Nachdem unsere Reise nach Galapagos durch die Pandemie von Mai auf August, dann auf November 2020, dann nochmal auf Dezember 2021 umgebucht worden ist, wurde sie nun komplett gecancelt. Wir wollten im Anschluss an eine Kreuzfahrt 2 Tage in diesem wundervollen Hotel verbringen. Die Umbuchungen verliefen immer ohne Probleme, herzlichen Dank dafür. Jedoch, jetzt, wo alles abgesagt wurde vom Tour operator, also wir nichts dafür können, stellt sich die Hotelleitung quer und wir werden wir refunded. 1500 Dollar, die wir im Mai 2020 gezahlt haben, für 2 Nächte sind nicht wenig, und wir finden es absolut nicht kundenfreundlich, nicht mal einen Teil refund anzubieten.

Such a lovely hotel. Beautiful location with a safe warm lagoon beach and a lovely swimming pool. We loved the visiting birds and the resident ducks who did laps up and down the pool in the evenings. The rooms aren't huge but they are more than adequate with good storage and lovely bathroom. They are very comfortable and airy. The food and service were excellent. Friendly staff who all strive to make you as lazy as possible during your stay. Even the man who ferried us to the main town in the hotel water taxi pointed out constellations at night as we crossed the harbour. The location is perfect. Quiet and tucked away but 2 minutes in the water taxi to the bustling town. Jorge, Hilda and Wagner were all wonderful.

Nice hotel with a good swimming pool but we felt it was hugely overpriced for what it was. We did go over Easter so it was more expensive but the rooms felt basic and the service not up to scratch for the cost. Decent breakfast and lunch and dinner was very good. Boat service to Santa Cruz main island was also very efficient

Beautiful place to dive deep into the Island - close up with lots of animals - wonderful pool area - own beach for enjoyment and snorkeling - gear for free - nice rooms with very cosy bedding - good breakfast - a place to feel completely free of sorrows

Best resort with beautiful views, clean rooms, fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff, all very helpful. The food at restaurant was great - from breakfast buffet to wonderful dinner selection. The bar also made great drinks poolside!

when we arrived, I had no idea how much fun I was going to have, the place is in front of the beach, it is simply magical to see the sunset there, the service is impeccable, the food is delicious, it was worth every penny, my friends and I had a great time.

We stayed here our last 2 nights after getting off a catamaran. This looked on par with most of the hotels we stay at. It was a very nice hotel and we paid for a suite which was just a larger room for our family of 4 but had amazing views. What was a step above was the service. Every single person working at this hotel was kind, welcoming and helpful. You really cannot ask for better service. The breakfast in the morning was perfect. Only small things that could be improved are the beds (which are pretty hard but that is preference) pillows (a bit softer) and a makeup mirror (but it’s also Galapagos and maybe you aren’t supposed to wear as much makeup). Also, there are birds that poop in the pool but they do pick up pretty quick. The food was great and resort is beautiful. Take the kayaks out to the bay next door to see more wildlife and it’s a quick walk to Las Grietas which runs every hour starting at 7:30. Get there early because it gets crowded. We also went into town for dinner one evening and that was fun.

The hotel is lovely. The reception and lounge are open to the outdoors as well as the restaurant that serves beautiful buffet breakfasts. The bar is outdoors facing the pool where you may reserve one of the high top tables for meals or there are tables which may be reserved for dinners by the pool. Service excellent. Best to request a room facing the water. The spa is located up a walking path and there are two outdoor jacuzzis which may be reserved in advance for privacy. Massages there well done. Nature surrounding the property and wildlife. May 2022

We LOVED our stay at the Finch Bay Hotel. We had a suite and it was roomy and clean and so comfortable and we loved that there was no tv. Our view was so nice. The spa services were excellent!! I highly recommend booking a massage. Our food was also very good when we ate there.
