I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch.

Mein Mann hatte ein gebrochenes Knochen in seinem Bein, wo wir ein Zimmer im ersten Stock reserviert haben. Als er uns sah, setzte er für unseren Zimmerwechsel, bot er uns Tee und Kaffee an, während wir warten, bis das hier geregelt werden kann. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr professionell und freundlich, um unsere Taschen ins Zimmer zu nehmen. Wir planen eine weitere Reise, da wir nicht in der Lage waren, die Einrichtungen zu nutzen.

We arrived into Chester a good few hours before check in so wanted to ask if we could store our luggage, however our room was ready so we were told we could check in right away! (Great start!) We were also upgraded at a discount price (nice little touch there) The exterior is stunning, the revolving door (possibly my favourite part of the hotel haha) and grand staircase were just stunning! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I had cut my finger earlier in the day, it kept reopening and one of the staff was very helpful in getting me wipes and extra plasters as I’d ran out. The room itself was gorgeous!! We had a view of the back gardens which looked so nice with the autumn leaves! The bed was large and comfortable! I would love to know where to buy the pillows!! I HATE climbing stairs but they were just too grand not too. We didn’t eat in the hotel but we did have a drink in the bar whilst we waited for a friend and it was lovely. The food looked delicious. The one and only issue I had was the strange humming/buzz at night which made it difficult to drift off to sleep. However, I did bring earplugs and should have used them so that’s on me haha! Would definitely stay here again if/when we visit Chester!

I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation. **Room Quality:** On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time.

Some have mentioned minor issues such as thin walls leading to noise disturbances and occasional maintenance concerns in the bathrooms. Conclusion: Alderley Edge Hotel successfully marries historical charm with modern comforts, making it a delightful choice for travelers seeking a serene yet convenient base in Cheshire. Whether you’re exploring the local countryside or indulging in the village’s vibrant scene, this hotel offers a memorable and comfortable stay. 

Das erste geregelte Zimmer in 311, die Toilettensitzdecke ist gebrochen. Und das nächste Zimmer war ein Hund gehalten. Das Rezeptionspersonal hat ein anderes Zimmer für uns kurz wieder geregelt, ihre Einstellung ist wirklich gut. Aber das Zimmer, das auf 223 neu arrangiert ist, ist im Grundstück, die Luftkreislauf ist wirklich nicht gut, Sie können den starken Haustier-Luft in der Halle riechen. Und ich kann sehen, dass die 3. Stock Lobby hatte Hunde-Poo. Ehrlich gesagt, sie machten eine Hundeausstellung, aber sie sind nicht wirklich gut organisiert, um alle Unannehmlichkeiten zu vermeiden. Das ist nicht wirklich fair für die Kunden, die diese Szenarien nicht erwarten.

Geburtstagsurlaub. Lage am Rande von Chester nahe der Autobahn. Schöne Orte, besetzter Parkplatz und beliebte Gegend für Partys und Geschäftsgäste. Karton auf der zweiten Etage schmutzig und riecht. Sink hält die Blockade, weil der Plug Loch voller Schmutz. Wäschetrockner ist nicht richtig groß und nicht richtig sicher. Bett komfortable, schöne Handtücher Tee und instant Kaffee und Flaschen Wasser im Zimmer. Frühstück schöne Auswahl Aber keine frische dekoffeinierte Kaffee nur instant Granules yuk!!! Nichts schlimmer als schrecklicher Kaffee!!! Mit so vielen anständig dekoffeinierte Optionen verfügbar und Kunden nicht trinken Coffein ist das völlig unannehmbar.

The staff here are all lovely, super helpful and accommodating. Hotel guests can use the spa facilities for free during their stay, something we took full advantage of. It’s a nice hotel to stay in if you’re in the area. Ideally there’d be a little more attention to upkeep- there are cobwebs in some harder to reach spots, we kept being given too few towels, the heater didn’t work, the shower was stiff and hard to turn on, and the batteries in the tv remote needed replacing. All small things that the staff were happy to fix when notified though.
