OVerall a lovely hotel and super nice staff at reception. Rooms are very spacious and nice comfy beds.
Slight communication error when we asked for a tuk tuk and he took us to somewhere we hadn't asked & good job I has my google maps to recognise we were headed to wrong place!
Pool is lovely for a swim and nice to have complimentary drinks at 430pm too with a little snack, the games area upstairs was fun too but just very hot up there.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn yesterday. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and created a really comfortable atmosphere. A special mention to Sanika, who was extremely customer-friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Her professionalism and warm approach made the experience even better. I also appreciated the hotel’s excellent follow-up, ensuring that everything was going smoothly. Overall, a truly pleasant and satisfying stay – highly recommended!

Typical Indian standard 4 stars Hotel setting and if got group the pool congested and busy wedding function. Breakfast limited non vegetarian menu.

Location was really good , the roof top view was the showstopper of the property. As we were travelling with an infant we found the staff very helpful with preparing the meals for the baby. Arabian sea view room was excellent.

Housekeeping in the room was not up to the mark and we were quite disappointed. Shower Gel and Tissue were not replaced and the shower area got clogged … despite complaining it wasn’t fixed.
The Tea Pods were not replenished in the Mini Bar.
In general housekeeping in room was not up to Taj standards we have been used to !

Our stay at Marriott Kochi was excellent! From the food to the service.. we couldn't have asked for anything more. They were on point for everything! We got a free room upgrade and the staffs were really going the extra mile for us. Food spread was excellent too. Our babies had a great time and actually requested us to take them back to the hotel when we checked-in to another hotel at another state the next day. Will definitely be back here again and highly recommended this hotel to everyone.. A big thank you once again to the management and staffs at Marriott Kochi for the excellent service!!

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful lake resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, so friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating.
The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and the whole atmosphere of the resort is peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place to unwind and relax.
The rooms were lovely, spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, with everything we needed for a perfect break. The food was another highlight, every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. A special mention to Jeeva in the restaurant, who made our dining experience even more memorable with such attentive and warm service but all of the restaurant staff were excellent and made every meal a pleasure. Also Anju who so lovely and again very attentive but I have to say every single staff member was so pleasant, which made our stay exceptional.
Can’t recommend this gem of a place enough, we are already planning our next visit!

Komfortable, Scenic und Family-Friendly Wir haben im Gateway Hotel Calicut für zwei Tage als Gruppe von 20 Familienmitgliedern, einschließlich Kindern, während einer Familienzusammenführung und Einberufungsceremonie verblieben. Wir hatten sechs Zimmer im 5. Stock reserviert, alle mit schönen Blicken auf das Meer und den Pool, was unser Aufenthalt extra besondere machte.
Das Hotelpersonal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, unterstützend und aufmerksam, um sicherzustellen, dass alle unsere Bedürfnisse mit Wärme und Effizienz erfüllt wurden. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sauber und sehr komfortabel, ideal für eine große Gruppe wie unsere.
Ein Schwerpunkt unseres Aufenthalts war das erfreuliche Frühstück, das ausgezeichnet war, eine breite und leckere Verbreitung von lokalen und kontinentalen Gerichten, die sowohl für Erwachsene als auch für Kinder gepflegt.
Insgesamt hatten wir eine erinnerebare und gründlich angenehme Erfahrung. Gateway Hotel Calicut bietet die perfekte Mischung von Komfort, Gastfreundschaft und Szenenschönheit. Wir empfehlen es sehr für Familien oder Gruppen, die die Stadt besuchen.

It was chaos trying to get a table as people were standing in the way eating. The lifts are also incredibly slow. Stopping on every floor. The rooftop pool is nice but has no view as the walls are too high.

We had made a booking without breakfast. As per trip.com offer breakfast rate was Rs 450 per person to be paid at the hotel. But the actual rates were Rs 750 plus tax. So double check the rates with the reception before availing.
