Dies ist eines der neuesten Hotels in Ipoh. Die Fassade ist luxuriös und die Lobby imposant. Die Zimmer hingegen sind recht abgewohnt, vergleichbar mit einem Budgethotel wie dem Home Inn in China, vielleicht sogar noch schlechter als das Atour Hotel. Der Preis von über 700 RMB pro Nacht ist dafür nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig; auf dem Nachttisch und den Laken befanden sich Haare. Die Schalldämmung ist mangelhaft; unter der Tür klafft ein großer Spalt, durch den man die Schritte und Gespräche im Flur deutlich hören kann. Der Außenpool ist groß und bietet eine schöne Aussicht. Die Lage ist gut, ganz in der Nähe der Concubine Lane, mit einem 7-Eleven nur 100 Meter entfernt und einem Durian-Stand (köstlich und günstig) in sieben Minuten zu Fuß. Der Service an der Rezeption ist schnell und das Personal ausreichend.

Had a good stay at Grand Court Hotel. The location is quiet with easy access to many tourist spots and local food. While the hotel is a bit dated and could use some upgrading, the overall experience was great!

Charming Boutique Stay in the Heart of Ipoh. A lovely boutique hotel beautifully furnished and centrally located in Ipoh. We especially enjoyed the cozy lobby and its charming Art Deco touches. Rooms are limited, so it’s best to book early, particularly during holidays and festive seasons. We stayed in a duplex room, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The room was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, including a hair dryer, slippers, a filtered water dispenser, a Nespresso coffee machine, and disposable toiletries—more than what you’d typically expect from many hotels. Breakfast was very decent, with made-to-order options such as Western dishes or local nasi lemak. There are also plenty of local coffee shops and eateries nearby if you’d like to explore other breakfast choices. The hotel’s location is a major plus. It’s within walking distance of popular Ipoh attractions like Concubine Lane, Memory Lane Market, and Mural Art’s Lane, as well as the famous Lao Wang beansprout chicken. There are also numerous food options around, and it’s just across from Palo 101, a trendy spot popular with youngsters and a regular venue for New Year’s countdown celebrations. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay in Ipoh.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt gut. Es ist wirklich nah an der Natur. Und es gibt ein paar sportliche Aktivitäten. Allerdings ist das Restaurant nicht wirklich mit 5 Sternen bewertet. Das Frühstück wird im Freien serviert und bietet eine begrenzte Auswahl an Speisen. Es ist wie ein normales Buffet. Bogenschießen ist nicht verfügbar. Wenn Sie den Komfort eines 5-Sterne-Hotels suchen, ist dieses Hotel das nicht wert. Es ist wahrscheinlich wie in einem Serviced Apartment.

A beautiful and peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat offers breathtaking scenery, privacy, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The villa was elegant and comfortable, and the hot spring facilities were exceptional. What made the stay even better was the staff — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Highly recommended.

The hotel located at the busy road area but the moment you enter the hotel it feels like you're entering the whole new world. The chill ambient, cozy and warm atmosphere occupied the whole parameters. Staff are superb especially the front desk - Kaushilliya. The room offers generous amount of amenities and you won't miss out the excitement. The cons i noticed is just that the gym were close. Kudos to the hotel management and surely will back here on the very next trip to Ipoh.

The rooms are clean, beds, pillows are comfortable. The hotel is located together with the Taiping Mall and a short walk away to the Larut Matang market. I booked 2 connecting rooms. I called to the hotel to ask if they have connecting room, and they told me to book premier rooms as only premier rooms have connecting room. I booked as per advised and also put a remark that I want connecting rooms. Upon check-in, the receptionist told us the rooms are not available. I questioned them why they asked us to book premier rooms and now telling us not available? If the rooms are not available I could have book the standard room instead. After I questioned them only they gave us the connecting rooms. I think they may not want to give us the connecting rooms if we do not insist.

It was an alright stay. Bathroom is really spacious, bedroom is weirdly shaped due to being a corner unit but acceptable. Basic bathroom amenities are there, limited TV channels. Lift and the entire of 2nd floor and room did smell of cigarettes when I checked in, and it was a bit off putting. I try not to look too much into the details such as peeling wallpapers and A/C that doesn't work as regularly as it should (sometimes cold, most of the time just OK despite no changes in the temperature settings). Location was superb. It's a short drive to pretty much everywhere I need to access during my business trip, so that's a plus. For it's price, I can't complain much. But if I'm particular, topping up a little bit more could get me a more recently renovated hotel (C***tel) with equally accessible location.

Die Landschaft ist unschlagbar, Sie können jeden Tag den Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang beobachten, die Einrichtungen des Resorts sind sehr umfangreich, Sie können es vier Tage lang genießen, ohne auszugehen Das Frühstücksrestaurant bietet Meerblick und eine große Auswahl. Es gibt auch ein Spa-Center. Ich komme beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder!

Cannot remember how many times we have repeat this hotel when going to Lumut. Location is strategic..breakfast got so many choices and delicious..view from our room also great..staff are also polite ang friendly..surely will repeat if we manage to come here again.
