Hostels in Pest, Ungarn

Wir kamen frühmorgens gegen 2:00 Uhr an und die 24-Stunden-Rezeption war fantastisch! Die Pantry ist ein echtes Juwel, und der Sichtschutzvorhang ist definitiv ein Bonus. Der einzige Nachteil war – wie erwartet – das tiefe, superlaute Schnarchen aus dem anderen Bett. Es war ein ohrenbetäubendes Schnarchen, das die ganze Nacht anhielt!

The location is great, with plenty of food options nearby. The rooftop bar is a nice spot to hang out and chat—if you find someone to talk to! The overall vibe of the hostel is positive, with lots of young people staying there. However, the bar is a bit far from the rooms, which can be inconvenient. The beds are quite noisy and lack curtains or privacy, which was a downside. That said, the staff are very friendly and do their best to resolve any issues, which really stands out.

Terrace is awesome, staff friendly. Vacak the cat is awesome too. This hostel is a great option to spend some time on the island, had a good night sleep and it was clean. Often though staff can be missing from the reception during the stated reception hours, and nearby is more of a party scene with few quality dining options. The 400ft Costa coffee capsules aren't exactly good either, so there is some space for improvement compared to some of the newer hostels in town.

Good experience staying here. Comfortable bed and room. Gratefully, each bed in the dorm has a cover and a large locker, so you’ll have both privacy and security. The shower room is nice with stable hot water. The only downside is that there’s no AC in the room, so the window needs to be kept open. Since the room is next to the public area where people smoke and chat until midnight, the smell goes into the room (even though it’s a non-smoking room) and the noise can disturb your sleep. The kitchen has a few refrigerators and two ovens. The only drawback is that there’s no stove, so you can only use the oven to warm up your food. There is an elevator that allows you to access each floor, so you don’t need to carry your luggage up the stairs Overall, a good stay at an affordable price.

Absolut top! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Die Sauberkeit war einwandfrei, die Umgebung angenehm und der Service sehr gut. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, sodass alle umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu erreichen sind. Ich hatte ein privates Einzelzimmer gebucht, welches mit einer eigenen Küche und einem Bad ausgestattet war. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, praktisch und zudem makellos sauber. Es war ausgesprochen ruhig. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

The location is very good and convenient. There are many restaurants, fast food and Lidl is just round the corner. Metro and bus stops are in front of the hostel. On the contrary to the good things, the hostel doesn't provide any toiletries. Not even a small piece of soap. The most inconvenient is that the bathroom is outside the room, and there's only one toilet! When checkout, the visitor has to clear the bedsheet and bring it down to the reception. With all the pros and cons, it really depends on what one needs. If it's just to have a place for a short stay, it's not bad at all.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage und ist sehr preiswert. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht groß, aber recht sauber und ordentlich, sodass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hervorragend ist.

Cons: Not so great initially - strong smell on the room, noise on the street but sorted out quickly. Thanks to prompt action by the management. In most of my stay, floor on the shared bathroom is always wet and no proper ventilation. Lockers are outside the bedrooms so it’s worth having a spare bag for some essential items that you need to keep next to you. Duvet slightly short for tall person. My roommate’s bed was creaking loudly even with simple movement. Pros: Near bus stop and metro station. Near to the popular thermal bath - Széchenyi, and tourist spots Heroes’ Square. Accommodating reception. Things to improve: Proper ventilation and floor rug in the bathroom. Long duvet, cleaner bedsheets and duvet cover and pillow. Overall: If you stay most of the time outside and it’s okay. Main gate always open, occupants got a key for main door but most of time it’s also open. I guess for the price, you get what you paid for.

Es gab ausreichend Personal, darunter auch Reinigungskräfte, sodass alles stets sauber war. Das Gebäude selbst ist zwar alt, aber das hat mich nicht weiter gestört. Die Betten waren für acht Personen ausgelegt, daher wackelte es etwas, wenn sich jemand bewegte, was mich beim Schlafen aber nicht beeinträchtigte. Es gab einen Föhn, eine Gepäckaufbewahrung und ein einfaches Frühstück, mit dem ich sehr zufrieden war! Das Personal war außerdem sehr freundlich. Es bietet ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, daher würde ich bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Budapest gerne wieder hier übernachten!

Es gibt einen Bus vom Flughafen direkt neben dem Hotel und da es mitten im Touristengebiet liegt, war es sehr praktisch, die Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Zimmer war geräumig und wir konnten unser Gepäck problemlos verteilen. Es gibt auch einen Ort, an dem Sie kleine Gegenstände waschen und trocknen können. Bringen Sie einfach Ihre eigenen Tassen und Handtücher mit und schon haben Sie eine perfekte Reise.
