Das Hotel verfügt über eine gute Verkehrsanbindung. Es ist eine Straße von der U-Bahn-Station Nr. 1 entfernt und die umliegenden Wohneinrichtungen sind vollständig. Das Hotel war ursprünglich ein Kirchengebäude mit einem großen öffentlichen Raum, zwei großen Gärten, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, sauberen und hellen Zimmern und separaten Badezimmern. Gleichzeitig stellt das Hotel kostenlose lokale Reiseleiter zur Verfügung, die Touristen zum Besuch der Innenstadt oder berühmter Sehenswürdigkeiten führen, was sehr praktisch und freundlich ist, und auch das Servicepersonal ist herzlich und freundlich. Kurz gesagt: <Hello New York Hostel> ist die beste Wahl zum gleichen Preis.

This is very much a classic, old-fashioned American motel, but it is not the kind of place you need to be overly worried about. The sheets and towels are changed, and small packets of all-in-one shampoo are provided. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower with a shower curtain. There can occasionally be a slight odor, which is probably the main downside. The hair dryer is an old-style black unit mounted on the wall, and it may remind you of the kinds of dryers that used to be common in motels years ago. The room includes a refrigerator, microwave, and television. Wi-Fi is available and generally convenient, although it sometimes disconnects, which is part of the motel’s charm. Cell phone reception is also somewhat weak, but I was still able to get a signal. During my stay, AT&T and Verizon were not particularly strong, while T-Mobile seemed to work better. All of the buildings are single-story, and the parking lot is spacious, so finding a place to park should not be a problem. There also appears to be a Chinese restaurant attached to the reception area, although I never saw it open during my stay. Staff are usually available at the front desk from around 9:00 a.m. until about 11:00 p.m. For arrivals outside those hours, you can call in advance. There is a key lockbox outside, and you can open it using a passcode, so late-night check-in is still easy and convenient. This is not a luxurious property, but it is a practical and reasonably comfortable motel, especially for travelers arriving by car and watching baseball games in Allstar village.

Die Lage ist Top....5 Min bis U-Bahn, Bus je nach Verbindung noch kürzer. Jede Menge Essensmöglicjkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Check in war Reibungslos und die Gepäckaufbewahrung ist auch ok. .Die Toiletten und Duschen wurden gem. Reinigungsprotokoll an der Tür meistens 1 mal täglich aber auch schon mal nur alle 2 Tage gereinigt. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber alles drin. Kühlschrank, TV, Air con, Safe... Aber das Bett... Absolutes no go. Ein aufgeblasen Plastikkopfkissen, ein dünnes Laken was zu klein für die Plastikmatratze ist und immer runter rutscht und beim umdrehen gibt die weiche Matratze genug Schub damit sich das Bett auf Rollen selbstständig macht...

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, obwohl sich noch immer Obdachlose und Drogenkonsumenten auf den Straßen aufhalten. Der Haupteingang ist jedoch stets verschlossen und die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt. Die Zimmer befinden sich im 4. und 5. Stock, und die Treppe ist sehr steil, was es alleinreisenden Frauen mit Koffern sehr schwer macht. Es empfiehlt sich, die Rezeption im Voraus zu informieren; falls ein Mann Dienst hat, hilft er Ihnen gerne beim Hochtragen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr eng. Im Durchschnitt teilen sich 15–20 Gäste Bad und WC. Die Reinigungsfrequenz ist akzeptabel, sodass es nicht übermäßig schmutzig ist. Ein einfaches vegetarisches Frühstück wird von 7 bis 11 Uhr angeboten: Müsli, Brot, Muffins, Kaffee und Obst. Der Wasserspender kann leer werden, wenn er von vielen Gästen benutzt wird! Ob es nachts ruhig ist, hängt vom Zufall ab; Sie können sich jedoch bei Problemen an die Rezeption wenden. Wenn Sie auf Ihr Budget achten müssen, ist dies eine gute Option. Für längere Aufenthalte nicht empfehlenswert. Kurze Aufenthalte sind in Ordnung.

I needed a place for an overnite stay, no time to enjoy the pool unfortunately, as I was using Moonlite to break up a long drive from Canada... My room was clean, bed was comfortable, although I would have personally preferred softer pillows, just the way I sleep. Microwave and fridge are always welcome, wish there had been a coffee maker as well, but I realize that some places forgo that convenience because they 'disappear'. Dunkin' Donuts is a short drive away, so not a problem. It's an older building, but the owners have made some upgrades, light switches, ceiling tiles, overhead lighs, and an easy to use modern 'deadbolt' that prevents unwanted access... Most appreciated was the help I received from Mary, whose family owns the place... I had a different reservation that needed to be changed (several weeks in advance) and the booking agency, Agoda, was making it difficult. Mary went above and beyond to assist me in cancelling the original, so I re-booked for the different date. Convenient, quiet location (I had a back corner room, and even with the window open, didn't notice much noise at all, despite the nearby highway. They deserve a better rating, when you need a place to stay, give them a try (just avoid Agoda!!)

This is a no friils, basic motel. If you're trying to save money on your lodging while traveling to New York City & surrounding areas, this is a great place to stay to save money. The motel is close to various local amenities as well as the Metro North train station. Taking the train will bring you to Grand Central Station in heart of NYC - Manhattan, in 30 minutes. I found the room, bed, linens and the bathroom to all be clean. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, mini drip style coffee maker, TV and a small desk. The bathroom had clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Though it was a bit cramped. The stand-up shower was great with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. There is parking in front of each room and it was fairly quiet. Again, this is a budget motel. So if you're not looking for anything fancy, I would recommend this place. Can't beat the price for being so close to NYC.

Ich denke, es ist ein sehr ruhiger Ort. Seit dem 5. Juni habe ich mehrere Male kontinuierlich gelebt und fast einen Monat gelebt, aber es gibt in der Nähe Restaurants, Märkte und Bequemlichkeitsgeschäfte, die sehr bequem sind, kann ich gern zum Central Park gehen. Die Lage ist sehr gut, weil es etwas weit entfernt ist. Schließlich gibt es einen Schrank in jedem Stock, so es fühlt sich wie ein kleiner Safe, und Sie können sich sicher sein. Ich möchte es noch einmal verwenden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Vordertür ist auch eine Sicherheitstür, so dass Sie sich sicher sein können. Die Sicherheitstür kann nicht leicht von außen intrudiert werden, was mich beruhigt.

I stayed here for 4 days, and it was an amazing experience. The bed was quite convenient to sleep which is queen size. Th room was quiet and peaceful, with no noise or distractions, which made my stay very relaxing. The street felt safe, especially since I was traveling alone. The owner was also very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!

Las instalaciones algo deficientes. El servicio no muy agradable: tras abandonar la habitación y acudir al alojamiento a recoger el equipaje, no me permitieron utilizar los aseos ni conectar el móvil para recargarlo.
