1) The escalator leading from the lobby to the mezzanine level was out of order. Given the makeshift barrier on the mezzanine level, it looked like the escalator had been out of commission for some time. Quite a shame from a convenience standpoint. 2) I had checked into the hotel after midnight because of a flight delay so I was pretty exhausted and fell asleep quickly after taking a shower, brushing my teeth, etc. I woke up in the middle of my first night's stay noticing a foul odor. After walking around the room and initially thinking it was coming from the A/C vent, I pinpointed the origin of the bad smell to the linens: the pillowcases, sheets, blanket. It smelled like a dirty wet sponge or clothes that never dried completely but were put back in the dresser drawer. I pulled all of the linens off the bed and left a note for housekeeping to replace them because of a foul odor. They did and it was fine the rest of my stay, but the point is I never should have had to do that. 3) Upon returning from my uncle's funeral Saturday night, to my dismay I found 20-30 cars that had been double-parked by the valets in the hotel parking lot. After circling the lot several times in the hopes of catching someone leaving but having no success, I decided to look into valet parking, figuring that since I was a hotel guest they would have something worked out. When the valet told me the valet fee was $49 even for hotel guests I was flabbergasted and declined. He instructed me to go back to the parking garage and speak to the parking attendant to ask about my parking options. When I got there, the parking attendant initially refused to come out of his booth to help me so I had to enter the garage, go all the way around to the exit and talk to him so that he didn't have to leave his booth. He pointed at a white car parked outside and told me to look for parking ”around there.” I asked him if that was assigned to the hotel, because I did not want to wake up tomorrow morning to discover that my rental car had been towed or impounded. He did not convince me that this was not a possibility so I parked the car where he instructed me to, took photos of the area, and went to the hotel registration desk to look further into the parking situation. The signage was also not clear. When I got to the registration desk, I was helped by an employee who seemed to have a French accent. He was definitely European, with very short hair. I explained what had just happened with the parking and he told me that the hotel did not have ”jurisdiction” over that parking area and he could not guarantee me that my car would not be towed. There happened to be another employee, a local guy, just finishing a transaction with a hotel guest so I moved one station over and asked him the same question. He clarified the situation and explained that that outside parking area (in the middle, under the ramp) was overflow parking for the hotel, and, as long as my hotel parking pass was clearly displayed, my car could remain there for the duration of my stay.

Es war ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Diamond Head und das Meer. Ich machte mir ein wenig Sorgen wegen der Höhe, da ich freie Sicht auf das Meer wollte, aber ich war zufrieden mit der Lanai mit Blick auf die beiden ohne Probleme. Es ist als Ganzes alt, die Badewanne ist alt, und es braucht Zeit, um heißes Wasser zu bekommen.

Excellent location for the price. Hotel is mid but I got a real good deal out of it so not gonna complain. Great view if you get one of the upper floors

Ich habe zwei Schlafzimmer, aber ein Zimmer wurde in zwei. Das Paar ＋ Ich ging mit einem Freund, und ich konnte eine komfortable Zeit verbringen. Die Vision wird auch von Teilen der Meereslandschaft auf Meereslandschaft aktualisiert. Ich kann die Landschaft erfassen. Es ist als Geräte sehr alt, aber genug, um zu schlafen. Aber der Wasserdruck in der Schüttelmaschine ist zu schwach, dass ich mich wünsche, ob es ... gebrochen hat. Ich muss mich nicht fürchten, zu bewegen, weil die Bahn- und Busplattformen in der Nähe sind, aber es ist etwas weit von der Stadt (Kr. Hawaii) entfernt, so dass es müde sein wird, nach Hause zu gehen.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Strand, aber viele Felsen müssen also ein bisschen gehen, um einen Teil des Strandes ohne Felsen zu erreichen. Starke Wellen und Ströme im Winter so nicht gut für junge Kinder oder Anfänger Schwimmern, sondern gut für Surfen und Boogie-Boogie-Boogie. Sie können Schildkröten schwimmen in der Nähe des Strandes und weiter entfernt von vielen Walen von Dezember bis März sehen. Das Hotel verfügt über viele Schwimmbads (und ein Spaßschlitten), aber nur 3ft tief so gut für Kinder, aber ein wenig müde für Erwachsene. Nur ein Restaurant, es ist Duke. Und ein kleiner Shop verkauft Starbucks Kaffee. Unser Einheit war im 10. Stock im Hauptgebäude und hatte einen großen Balkon mit schöner Aussicht auf den West Maui Mountain. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in dieser Lage und würde gerne zurückkommen!

Sehr praktische und sichere Lage direkt neben IHOP, einen Block vom ABC-Laden und buchstäblich eine Minute zu Fuß von einer Bushaltestelle für die großen Busse entfernt, die zum Einkaufszentrum Ala Moana und zum Flughafen fahren. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Die rund um die Uhr besetzte Rezeption war höflich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben mein Gepäck vor dem Einchecken und nach dem Auschecken aufbewahrt, sodass ich die Gegend erkunden konnte, ohne mein Gepäck mit mir herumtragen zu müssen. Der Preis war angemessen und tatsächlich etwas günstiger als in anderen Hotels in der Nähe. Sie geben hawaiianischen Einwohnern einen großen Rabatt, wenn Sie ein Zimmer direkt über ihre offizielle Website buchen. Dies war mein zweiter Aufenthalt und ich werde definitiv hier übernachten, wenn ich das nächste Mal wieder in diese Gegend komme.

This is a true outdoorsmen experience. I stayed in the Monkeypod tent. It was very comfortable. I had a very nice Queen bed with plenty of pillows. The tent came with a folding table, iron racks for hanging clothes, a lamp, multi-plug power strip, and WIFI. The porch had one chair and a table, and the nights were very quiet. The property shares a kitchen with on the needed appliances and dishware available as well as a porch with tables and chairs to watch the sunset. There are two showers, one in door with solar heating and one outdoors (still private) with gas heating. The property has a protected gate with code. Overall, a very good experience and I would stay here again.

Die Lage ist ok, das Hotel hat einen Shuttlebus zum Einkaufszentrum, ca. 7 oder 8 Autominuten. Aber man kann nicht laufen, es gibt keinen Bürgersteig an der Hauptstraße. Der Service ist normal und die Einrichtungen sind etwas rückständig, um schwer zu verstehen. Als Vier-Sterne-Hotel stellen Sie weder Zahnpasta noch Wasser zur Verfügung. Sie müssen es auch selbst kaufen. Der Supermarkt des Hotels ist nicht rund um die Uhr geöffnet. Es wäre sehr mühsam, wenn Sie kein Auto mieten würden. Das gesamte Hotel auf Maoyi Island ist viel teurer als auf anderen gut ausgestatteten Inseln wie der Insel Oahu, und die Dinge sind nicht vollständig. Ich würde vorschlagen, dass die Überlegung, ein Haus zu mieten, kostengünstiger ist.

Die Einrichtungen sind alt und die Mitarbeiter (ein paar Yaya-Ansichten) haben ein wenig diskriminierend, aber wenn Sie Englisch sprechen können, werden sie sich für Sie verbessern. Wi-Fi-Netzgeschwindigkeit ist langsamer, aber die Lage des Hotels ist gut, AB C-Untergeschoss oder der Hotelstrand ist sehr nah.

Ich habe fünf Nächte dort verbracht und war rundum zufrieden. Allerdings tauchte eine Kakerlake auf, die das Hotel daraufhin desinfizierte, aber sie kam trotzdem wieder. Es war mein dritter Besuch auf Hawaii, und ich wusste, dass Kakerlaken überall vorkommen. Es war in Ordnung, und angesichts des Preises, der Ausstattung und der guten Küchennutzung war es eine ziemlich gute Unterkunft.
