Das Hotel liegt neben der Burg, 4 Kilometer vom Flughafen entfernt. Ich bin um 23:30 Uhr gelandet und habe eine Stunde bis zum Hotel gelaufen. Man findet es leicht, wenn man am Strand entlangläuft. Die Gegend wirkt sicher. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Frühstück reichhaltig. Morgens bin ich am Wellenbrecher der Seebrücke entlanggelaufen, habe einen Stadtlauf gemacht und den Sonnenaufgang beobachtet – er war wunderschön. Viele Kreuzfahrtschiffe legen hier an. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe der Altstadt und ist fußläufig erreichbar. Ich habe einen Flug von Tirana (Albanien) nach Athen mit Zwischenstopp in Heraklion gebucht, einen 16-stündigen Aufenthalt, aber ich hatte einen guten Eindruck. Es scheint ein chinesisches Restaurant auf der Insel zu geben, aber ich hatte keine Zeit, es zu besuchen.

My stay at The Royal Senses Hotel in Crete was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern luxury with traditional Cretan touches that create a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and offer breathtaking views of the sea, especially during sunset. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the high-end amenities, was thoughtfully curated for maximum comfort. I especially loved the private pool, which added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay. Dining at the hotel was a highlight, with a variety of restaurants offering fresh, delicious, and locally sourced dishes. The Cretan cuisine was outstanding, and the service was attentive and professional. There’s something for every palate, and I never had a meal that wasn’t top-notch. The resort’s amenities are equally impressive, with a spa that provides indulgent treatments, a well-equipped fitness center, and multiple pools perfect for lounging. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a base to explore Crete, The Royal Senses delivers on every front. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the island, with easy access to nearby beaches, charming villages, and historical sites. The staff also went above and beyond to offer recommendations and assist with arranging excursions. Overall, The Royal Senses Hotel is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Cretan hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Crete. Apartment Stella Paradise by Checkin is very conveniently located in Hersonissos - the main city beach is just 5 minutes walk around a corner, 10 minutes of pleasant walk to the city promenade with restaurants and bars, and no more than 20 minutes walk along the coastal line of hotels, restaurants and small pebble beaches to the best nearest sandy beach of Sarandari. The apartments themselves are quite budget style, but at the same time is very comfortable accommodation option for travelers who appreciate the optimal combination of price and quality. Our room consisted of a small bedroom, and a living room with a sofa bed and a small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge and kettle. For those who prefer to cook while traveling, there is a necessary minimum of cooking equipment, but we have ordered breakfasts, which were covered by Stella herself the owner of the apartments. I would like to say a special thank to Stella for all her help during our stay - she recommended wonderful restaurants and beaches, ordered taxi and table in the restaurant, and solved all the minor issues we had, this made travel planning very easy and made our stay very comfortable. Despite the fact that this is not a hotel but a complex of apartments, the room was cleaning every day. And a big advantage was the presence of a terrace where it was convenient to dry bathing suits after the beach, and drink a glass of wine in the evening. I will definitely stay here if I come to Hersonissos again.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich sauber und modern. Wir fanden die Betten sehr bequem und die Lage des Hotels in der Nähe der Altstadt und des Hafens war ziemlich praktisch. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet mit ein paar Stühlen, einem Arbeitsbereich, einer Kaffee-/Teestation, einem großen Fernseher und einem großen Badezimmer. Es gab im Zimmer genügend Steckdosen und viele Schalter mit Lichteinstellungen, um es genau richtig einzustellen. Wir schätzten den Balkon und die Aussicht, aber es fuhren jeden Abend einige Autos mit sehr lauter Musik vorbei. Die einzige größere Beschwerde, die wir hatten, war, dass die Dusche im Badezimmer unserer Zimmer sehr leicht leckte und der Boden in der Nähe der Toilette nass wurde. Das Frühstück im Hotel war ziemlich gut und umfasste eine Auswahl an kretischen Speisen wie Käse und Gebäck. Es gab auch frisches Rührei und eine sehr gute Wurst. Das Frühstück bot auch eine große Auswahl an eingelegten Früchten, die gut zum griechischen Joghurt passten, darunter Orangen, Kirschen, Trauben und Feigen. Wir fanden es gut, dass das Hotel in der Nähe des Central Parking günstige Parkplätze für 7 Euro pro Tag mit unbegrenzten Ein- und Ausfahrtsmöglichkeiten hatte, solange wir beim Einfahren einen Stempel bekamen. Das Hotel hatte auch ein Restaurant mit Zimmerservice und direkt gegenüber gab es ein beliebtes Café. Dieses Hotel war ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden, mit einer günstigen Lage in der Nähe des Flughafens und der Preis war für uns sehr fair.

Our stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day.  Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here. Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special. Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth. I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

Had a fantastic stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to rest. I chose this hotel because it’s perfectly located between Heraklion city center and the airport. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the airport, ideal for a late-night or early-morning flight, and it’s right next to two bus stops with direct connections to the center. I booked this hotel last minute and had great communication with the staff beforehand about the possibility of a double bed. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and it turned out to be one of the best rooms I stayed in during my three-month trip! The room was split over two levels, with the bed upstairs and a clean bathroom, workspace, sofa, and even a small terrace downstairs where you can relax. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The service was also wonderful: the woman at reception was really kind, and even when I checked out in the middle of the night, the staff member on duty was friendly and welcoming too. Thank you!

Heute bin ich wieder zu Hause gelandet, nachdem ich eine fantastische Woche in diesem familiengeführten Hotel verbracht habe. Ich kann Ihnen definitiv sagen, dass es einer der besten Urlaube war, die ich je hatte, voller netter Leute und großartigem griechischen Wetter. Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen, Sie haben viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Lidl ist nur 5-7 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Neben dem Hotel gab es ein tolles Café – gehen Sie weiter. Neben dem Hotel gibt es eine Bushaltestelle, von der aus Sie ins Stadtzentrum von Chania gelangen, wo Sie einen schönen Spaziergang machen und ein köstliches Abendessen genießen können. Das Hotel selbst ist im Apartmentstil gehalten und hat einen fantastischen Pool, der immer gut gepflegt und sauber war. Jeden Tag sorgten die Mädchen dafür, dass unser Zimmer sauber war und wir neue Handtücher hatten, und sie stellten ziemlich beeindruckende Arrangements aus Blumen und Handtüchern her 😁 Der Manager des Hotels war äußerst freundlich und ging immer effizient auf alle unsere Wünsche ein. Das Frühstück war köstlich und insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt äußerst angenehm. Besuchen Sie dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall, um die unglaubliche griechische Gastfreundschaft zu spüren.

Absolutely stunning place in a perfect location just a short stroll along the sea front to the historic old town of Chania and the Venetian Harbour. In the other direction an even shorter stroll to the harbour and Nea Chora beach - which has a ton of bars shops and restaurants. Property is directly on the seafront in a real tranquil location - with a beautiful pool and incredible sea views everywhere you stood. The staff were fantastic and even contacted me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to arrange my check in. Had my room ready early - which was fabulous. I was incredibly lucky to have a suite with a hot tub right on the sea front - beautifully decorated, fresh, clean and the views from the balcony were incredible. I believe breakfast is included for all guests, which was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food drinks and pastries. The only criticism is of myself that I didn’t stay longer. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Das gesamte Personal war großartig. Super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben sich wie eine Familie um uns gekümmert. Vor allem das Personal an der Strandbar war die Nr. 1. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe von Freunden zusammen und sie waren so aufmerksam und haben unserem Erlebnis viel Gelächter und Spaß verliehen. Ich würde dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.
