About this spaceUlysses Suites has just been completed inside the historic J. G. Schmohl building in the heart of downtown Galena, located at 213 to 217 S. Main Street. The location is walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. Suite 301 is located on the 3rd floor. Suite 301 is a lovely 1 bedroom/1 bath with a double vanity and steam shower and beautiful view of Main Street from the living room. Suite 301 can be attached to Suite 302.The spaceThe J. G. Schmohl building was built around 1850. From 1895 to 1932, Mr. Schmohl ran the Grant Hotel in this building. We have loving renovated this well-deserved building with a nod to the Grant Hotel from the turn of the century. We have 3 two bedroom/2 bath suites, 2 one bedroom/1 bath suites and 2 studios. Having a special family/friend gathering? You can rent the entire 7 suites that will accommodate 21 people. Ulysses Suites main entrance is at 214 S.
