Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The hotel and the surrounding are stunning, the staff is super friendly and the facilities could not have been better. Upon our arrival, our rental car had a flat tyre and the staff was so helpful and fixed this for us immediately. As travellers from Europe this is an excellent service which is so helpful when you do not speak the local language to communicate with for instance the people at the garage. Additionally, we received a free upgrade of our hotel room from the lake villa to the garden villa, for two nights in a row. This villa with private pool and garden is stunning. All the caves and the surrounding facilities are so impressive and nature and luxury blends together perfectly. This is a must visit.

Das Hotel war in einigen Fällen ausgezeichnet, aber in anderen fehlt es wirklich. Die Highlights des Hotels sind das außergewöhnliche Frühstück, das Beste, das ich in SE Asien hatte, und seine leckeren Desserts und Pasta im Lobby. Neben dem sehr guten Service, mit zwei Dingen zu denken, eine ist eine kostenlose Zimmeraufbau, und zwei, die mir erlaubt, zum Frühstück 30 Minuten früh (6:30am vs 7:00am) zu gehen. Das Hotel ist auch sehr ästhetisch und einzigartig im Stil, und die Technologie ist sicherlich interessant und intelligent verwendet. Aber sie treffen auch einige merkwürdige Entscheidungen, da sie ein 5* Hotel sind. Erstens, warum es keine Seife im Badezimmer, das ich nie wissen werde, sollte ich nicht jederzeit in die Dusche gehen, um Körper waschen, um meine Hände jederzeit waschen. Die Dusche würde schrittweise kalter werden mit ein paar Minuten und ganz kalt 5 Minuten in. Das Bett ist weit von Luxusgefühl entfernt, mit es ziemlich hart, obwohl vernünftig komfortable und der Duvet-Beschichtung hatte einige Marken auf. Schließlich bedeutet die Technik, dass es viele unnötige Lichter um das Zimmer gibt, was das Zimmer viel weniger dunkel macht. Insgesamt hätte ich erwartet, dass das harte Produkt in einem Hotel dieser Klasse besser ist, aber das weiche Produkt war sicherlich 5*.

Marina Island Boat transfer easy, although I feel a little expensive. Coffee was cold, they had wrong check in information and I almost tripped on uneven block surface exiting building to boat. Check in completed at reception , with correction to booking. We were in a lower tropical garden villa, which is cheapest room. We were lucky to have part sea view and part back of pool view. Other lower villas in this category, not so good a view. This said, room was gorgeous, despite dead moth in sunken bath area. All the staff were fantastic and helpful. Chatted to some people in over water villas, who were disappointed you could not swim in sea from villa, nor enter sea from beach around jetty , due to sea urchins. On the other side of the Island is Emerrald bay. Absolutely stunning! Beautiful beach and sea to swim in. Lots of space for sun beds, but everyday ran out by 11am! Suggest they get some more! Forfeited scrumptious in all restaurants. 

The location is great, as it’s close to the city center and convenient for getting around. The hotel also offers a good range of facilities. The breakfast selection isn’t very extensive, but the food is tasty and satisfying. The room was clean and well maintained. Complimentary parking is available for hotel guests, but remember to validate your parking ticket at the front desk before leaving.

Booked a room here to stay close to family in the area, and it was exactly what I needed. It’s a straightforward hotel with all the essential amenities. The room was clean, the room service was prompt, and the reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great choice if you’re looking for a hassle-free, ”basics done right” experience.

Nothing but good things to say about the Bedrock Hotel. We were actually across the road from the hotel itself as we had one of the junior suites, which are in a newly refurbished building. The suites are fabulous, they are very roomy and very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The bathroom itself was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have had recently and the thoughtful addition of a water filter that provides hot, cold or ambient water to order was priceless. The suites do not have kitchenettes (although they do have a small fridge) they do have a coffee machine, cups, cutlery, plates, bowls and even wine glasses in the same cabinet as the fridge, all of which came in very useful. The bed was also super comfortable and the AC worked well too. We had originally tried to book in the Old Town itself but there was limited availability, the Bedrock was a great second choice, as it was just a short 10 to 15 minute walk away and the breakfast was great too.

Habe auch ein paar Affen gesehen. Der Pool ist groß genug und alle notwendigen Einrichtungen sind vorhanden. Das Personal ist vom Check-in über das Café bis zum Check-out freundlich und aufmerksam Wird sicherlich meine Unterkunft in Ipoh sein

Convenient location. Right next to a shopping mall, so it’s easy to find food, do some shopping, or just walk around. There’s also a 7-Eleven next door. Just across the road, you’ll find separate halal and non-halal foodcourts with plenty of local food choices. If you’re driving, park your car at Level 6. The hotel lobby is on the Ground Floor, so it may be a little confusing at first.
