Hostels in Provinz Vientiane, Laos

Die Pension bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht! Die Lage ist hervorragend. Ich habe an der Rezeption eine Heißluftballonfahrt und ein Busticket gekauft. Vielen Dank für alles. Ich kann die Pension nur empfehlen.

Im Großen und Ganzen war es okay. Die Lage war praktisch, mitten im lebhaften Viertel von Vang Vieng, mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass sich die Buchung etwas wie ein Verkaufsgespräch anfühlte. Ich hatte zwei Nächte gebucht, aber die erste Nacht war nicht so toll. Die Holzkante des Bettes stieß mir mehrmals gegen die Knie, und in dem Bett, das mir zugewiesen wurde, konnte mich jeder problemlos beobachten. Vielleicht war es, weil ich spät ankam, das einzige freie Bett im unteren Bereich, sodass ich keinerlei Privatsphäre hatte. Ich musste die Vorhänge zuziehen, aber dadurch wurde es sehr heiß. Da es in Laos viele Mücken gibt, hatte ich Insektenschutzmittel dabei, wurde aber trotzdem gestochen und beschloss daher, eine Nacht zu stornieren. Als ich mich jedoch an den Kundenservice wandte, hieß es, die Buchung könne nicht storniert werden, was bedeutete, dass ich die Übernachtungskosten verlor – eine totale Geldverschwendung…

Owner is so friendly and helpful!! The hotel wasn’t fitting for my needs but she but she was great helping me. cleanliness is lacking, sheets and towels don’t smell good and the room is organized very inconveniently and outdated. All electricity switches are by the room door, including the bathroom one. The room i originally booked was tiny and smelled awful and the bathroom door didn’t close- so the showergot the room wet- hence the mildew smell. The owner allowed me to upgrade to a better room. And after two nights, we shortened our stay via trip app and she gave me back the fee I added for the upgrade. The bar across the street plays loud music until midnight and the rooms aren’t soundproof so if you’re sensitive keep this in mind. bike rental is great. And again- owner is amazing!

Das Hostel ist über eine kleine Brücke zu erreichen und liegt somit zentral in der Innenstadt, aber doch etwas separat. Das Zimmer war angemessen groß und verfügte neben einem Doppelbett auch über einen kleinen Tisch mit 2 Stühlen und einen Balkon. Der Ausblick beschränkte sich jedoch nur auf den Fluss und die gegenüberliegenden Bars und sehr viel Müll. In der Nacht wurden wir von mehreren Bars parallel dauerbeschallt (bis ca 1 Uhr). Das Waschbecken im Bad hatte keinen separaten Abfluss, sodass das Wasser direkt über den Boden ablief, und dieser permanent nass war. Die Federmatratze war leider gar nicht bequem. Das Personal war freundlich und konnte verhältnismäßig gutes Englisch. Es gibt einen Wäscheservice (20.000 Kip/kg), welchen wir jedoch benötigen haben. Über das Hostel können mehrere Tages- und Halbtagesausflüge gebucht werden. Auch das buchen von Zugtickets war scheinbar möglich. Das Frühstück (Menü) war sehr einfach aber in Ordnung. In einem Zimmer in Gartenrichtung hätten wir uns sicher wohler gefühlt.

An affordable accommodation with a wonderful breakfast served by an incredibly friendly and hardworking crew. Our room with a king bed was comfortable, spacious, decent shower with the toilet in the shower space. As is with everywhere we’ve stayed in South East Asia, it could’ve been a little cleaner, but was definitely on the cleaner side compared to other experiences we’ve had. The pool is awesome, great hang out area with drinks and food and a pool table too. You can book lots of activities through the hostel too if that’s how you like to book. The outside toilets nearby the pool occasionally smells, but I think that’s more of a Laos plumbing and pipes issue.

Mad Monkey Vang Vieng has a fun and social atmosphere, and the staff are generally friendly and energetic. It’s a great place if you’re looking to meet new people and enjoy the party vibe. However, some areas could use improvement. The rooms and facilities can feel a bit worn, and cleanliness is inconsistent at times. Depending on when you stay, noise levels can be quite high especially from other visitors, even late at night, something to keep in mind if you’re hoping for rest. Overall, it’s a lively hostel with a strong social scene, but not the best choice if comfort and quiet are your main priorities.

This hostel is very well located. The amenities are standard for Laos but functional (water pressure is great which is not always the case). The real plus of this hostel is the readiness of the staff, they will help you arrange your stay (and even your stay in other cities) with readiness and a smile. Definitely recommend if you want to rest next to the pool after a long day of hiking and have good company.

とても良かった。朝早い便があるため、朝の4:30にビエンチャン空港まで送迎してくれました（100ドル） また、朝ごはんはロビーで食べますが他のバックパッカーと食べるので友達を作りやすいです。 view pointに山登りして、靴が泥だらけになりましたがホテルの外の蛇口で洗い流せます（ブラシ等は置いていないので持参することを勧めます） 雨が降ってしまった日でも、ホステルの中にあるビリヤードなどで楽しむ人が多くいます。 また、水も自由にウォーターサーバーから補給できます。 そしてホステルに住んでいるわんちゃんはとても可愛いです。またヴァンヴィエンに来たらこのホステルに泊まります。

If you want to meat people from other countries this is the hotel to go to. Very nice place to relax and talk to follow backpackers.

The room was really nice and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially loved having a mirror right next to the bed — such a small thing, but super practical. I would definitely book this place again and can highly recommend it.
