Booked this hotel as it was situated just off the main dual carriageway and had good road links to Cesena and Forli for trains and good links back to Florence and Pisa for the airport. The hotel is located in the heart of the town and the entrance isn’t visible from the road. It has its own carpark for €6 per night but there are lots of parking spaces around the town, white lined spaces are Free!! Blue lined space you have to pay for, so check the lines! Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and informative. The room was spacious and clean, there were two plugs one either side of the bed so being an adapter and extension cable for extra plug space, little mini bar that was reasonably priced and cupboard space with a little safe in. The swimming pool was warm and the roof opens in the summer. The attendant was knowledgeable and excited to explain that the pool is warmed by the natural springs and that smell of sulphur was from these springs and good for the skin. Pool was long enough to swim in and had bubble jets and falling water. There is also a bigger thermal spa available but we didn’t have time to make use of that. Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes etc, no hot option though. The only negative for breakfast was, staff served all the food, this was challenging with the language barrier and meant you had to ask for anything you wanted…. Town was lovely, lots of little shops and a few restaurants and bars. Towns folk were friendly and helpful and the little market was nice for local products. Lots of walking and cycling routes in the area too

Der Service ist sehr gut, die Rezeption ist freundlich und spricht gut Englisch. Der Ort, an dem Ihr Gepäck aufbewahrt wird, ist ein kleiner Raum. Die Rezeption gibt Ihnen den Zimmerschlüssel. Es ist eine sehr unsichere Tür. Die sanitären Bedingungen sind gut, aber das Badezimmer ist sehr kalt und die Einrichtungen sind etwas alt und nicht einfach zu benutzen. Da es Silvester war, waren die Hauspreise extrem hoch und wir entschieden uns für das günstigste. Wir beide, die über 180 Meter groß sind, schliefen auf einem kleinen Bett in einem kleinen Zimmer von mehr als zehn Quadratmetern. . Zum Glück bin ich an Silvester erst spät zurückgekommen, sodass ich vor der Weiterreise nicht ein paar Stunden schlafen konnte.

We are business travelers and our clients stay this hotel many times . It a standard 4 stars hotel , clean , staff and environment are good . Unfortunately this time had a bad experience on it . Never happened in this 4 star hotel . The staff given the room key and well check-in for our clients at Italy time 9:00pm , Once they entranced into the room . The room was occupied. We immediately run to the front desk , the stafff use 1 hour to handle the case and said not available the triple room . We didn’t said we must the triple room , we are 2 persons At least settled down for us at night time . She use 1 hour slowly motion to handle the case . And said we have 2 single room for us but need extra EURO20/per room means extra total EUR 40 more . At that moment we only accepted because at night 10pm . We never see this non professional skill on any star hotel . We are happy on their management. They want to understand what happened on their staff . Management will to listen and known what are the mistakes on their staff . Thank you for their management officers.

Struttura fronte mare camera essenziale buono il materasso con un bel topper molto pulita la stanza e devo dire anche la colazione non è male. Piccola pecca la silenziosità delle camere, non sono insonorizzate e un gruppetto di ragazzini è rientrato alle 3:30 facendo un bel chiasso in corridoio e una volta nelle stanze si sentiva il loro parlare.

Within walking distance from Modena station, Room was ready in the morning but we only dropped off our luggage as we had a Ferrari factory tour waiting ahead. We spent 2 nights there. I thought we had an hour free private usage of the spa area but seems not. Room was clean & staff were cheerful. The coffee machine was not working on the first night and I report it to the reception in the morning when we went out. They sent a staff to assist after we returned from sightseeing. Then, I noticed that they replaced the machine and leave extra capsules. However, there was no electric pot for hot water& they offered only one free bottle of water upon check-in.

Pros: - Located in a very central area of the town; - Cosy, nice breakfast area with varied choice; - Clean; - Friendly and welcoming staff. Cons: - It was high season but the price was way too high for a room shared by 4 people; - Too much chlorine in the jacuzzi; - Very narrow and old elevator; - Room for 4 with chargers only by the double bed and not the bunk beds. The bunk beds literally are hostel looking. The space is very small for 4 people to be in and move around. Me and my friends opted for this structure since we were keen on spending the 15th of August in Cervia, which justifies the high price, but we still had higher expectations.

We had a comfortable time at this hotel. Located just down the road from the station about a 2-3minute walk away, it was very convenient to get to coming into Parma by train. The area surrounding the hotel however felt just a little bit questionable at times, but then again the historic town centre is but a short walk away. The breakfast buffet was sufficient to fill you up to start the day, and service there was quite attentive. We didn’t get to try the other facilities, though, since we thought the pool would be closed considering it was winter. Overall, we had a nice stay at Novotel, and would definitely stay again.

Ich weiß nicht, was mit dem Hotel passiert ist, aber der Service hat durchweg nachgelassen. Wir waren dieses Jahr schon zum vierten Mal hier, und bisher war alles perfekt. Diesmal kam es mir vor, als käme ich in ein völlig anderes Hotel. Mein einziges Problem ist der Empfangsbereich. Alles andere ist wirklich schlecht geworden. Plötzlich waren die Kissen extrem unbequem. Flach, hart und ungleichmäßig gefüllt. Nach der ersten Nacht mit schlechtem Schlaf wurden wir gebeten, unsere Kissen auszutauschen. Obwohl sie bequemer waren, waren auch sie von schlechter Qualität, mit schlechter, ungleichmäßiger Füllung. Unterkunft. Am Freitag und Samstag standen bis fast zum Abend Behälter mit schmutziger Bettwäsche, Einwegkosmetik und Reinigungsmitteln in den Fluren, daneben zwei alte, kaputte Bügelbretter und alte Bügeleisen. Erst um 22 Uhr verschwanden diese Kisten und Wagen endlich, aber die hässlichen Bügelbretter blieben stehen. Der Samstagmorgen begann mit lauten Gesprächen vor der Tür. Verwirrt verließ ich mein Zimmer und sah 10 bis 12 Reinigungskräfte, die sich lautstark unterhielten und auf beiden Seiten des Flurs standen. Ist das denn normal? Nächster Punkt: Frühstück. Das Frühstück war immer reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und lecker. Aber diesmal nicht. Es gab zwar noch eine Käseauswahl, aber ansonsten hat sich das Angebot des Hotels deutlich verschlechtert. Es gab keine kleinen Häppchen, und gebackene Zucchini und Karotten gab es nur einmal von drei Malen. Das Obst, bis auf die Melone, war von schlechter Qualität und unreif. Das Frühstück war insgesamt ziemlich enttäuschend; für ein einfaches Drei-Sterne-Hotel mag es angemessen sein, aber nicht für das Carlton. Vor allem, da ich bei meinen drei vorherigen Besuchen keinerlei Beanstandungen hatte. Das Frühstückspersonal wirkte sehr entspannt und unterhielt sich lieber, anstatt seiner Arbeit nachzugehen. Das war überraschend und unangenehm. Deshalb dauerte es bis Sonntag, den 25. Januar, bis der Flur auf der Etage aufgeräumt und die unnötigen Gegenstände entfernt wurden. Die schief hängenden Bilder an den Wänden blieben jedoch schief. Der Gesamteindruck des Besuchs war deprimierend. Es wirkte, als ob das Hotel im Niedergang begriffen sei und sein einstiger Glanz nicht mehr ausreiche, um es zu retten. Die Zimmer selbst sind allerdings komfortabel, die Matratzen bequem, und im Badezimmer finden sich Einweg-Duschgels, Shampoos und andere Toilettenartikel. Der Empfangsbereich ist, wie bereits erwähnt, nach wie vor einladend und unproblematisch. Das übrige Personal hingegen hat Verbesserungspotenzial. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich die Fotos des unordentlichen Flurs, die die ersten beiden Tage zu sehen waren, zu Gesicht bekomme, aber ich werde es versuchen. Die Bar im Erdgeschoss ist ebenfalls in Ordnung – ausgezeichnete Desserts, köstlicher Kaffee und höfliches, freundliches Personal.

Ausgezeichneter Service von der Mitarbeiterin des Hotels, sehr freundlich und Service orientiert. Ich fühlte mich sehr komfortabel . Danke
