Das Hotel war absolut fabulös. Die Lage war perfekt für alle religiösen Erfahrungen Fatima, die wir besuchen wollten. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich hilfreich und professionell. Als Amerikaner waren wir in der Dunkelheit freundlich - sie halfen uns, unseren Aufenthalt wunderbar zu navigieren. Zimmer waren so komfortabel und modern. Frühstück war auch wunderbar. Preise waren großartig! Wir hätten keinen besseren Aufenthalt und sehr empfehlen können dieses wunderbare Hotel!!!

Chose the hotel due to its perfect location but was pleasantly surprised at the super modern facilities, the kindness of the the all the staff. Comfortable bedding, the room décor was modern chic, and very clean. My room faced the square and as a perk, I could hear the bells of the sanctuary and also the mass if I opened the window, such a peaceful view in the morning. I had a buffet at the restaurant (for 18 or19 euro), it not so many dishes but all were delicious, especially the dessert. I was glad that I had dinner there. Their breakfast also has a good selection. The hotel also has a souvenir store right in front, very convenient to get to the evening candle processions and gifts from Fatima. High speed wifi. Overall I'm happy with my stay and I would book this hotel again for my next trip.

perched high up in abrantes this is one fine hotel. simple check-in in a attractive reception area,rooms are well decorated and clean and have a mini fridge,safety deposit box and tea/coffee facilities which was a pleasant surprise,rooms are quiet at night which is another plus. choice of food at breakfast is good as is the evening meal,throw in some lovely views of abrantes while you are eating and you'll enjoy it even more. a big thanks to all the staff and it's nice to use the laundry service that doesn't take advantage,your prices are very fair and i thank you for that.

This hotel is poorly run. Our room 627 was not served by WiFi Internet. I complained about it to Marc at the Front Desk 3 times. Finally a technical crew arrived and determined that the router on the 6 floor near our room was not projecting a signal to our room. This could not be remdied during our stay, and no other accomodation was offered. We asked to have our room made up early each day, Marc was argumentative and told us that he can not assure anything. The attitude of Marc was that of a Mr. No to all of our routine customary requests needed to make our hotel stay pleasant. The lack of internet and the lack of a positive attitude of the front desk staff succeeded in placing this hotel on the do not return list for us. The room had minimal ighting adjacen

Auf der Suche nach einem kleinen persönlichen Hotel auf der Strecke Richtung Lissabon sind wir per Zufall auf das Luz House gestossen. Wir waren bei der Ankunft sprachlos und überwälltigt. Die Liebe zum Detail ist in allen Ecken spür- und greifbar, das Zimmer war so detailgetreu eingerichtet, dass wir aus dem Staunen nicht mehr hinausgekommen sind. Die Leute sind superfreundlich, es sprüht vor Herzlichkeit. Noch nie im Leben haben wir so ein wunderbares Frühstück genossen,.einfach nur wow und wir haben unsere Seele baumeln lassen. Man möchte dort garnicht mehr weg. Wir kommen wieder und empfehlen es weiter. Vielen Dank für das Erlebnis.

Das Hotel ist ein glorreiches altes Hotel mit herrlichen Gärten, das das Original von der Außenbar, dem Innenpool und einer modernen Ausdehnung trennen. Wir haben im neuen Abschnitt ein übergeordnetes Zimmer mit einem TV-Alcove und einem Gartenblick. Die Vogelanrufe waren so laut und dauerhaft, dass ich zuerst dachte, sie wurden gefilmt. Wir mochten die Dekoration, die Mehrfach-elektrische Socken, und das komfortable Königsgröße Bett. Ausländische Fernsehsender erwiesen sich als beobachtbar, aber grainig. Wir haben uns in dem Zimmer einen Kaffeemacher verpasst, aber wir waren dankbar für die neue Flasche Wasser, die jeden Tag angekommen ist. Generell ist die beeindruckende Kunstarbeit im ganzen Hotel sicherlich modern. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend und lecker, aber begrenzt. Ich hätte gerne Musli unter den beliebten Getreidearten sehen können. Eine Treppe fliegt die räumliche unterirdische Parkgarage mit den oben genannten Zimmern zu verbinden; es gibt keinen Aufzug. Die Besucher werden ihre Gepäck leichter losladen, bevor sie in die Garage fahren. Die Hotel- und Restaurantführer sind über einen qr-Code-Leser auf ihren Telefonen zugänglich. Auf der Nitz-Picking-Vorderseite wäre es unmöglich, die Frühlingsbetttüren ruhig von außen zu schließen und ein paar weitere Handtücherhaken im Badezimmer wäre willkommen gewesen; auch, Sie müssen aus dem Bett ausgehen, um die Bettbeleuchtungen auszuschalten. Nachdem ich das gesagt habe, empfehle ich das Hotel herzlich. Beste Vorabprüfung, dass Ihr Besuch nicht mit den Equitier-Events passt, für die Golega bekannt ist.

A hotel that could be excellent with just a few extra touches. It’s quite noisy outside from the street and bars. The rooms have double glazing but we could still here voices and general noise. The room generally was quite small although very clean. The lack of tea and coffee making facilites seems like a basic oversight for a hotel like this. It really wouldn’t cost much to add this and it makes a difference to your stay. Breakfast was good and varied each morning. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were happy to speak Portuguese or English if needed. Parking is an issue. The hotel only has 4 spots outside and finding a parking space in the town is tricky. We parked up near the castle but it’s a walk to get to the hotel. Driving around the narrow streets of the old town looking for a parking spot can be…. Interesting.

We stayed at the Aurea Fátima Hotel as part of a travel package with Exoticaa. This hotel really takes pride in conserving energy. The first thing I noticed when going to my room was that the whole hallway was dark. Like completely dark other than the emergency exit lights! Not exactly what you want to see when you are in a new unfamiliar place. This hotel bills itself as a luxurious 4-star hotel, and it most certainly was not. I don’t know how the other hotels in Fatima look like, but this was definitely not a 4-star hotel. Maybe it was at one point in time? The hallways feature religious figurines in protected display cases in between each of the rooms. As an art lover, I enjoyed this nice touch. But it can be creepy when the hallway is dark and then it lights up and you see these. Upon entering the room there were complementary sweet treats and a bottle of water. A plus in my book, but that’s where it ends. Our black carpet had a large brown stain on it (how can you dirty a black carpet?!). The shower head was cracked and as a result water leaked out all over the bathroom floor. We only stayed here for one night, so I tried to put my blinders on and ignore this. We also had a balcony that overlooked the local bus station. Luckily this is a small town and everything closed around 21:00, so I did not have to worry about the noise. This certainly wasn't the cleanest hotel I've been at, but certainly wasn't the worst. A fellow traveler in our group had an issue with their shower not working in the room. Upon calling reception they unsuccessfully tried to work through the issues on the phone. Someone came up to their room in an effort to assist and found out that the shower was actually not working. As a result they were moved to a new room. Definitely points for quickly resolving the issue. The breakfast buffet is nothing to write home about. They have a lot of space, but not that many breakfast options. They also have a single coffee machine that the employees prefer you not to touch. They have someone standing there manning it acting as coffee police. Very odd. There is a Pingo Doce (supermarket) directly across the street. We didn’t visit it, but it was nice to have. It is also about a 15 minute walk from the Santuário de Fátima and the basilica.

This is a mixed review. We have returned from a week's stay. When we arrived at hotel all seemed OK until the 'group' got their rooms. The rooms were appalling. They do not reflect what is on the website, apparantly these rooms are for paying individuals but the groups get the 'classic' rooms. When I went to complain, many others were there too. The bathroom was totally inadequate and the shower was so old it soaked the entire bathroom. After a while the manager told me that there was one modern room left and I have to say this room was gorgeous! We thought it was perfect until we came home one day to find a leak at the aircon. Reception already knew about this when I reported it (although I was unaware continuing to use aircon). I had to be sharp to get a maintenance man to the room. When he did appear the water gushed out of the unit and ceiling. Thankfully he was able to stop the drip (towel stuffed up aircon-probbaly catching the drip). To, be fair we were offered a new room but I didn't want to leave. Rooms were spotlessly clean but this service was hit and miss - some days it was clean after breakfast and other days still not cleaned/fresh towels at 7pm. Waiting staff fantastic but most of the dinners were very poor. One evening the chicken curry can only be described as a dogs dinner. If you get chicken for lunch you will get the remainder bones and guts included for dinner 🤢 Groups are treated like 2nd class citizens in this hotel and I would reccomend anyone planning pilgrimages not to use it. The groups got different breakfasts while 'paying' guests got better food. The waiting staff would actually tell you ' you can't have that, that's for the other guests' All good is buffet style and it is replenished but very repetitive and I would say Only enjoyed 2meals the entire week. The free wine and tea/coffee is a nice touch. Elsa and carrina the 2 JWT tour guides were amazing.. Nothing was too much trouble and believe me we had alot of issues at times. They were the best tour guides I have ever had and I have been on 30+ pilgrimages. Steyler hotel need to stop false advertising their hotel.. Rooms with balconies are not even available yet advertised. Pool is not opened. This is not a 4 star hotel. One part of it may be but the other part looks like a hostel.
