perfect. There's a Carrefour Express next door and a Burger King. Gare de Liege Guillemins and the hotel are somewhat far from the museums and historical locations but the city area/Liege is so small and navigable that it's not a big deal. Couronne hotel is one of those rare European boutique hotels that still maintain comfortably sized rooms. Rooms at this price range are often quite small (even in newer European and Asian 3-star hotels) so that's a plus. Couronne is no frills (no coffee, tea, minibar, etc) but the beds and bath are clean and comfortable. Plus, there's a nice airy salon on the first floor where those staying at the hotel can sit and lounge around. There are plenty of fry-ups, a great Japanese restaurant (Nagoya), and an Aldi close by. I had a bad allergy on my second night and the staff at 1 am were helpful despite my limited French. I'm not the best at picking hotels, but Hotel de la Couronne was a good choice for my two nights.

Sehr wirtschaftliches Hotel mit perfekter geografischer Umgebung, in zehn Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof Midi zu gelangen, ist sein größter Vorteil. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett und half mir, einige Mietwageninformationen kostenlos auszudrucken.

Eines der besten Hotels vor Ort, mit ausgezeichneter Lage. Zimmer mit Aussicht sind allerdings aufpreispflichtig. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Eine asiatische Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war extrem unprofessionell und respektlos gegenüber den Gästen, stets mit mürrischer Miene. Man sollte ihren 'Service' besser meiden. Die anderen weißen Rezeptionsmitarbeiterinnen hingegen waren sehr professionell, hilfsbereit und äußerst gewissenhaft.

Helpful reception personnel and overall a pleasant stay. Good shower and nice clean rooms. The sleeping couch was not so fine to sleep on but overall good. Breakfast was outstanding. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not included in the room price. Opening hours 8-22 was in my opinion too late to open in the morning.

Dies ist eine große Herberge, etwa 40 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Wir haben keinen Bus benutzt, sind aber nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Bushaltestelle Baviere entfernt. Ich war nett, weil ich mir per E-Mail sagte, wie ich zum Hostel komme. Ich kann es Selbstversorgern empfehlen, da ich eine Küche mit Frühstück habe.

Luik is a wonderful city and this hotel is a great place to stay. The breakfast is very much worth the price. The wellness is also a nice extra. Staff is very friendly. Easy walk to centre and restaurants. Recommend!

Großes Hotel mit freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Die Betten sind riesig und komfortabel. Bar/soziales Gebiet ist schön und die Frühstücksqualität ist ziemlich gut. Allerdings ist das Frühstücksgebiet am Wochenende zu klein, wenn jeder um 9:30 Uhr zum Buffet klingelt.
