⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best Places to Stay in Phnom Penh! ActivateC3 Hostel is truly an amazing place to stay in Phnom Penh. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful atmosphere, cleanliness, modern facilities, and especially the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. The whole place has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. What makes ActivateC3 really special is the staff — professional, kind, respectful, and always ready to help. The service is outstanding and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Phnom Penh. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay in Cambodia! 🇰🇭❤️

Ein toller viertägiger Aufenthalt in Phnom Penh! Ich bekam ein Upgrade auf ein riesiges Vierbettzimmer, was fantastisch war. Die Lage ist hervorragend, die Dusche funktioniert einwandfrei, die Betten sind bequem und das Personal ist höflich, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Ich habe den Balkon sehr genossen, und der Pool ist auch schön. Negatives: Es gab viele Mücken im Zimmer und auf den Fluren. Das Frühstück war nur durchschnittlich. Am ersten Tag war es etwas beängstigend – ich hatte meine Zimmernummer vergessen und versehentlich meine Karte gescannt und damit das Zimmer einer anderen Person aufgeschlossen (zum Glück war niemand drin!). So etwas sollte nicht passieren, und es hat mir ein unsicheres Gefühl gegeben, zu wissen, dass jemand mit demselben Schlüssel hineinkommen könnte. Insgesamt war es aber trotzdem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Ich kann das Hotel aufgrund des tollen Zimmers, der Lage und des Services nur empfehlen!

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Das Zimmer ist einfach. Das Badezimmer ist nicht gut gestaltet. Die lange Badewanne hat keine Duschwand, wodurch der gesamte Badezimmerboden nass ist. Die Kosmetiktücher im Zimmer liegen ungeschützt auf dem Teetablett, was höchst unhygienisch ist. Das Frühstück ist zu einfach und besteht hauptsächlich aus lokalen Gerichten. Die Eierstation wird von einer jungen Dame bedient, die keine professionelle Ausbildung zu haben scheint. Das Personal ist nett, aber die Englischkenntnisse könnten besser sein. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit guter Lage und einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Unabhängigkeitsplatz vom Swimmingpool auf dem Dach.

Frisches Hotel neben dem Zentralmarkt Beste Empfehlungen, da die Lage super praktisch für alle Ihre Bedürfnisse in der Stadt ist, und wenn Sie ein Tourist sind, ist es einfach perfekt! Auf der anderen Straßenseite finden Sie den berühmten Zentralmarkt mit seiner Lebensmittelabteilung. Bitte verschieben Sie Ihren Besuch nicht, da die Tore gegen 17 Uhr schließen. Das Anwesen wurde gerade renoviert, ist frisch, wunderschön dekoriert und wirklich gemütlich. Das Zimmer ist schön und ruhig, obwohl draußen ein belebtes Viertel ist. Der Service war wunderbar, nett, freundlich und stand mit Ratschlägen für alle Bedürfnisse bereit. Ich hatte wirklich eine tolle Zeit!

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is safe, comfortable, and conveniently situated in the Riverside district. It has a good cost performance (i.e. price-to-quality ratio). Not everything is perfect, but the staff makes up for it, they are friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Nita who is fantastic, she is the nicest person and she helped me with all my requests). I originally booked a basic room until I found out a few days ahead the room had no window (I did not read the description carefully enough), so I upgraded for a “standard double room” with window. The first room I moved into did not have hot water. The hotel was not able to fix it, so eventually they moved me to another room where the hot water worked, which was great. The room did not have a chair and desk, but I asked the staff and they brought one. At some point, Nita helped me arrange a laundry load. It was done overnight and cost 3 dollars, so it seems the laundry is outsourced to a nearby business. At night, the street can be a little loud, there are many bars, KTVs and nightclubs located here. But it did not bother me, I could sleep through it easily. Many of the bars have hordes of pretty women who, beginning at dusk, sit outside and come ask you to drink with them. They get your attention by shouting “hello”, “come here”, “handsome” and “bong” (mister) as you are walking by. In any event, this did not bother me, I never actually felt harassed and could come and go the hotel as I pleased. The description mentioned the room would have a minibar, but my room didn’t have one. Probably I could have asked for it, but I realized I didn’t need one. One morning, there was a visit by the police, they were checking visas and passports from all foreign hotel guests. This was unexpected, but it went smoothly. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would probably come here again. Not everything is perfect, but I give it 4.5 stars (4 stars for the price/quality/location plus an extra half-staff bonus for the staff, especially Nita).

It's still my preferred choice due to the privacy of the very large ”coffins”. I really wish they had a urinal or the toilets separate from the showers (so that people don't go in there with their shoes for their 1's & 2's. The dorm has a very high ceiling and is quite large, so the two aircon units set to 17 barely get the place to maybe 23°. It can get quite humid in a capsule with the door closed.

Pros: Excellent value for the money. Hard to find better at this price point. The staff is attentive and helpful. 24-hour desk. Even the security guard, who probably doesn't get paid much, goes above and beyond to be of service and attentive. Reasonably clean. At least the linens are clean, even if some of the walls aren't. Another standout, is the breakfast. At this price point, it's rare to get a breakfast. But this breakfast is above average. It out performs some breakfasts I've had at much more expensive hotels. They have cereals, juice and coffee, some seasonal fruit. Fried eggs. But they also have a menu that changes from day to day with Asian style breakfast foods, fried rice or noodles. Some local Cambodian dishes. Soups or congee. Grilled vegetables or a variety of other interesting conditions. It varies from day to day. There are usually five or six warming trays with food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. Like I said, above average, especially at this price point. Hard to beat. I started thinking I should go back and get the breakfast sometime on its own merit, even if I'm not staying there. Overall. Well done. They are doing the best they can with the resources they have. And at this price point, it's hard to beat. Cons: The hotel shows some wear and tear; maintenance is always an issue in older buildings. It could use a refresh of paint. Some of the room configurations are a bit odd, where the bathroom door doesn't open all the way because of where they placed the sink and toilet. Occasionally, the title always will echo some sound from guests that haven't learned not to be loud late at night or early in the morning. But that's not the hotels fault that people aren't educated or respectful of others. The only negative part about this hotel location or the sketchy massage parlors that surround it. Some of them might offer legitimate services, but I get the impression that most of them are selling extra services based on the demeanor and dress of the people calling out to you as you walk by.

Sauberes und geräumiges Zimmer, das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, das Zimmer ist recht sauber Große Straße und in der Nähe gibt es auch indisches Essen, was für eine Mahlzeit in Ordnung ist Dieses Hotel liegt nicht weit vom Flussufer entfernt und ist gut genug für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Pool is not so clean, Trash aren’t pick up. staff are good and friendly. they have free laundry but the next problem is how to get it dry. i booked for 9nights and just stayed for 4nights. i asked them to help me have a refund for the remaining 5nights. but they kept on telling me they can’t do anything and won’t do a refund. well ofcourse they can if they only want but they take advantage in your change of plans. real PET FRIENDLY
