Really clean and tidy room and we had the best night sleep on the comfiest bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was at the Center of Chester which made everything easier to get too. It was right by the shops and loads of places to eat. Self service breakfast with plenty of choice enjoyed everything and hope to visit again.

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

Best thing I can say is I wish we had stayed more than one night! Lovely friendly staff and good breakfast. Complimentary pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub very welcome. Great location near centre and station. We walked from the latter with luggage in 8 mins. Bar with seating outside overlooking the canal. Only downside is no aircon in room and with the current hot weather the fan was not up to the job.

Das Zimmer war brillant und sehr geräumig mit fantastischen Luftkoni für die Sommernachten, die auch nicht zu laut waren. Das Hotel liegt perfekt neben dem Bahnhof für einen einfachen Zugang und das Personal war angenehmen und untergebracht, sogar mit einem kostenlosen Getränk im Haus für einfache Buchung dort. Das Bett war super komfortable und geräumig und die Dusche war auch perfekt.

Großes Bett. Einfacher Zugang zu M6 und Routen südlich. Große Wahl beim Frühstück. Eine Beschwerde. Bei der Eincheckung wurde mir nicht empfohlen, mein Auto zu registrieren. Am Morgen informierte der Empfangsmann mich, ihnen zu schreiben, wenn ich eine Geldbuße bekomme.

Ein Privilegraum reserviert. Eincheckt und als Mann auf der Rezeption sah ich auf Krümmungen er wechselte Zimmer vom 1. Stock zum Boden, was bedenklich war. Er erklärte kein Problem, aber er hätte es bereits getan. Wir wurden Zimmer 120. Der Hauptgrund für die Buchung war, den Pool zu verwenden, um meine Erholung von gebrochenem Ankel zu helfen. Kleider und Slips im Zimmer und kurzen Spaziergang zum Pool-Gebäude. Pool schöne Form und vernünftige Größe. Fairly besetzt, aber nicht zu viel. Jacuzzi schön und es hatte eine Sauna und Dampfraum, obwohl wir nicht diese verwendet haben. Pool-Bereich etwas datiert, aber nicht beeinflusst die Verwendung und Pool-Betreiber kontrollierte Wasser während wir in ihm waren. Zimmer ok. Nespresso kleines Pod-Typ-Maschinen und Kettle im Zimmer. Fernseher konnte sich für Apps wie Netflix etc anschließen - das war fedtly. Badezimmer ok mit Toiletten und Extras wie Baumwollschuhe und Zahnbürsten etc. schöne Berührung. Leider gibt es keine Eisenbahn in der Badewanne, nur zwei kleine Eisenbahnen auf dem tatsächlichen Bad, die, obwohl nicht ein Zugänglichkeitsraum, wir hätten gedacht, wäre die Norm zu haben, so aus dem Bad nach der Dusche war schwierig. Leider gab es einen schrecklichen Geruch, den wir erst bemerkten, als wir zum Bett gingen, da wir denken, das Teppich war. Es war spät, es aufzulegen und sagte die Rezeption auf der Auscheckung. Nicht angenehmen überhaupt. Wir gingen in die Bar-Zone und hatten einen gemeinsamen Platte. Sehr schön, aber die Schweinebisse waren sehr gepickt! Das Frühstück war ok, aber sie waren nicht gut beim Lagern des heißen Essens auf und mehrere Leute warten ein paar Mal. Es war 9:30am also nicht am Ende des Services. Nur zwei Mitarbeiter sahen, so vielleicht war das ein Problem.. although the man ‘toped up’ the pastiers by bringing out a big plate with just 2 pain au chocolate on 🤷🏼♀️ Das Frühstück war gut, was es gab, aber der Service war schlecht, was es abließ. Das Hotel hat insgesamt Potenzial, aber denken Sie nicht, dass es wieder bleiben würde (nicht in Zimmer 120, wenn sie das Teppich nicht aussortieren).

Enttäuschend Frühstück und sehr wenige Abendessen Optionen. Kein Aufzug zum Zugang zu den oberen Etagen, wo die Zimmer liegen. Ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Spa und Fitness waren gut, aber Handtücher zu klein.

Das ist das zweite Mal, dass wir in diesem Hotel verblieben haben, und unsere Wahl war hauptsächlich auf seine bequeme Lage und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Es ist sehr nahe am Flughafen und sehr ruhig am Abend, umgeben von Farmen und Grasland. Wir lieben das Frühstück, weil es kein typisches Buffet ist. Stattdessen können Sie aus einem Menü mit einer großen Auswahl an Optionen, die alle wunderbar schmecken. Die Dekoration des Restaurants ist auch wunderschön, und Sie werden mehr als zufrieden mit den Portionen sein. Das Restaurantpersonal ist passioniert, freundlich und hilfreich. Ein Punkt ist, dass die Rezeption oft umgeben ist, was nur eine Beobachtung und weder positiv noch negativ ist. Die Rezeptionisten tun immer ihr Bestes und sind sehr nett und professionell. Allerdings ist das Zimmerdesign ein wenig veraltet.

Das Hotel Oddfellows war einfach, aber es hätte zuvor die genaue Adresse der Wohnung geholfen, so dass wir einfacher parkieren konnten. Es gibt einen Parkplatz im Apartment, aber es ist ein enger Eingang! Apartment 5 war oben und sehr geräumig. Die Lounge/Küche/Dinner war gut eingerichtet und der Tee und der Kaffee verfügbar war sehr willkommen. Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer waren groß, komfortabel und sauber (aber mit wenigen Hügeln für Handtücher oder Coats konnten). Es gibt sogar ein Waschraum. Decof ist wunderschön und die Lage ist großartig - nur von den Hauptstraßen. Fabelhafter Ort zum Aufenthalt.
