I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, mit einem einfachen und eleganten Design. Ich mag den kleinen Tisch am Fenster. Ich kann sitzen und Tee trinken, während ich aus dem Fenster schaue. Vor dem Fenster sind Reisfelder. Ich habe den ganzen Nachmittag dort verbracht. Es war so bequem! Das Zimmer ist komplett ausgestattet, Getränke sind im Kühlschrank vorhanden und das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und exquisit. Der Service des Ladens ist sehr aufmerksam. Im Dorf gibt es Verkehrsbeschränkungen, was etwas lästig ist. Der Chef ist mit dem Motorrad gefahren, um uns beim Abholen und Abgeben unseres Gepäcks zu helfen. Es gibt mehrere süße und wohlerzogene Katzen im Laden. Es macht großen Spaß, im Laden zu sitzen, die Katzen zu streicheln und mit dem Chef zu plaudern. Es war eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung und ich werde wiederkommen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit dazu habe.

✅Zunächst die Vorteile: Der Butlerservice war exzellent. Ich wurde vom Bahnhof abgeholt und mir wurde die ganze Zeit mit meinem Gepäck geholfen. Der Fußweg vom Bahnhof zum Hotel dauerte etwa 10–15 Minuten und war somit nicht besonders anstrengend. Zweitens bietet die Lage des Hotels eine unschlagbare Aussicht; sehen Sie sich dazu die Fotos an, die ich gepostet habe. Bei meiner Ankunft werden Getränke in der Lobby bereitgestellt. Außerdem gibt es jeden Abend zwei Portionen Suppe, dies hängt jedoch von der Zimmerkategorie ab; ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob dies auch in anderen Preiskategorien enthalten ist. Besonders positiv überrascht war ich vom hervorragenden Soundsystem im Zimmer. Ich kenne die Marke nicht, aber die Klangqualität war großartig, was eine angenehme Überraschung war. ⚠️Zweitens einige Nachteile: Die Wartezeit für die Zimmervorbereitung war übermäßig lang. Dies war kein Einzelfall; ich habe beobachtet, wie Gäste im Allgemeinen über 40 Minuten in der Lobby warteten. Dies könnte für ungeduldige Reisende problematisch sein. ✉️Abschließend möchte ich Ihnen einige Verbesserungsvorschläge machen. Wie in Abbildung (2) zu sehen, verfügt mein Zimmer über ein privates Thermalbad. Die Kerzen, Blütenblätter und Badebomben (die das Wasser rosa färben und duften) auf dem Foto habe ich jedoch selbst mitgebracht. Da das Hotel ein so schönes Ambiente bietet, würde ich mich freuen, wenn Sie einige dieser Annehmlichkeiten anbieten könnten. (Blütenblätter kosten weniger als 10 Yuan, Kerzen 5 Yuan und Badebomben sind mit ca. 20 Yuan pro Stück etwas teurer, und man benötigt 6 Stück. Es gibt aber günstigere Alternativen im Handel, und das Hotel könnte sie eventuell in größeren Mengen einkaufen.) Mein Zimmerpreis beträgt 2680 Yuan. Ich bin der Meinung, dass diese zusätzlichen Annehmlichkeiten das Erlebnis deutlich verbessern würden, da die meisten Gäste in dieser Preisklasse junge Paare sind. Ich hoffe, Sie berücksichtigen meine Vorschläge. Abschließend möchte ich Ihnen dennoch eine positive Bewertung mit 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 geben. Ich wünsche dem Hotel viel Erfolg und allen Freunden, die ins Dorf Miao kommen, eine angenehme Reise.

Die Einrichtungen sind vollständig und das Mädchen an der Rezeption bietet einen sehr guten Service. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und des Busbahnhofs. Es ist bequem zu reisen und ist sehr freundlich zu Freunden, die nicht mit dem Auto anreisen. Ausstattung: Waschmaschine und Trockner, kostenloser Regenmantel Hygiene: Hygienisch und sauber Umgebung: Die Steppdecke ist feucht und nicht sehr angenehm zum Schlafen Service: Begeisterte Rezeption, aufmerksamer Kundenservice

Ich kann dieses B&B wärmstens empfehlen! 1. Der Besitzer hat einen Parkplatz für uns gefunden, uns abgeholt, unser Gepäck getragen und uns zum Hotel gebracht. 2. Der Besitzer hat die Parkgebühr erstattet. 3. Das B&B ist fantastisch! Es liegt direkt am Fluss! Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend! Die Fotos sind atemberaubend! (Wir haben nachts Fotos gemacht, und der Besitzer hat uns gesehen und das Licht für uns angemacht.) 4. Der Besitzer hat unser Gepäck zusammen mit Obst aufs Zimmer gebracht! Es war sehr heiß, aber der Besitzer hat uns gefrorenes Obst gebracht! 5. Beide Besitzer waren unglaublich höflich und geduldig. Sie haben sogar einen Gruppenchat erstellt, um Informationen über die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt und Reiseführer auszutauschen. 6. Frühstück! Es gab nur lokale Spezialitäten, und die Reisnudeln waren unglaublich lecker! 7. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und neu! Insgesamt kann ich es wärmstens empfehlen! Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten! Dies ist meine erste herzliche Bewertung! Dieses B&B hat es verdient! Ich bin beiden Eigentümern für ihren hervorragenden Service, ihre Freundlichkeit und ihre Geduld sehr dankbar. Vielen Dank!

Die wenigen Tage im Pullman Guiyang Hotel waren der angenehmste Teil meiner Reise. Die stets lächelnde Dame an der Rezeption vertrieb das Gefühl der Enge, als ich zum ersten Mal in einer fremden Stadt ankam. Die Lage des Hotels ist noch überraschender. Der Bahnhof des Hochgeschwindigkeitszugs liegt gleich um die Ecke, und der Flughafen ist nur 20 Autominuten entfernt. Das Hotel ist sehr rücksichtsvoll gegenüber Reisenden, die ihr Gepäck schleppen müssen. Noch besser ist, dass es in der Umgebung viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt: Schlendern Sie abends zum Qingyun-Markt und probieren Sie beim Feuerwerk Guizhou-Sauersuppe, Fisch und Seidenpuppen. Wenn Sie den Jiaxiu-Turm bei Nacht besichtigen möchten, erreichen Sie ihn mit dem Taxi in zehn Minuten. Für einen Mitternachtssnack warten geröstete Hirnblüten und Eisgelee auf der Erqi Road Snack Street. Am Wochenende können Sie zum Qianling-Berg fahren, um Affen zu füttern, und die Altstadt von Qingyan besuchen, um Zhuangyuan-Schweinehufe zu essen. Die Fahrt dauert ebenfalls nur eine halbe Stunde. Bequemer Transport und freundlicher Service machen jede Reise einfach und komfortabel! ! ! ! !

Ausstattung: Da es sich um eine Bergstraße handelt, gibt es keinen Aufzug, aber die Höhe ist nicht sehr hoch. Und der Verkäufer holt Sie ab und trägt Ihr Gepäck für Sie, sodass Sie sich keine Sorgen machen müssen, ob Sie es selbst tragen können. Hygiene: Das Zimmer war komplett mit Desinfektionsmitteln ausgestattet, fühlte sich aber etwas feucht an, da es einen Monat vor unserer Ankunft in Guizhou geregnet hatte. Service: Die Butler sind 4 junge Leute, die abwechselnd Dienst haben, sodass sie auch noch sehr spät erreichbar sind, aber die einzigen Namen, die ich kenne, sind Xiao Pang und Xiao Liu. Insgesamt sind sie sehr enthusiastisch und der Service ist sehr gut. Zum Frühstück gibt es lokale Reisnudeln und den beliebten Eiermais, den Sie nach Bedarf probieren können. Umgebung: Das Hotel verfügt über ein Dach, von dem Sie die Lichter Tausender Häuser sehen können, und es werden Reisweinproben angeboten. Sehr gut geeignet für junge Leute zum Wohnen

The hotel is within walking distance to xiaoqingkong bridge. We had a good time over there. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean. I was not impressed with service though. First we couldn’t make the AC working right and the room was freezing. We called the front desk for help. The service person wouldn’t even enter our room to check and told us nothing could be done but to turn it off. Second, we ordered hotel transportation to take us the the tourist center the next morning at 7:15 so we could take an early train back. We arrived at the front desk to find out that no arrangements had been made and they called the driver after we got there and were ready to leave. The driver didn’t arrive until after 7:30, 15 minutes after our scheduled departure time! Luckily we planned a little extra time and didn’t miss our trains but the service was unacceptable.

Dieses Hotel ist das nächste Flughafenhotel, das ich jemals in China gehabt habe. Das Zimmer ist spitzig und spanig. Das Zimmer, das mir auf der achtten Ebene zugewiesen wurde, ermöglicht es mir, den Flughafenterminal, die Beobachtungsdecken, den Flughafenbahnhof und Flüge vom Flughafen deutlich zu sehen. Ich nehme den freien Rasor und Zahnbürsten zu Hause. Insgesamt bin ich sehr froh, dass ich in diesem Hotel wohne, aber das Hotelrestaurant ist nachts geschlossen und der Empfänger ist nicht um Zimmeraufträge zu nehmen. Ich esse Durian Brot im Hotelkafé nahe dem Konzern zum Mittagessen. Ich werde hier sicher nochmal im Oktober 2025 bleiben.

What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
