Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel. Das Beste war das Frühstück. Auch sie sind sehr flexible mit der Ein- und Auscheckzeit. Auch die Eigentümer haben eine Tour-Firma, so haben sie uns gute Preise für den Rest der Aktivitäten gegeben und sie waren erschwingliche Preise. Bitte nicht zögern, sie um Hilfe zu bitten, auch sie haben uns alle unsere Taxis reserviert! Absolut unglaublich

Sehr gute und ruhige Lage. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, die Zimmer sind sauber. Es wurde täglich gereinigt. Der Weg zur Tortuga Bay ist gleich um die Ecke. Dieser dauert ca. 30-45 Minuten. Frühstück ist ein Chaos! Aufgeschnittenes und portioniertes Obst wird mit einem Süß-Joghurt gebracht. Die Eierbestellung wird in ein Handy getippt, aber was anderes gebracht. Auch wenn auf spanisch bei der Dame, Rühreier mit Käse und Zwiebel gewünscht werden, sind Zwiebel nicht möglich. Dann kommt es und die Scheibe Käse mit einer Scheibe Schinken liegen daneben. Dann täglich noch auf diesem Teller, mal ein Pancake, Waffel etc. Auch wenn nur Eier bestellt werden, kommen Käse/Schinken und die Zugabe. Erst als noch ein junger Mann bediente, waren plötzlich die Rühreier mit Käse und Zwiebel möglich. Ein Handy hat er nicht benötigt, konnte sich im Gegensatz zu der jungen Dame alles merken. Diese Dame bzw. Seniorita putzte den Tisch trotz Aufforderung wiederwillig und so, dass trotzdem Brösel etc. liegen blieben. Der Pool und Whirlpool wurden nicht gereinigt. Die Liegeauflagen sind verdreckt und schmutzig. Die Handtücher sind uralt, verfranzt, lösen sich auf, sind tlw. weiß, kurz oder lang. Vor Vortag wurden die Flaschen und Kaffeetassen nicht weggeräumt. Zwei Putzfrauen reinigen den ganzen Tag die Hotelzimmer. Und das ist unser Wermutstropfen gewesen. Wer den Rest macht, haben wir nach den 4 Nächten nicht herausgefunden oder gesehen. Hätten wir nicht unsere Tour über eine Agentur gebucht, wären wir abgereist. Dafür ist das Bohemian Cafe gleich rechts daneben ein Tippppp.

Superb accommodation! 2 separate rooms each with a bathroom. Spacious, verandah overlooking an immaculate pool. Included tasty breakfast served beside the pool. Games room/ gym available. Only draw back its 15 minute walk to town. But taxis are $2 and plentiful.

What an absolute treat! From arrival to departure we felt so welcomed and cared for. The staff there are superb, from the Front Desk to the Maintenance guys, not forgetting the Restaurant. On arrival we were given a room upgrade to the Presidential Suite, which was a lovely separate villa with all sort of amenities. What better way of celebrating my birthday! Once checked in, the hotel manager (Diego?) kindly showed us to out villa and explained the facilities of the hotel. The hotel has a pool, gym, restaurant, and even a lava cave (biggest in the islands I believe) where they do a special set menu dinner. The grounds of the hotel are immense and you can find several giant turtles around Breakfast was also superb with a good selection and an even better service! The staff there remember the day of my birthday and the chefs prepared a lovely Bday cake which I was so surprised by. Dinner at the main restaurant was algo very good, and again the service was the best part of it. Lisset was our waiter and she was just amazing :) On the last night we could definitely not pass on the lava cave dinner experience, and we are so glad we did go! It is definitely something to experience. The hotel is situated pretty much in the middle of the island. If you come to Santa Cruz by plane, you will most probably land in Seymour, from the terminal there is just a short bus ride to the port and then a super-quick taxi boat sail to Santa Cruz. Once in Santa Cruz there will be plenty of taxi waiting for passengers to get off the ferry. The ride to the Royal Palm is $25 and 30 min max. From the hotel to Puerto Ayora (south of the island and main hub) is $15 and a 20min ride. The hotel can arrange for a taxi pick up. Our driver shared his number and we just had to text him 10min before we needed him again to get back to the hotel. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a while.

A friend and I stayed at the Ninfa for 3 nights. We found the hotel to be clean and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the outside courtyard area that had a bar and pool, and hung out there at the end of the day. Bartenders Jesus and Andre made good margaritas and G&Ts, something we found to be a rarity in the islands. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. We stayed in one of the 2nd floor balcony rooms that over looked the pool area. Bring a portable clothesline if you want to dry your stuff after a day on the water. We had an unbooked open night at the end of our trip and liked the Ninfa well enough to book our last night there, as well.

Espana is centrally located in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz, Galapagos, close to bars, restaurants, shops, waterfront, pharmacies and medical facilities. I booked tours through the hotel which worked out very well, and the hotel suggested that I do the Santa Cruz Highlands tour (including El Chato Tortoise Reserve) en route from the airport as a combined transfer/tour. This was a great suggestion as you basically drive through the highlands coming from the airport anyway. Breakfast was included and delivered to my table each morning. On one morning, I had a boat trip to Bartolome island booked (on board schooner Nautilus - highly recommended), and the hotel receptionist met me at the hotel at 5:45am and walked me to the pickup location with her dogs. Wifi is terrible - as it is everywhere on the island (I tried every bar I was in) - can't even upload one photo! But its not the hotel, it's the whole island. Very happy with the experience overall. Hotels can be expensive here - not a bad spot to reign in the budget and splurge back on the mainland.

Glückliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümer (Amanda) & Familie. Nicht viel Englisch gesprochen (Bar Sergey, als er da war, und ein anderes Mädchen auf der Rezeption, die wir nur einmal getroffen haben) so ohne einige Spanisch kann es Missverständnisse geben. Das Internet war schlecht (allgemeines Problem in Galapagos, denke ich) und verursachte Probleme bei der Zahlung der Rechnung, weil es in der Mitte der Transaktion mit CC fehlgeschlagen und wir endlich die Zahlung verdoppelt. Um fair zu sein, ging Amanda direkt zur Bank, um zu stornieren, sobald wir es entdeckten - Geld war in einer Woche wieder in unserem A/C oder so. Die meisten Zimmer sind gut mit unspottbaren Fliesenboden - wir endeten mit Probenahme 3 verschiedene Zimmer in unserem 4-Nacht-Unterkunft (1 Nacht und dann 3 weitere nach einer Lücke von wenigen Tagen). Einer im 1. Stock am Hintergrund des Gebäudes war ein großes Zimmer mit mini-Kitchen inkl. Dusche, Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, aber wurde von nahe angrenzenden Eigenschaften übersehen, so dass wir nur Gräber geschlossen, die es für die meisten Zeit ein wenig gebläht machten. Das Equiv Zimmer im 3. Stock, das wir für ein paar Nächte hatten, war ein gutes Zimmer. Zwei Zimmer auf der oberen Etage (4.), die wir für eine Nacht hatten, war klein, aber gab Ihnen einfachen Zugang zu der grauen Dachterrasse, die einige Stuhl hatten, die wir gewöhnt haben, ein Bier und einige Snacks, die die Sonne abschneiden. Alle Zimmer, die wir geblieben haben, waren laut, aber - wahrscheinlich für viele der Puerto Ayora Unterkunft - kontinuierliche Autos in C Seymour, Hunde, Cockerels von 4 oder sogar früher, Wasserpumpen usw. usw. nicht das Beste, wenn Sie ein leichter Schlafer sind. Normalerweise haben wir die Fenster offen gelassen - sie schließen hilf mir ein wenig, aber nicht viel. Das Frühstück war vernünftig - nicht in einem Buffet gelagert, sondern auf Anfrage gebracht. Frisches Obstsaft, Eier wie Sie wollen, Brot/Toast, Kaffee/Tee, Obst, wenn Sie es beantragt. Insgesamt waren sie zufrieden genug mit dem Platz, esp Amanda & Personal und würde wieder bleiben, aber nicht im Zimmer im ersten Stock und ich würde gute Ohrschleifen bringen.

This is a fantastic, budget-friendly place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning, hot water and internet all worked great. The kitchen was clean and well equipped for guests to use. It’s 2 blocks from the Central town square and 4 blocks from the beach. Manuel, his wife and his sons live on site and are always available and happy to help in any way they can. If you’re not looking for an expensive, beach front luxury accommodation, this is a perfect place to stay in Villamil.

I was back here after a canoe over 4 years. This is a quaint little hotel with excellent service and warmth. Diana, Kelly, Gabrielle and their team looked after us so well. They were very helpful in organizing our tours and plans for the 5 days we spent there. Rooms are clean and they have everything you need. Breakfast is wholesome and just what you need. Located with a view of the water form some rooms and. 2 min walk to the beach or center of town, makes it one of the better places to stay. I particularly love it because it’s a local family run business and one should always support such properties. Ask Them to suggest tours when booking. Very very highly recommended.
