smithumsGreat value and comfortable stay. Only 10mins drive from Canberra Central. Room was smaller than expected but very clean and bed was comfortable. We were lucky to have the pool/spa/sauna to ourselves because we went during Winter. Underground parking for only $15/day with unlimited entry and exit. Highly recommend if staying in Canberra.

Disappointing, I participated in the National AGM of the largest association in the world and the hotel ran out of one of the most popular tap beer and white wine, just one hour after the guests checked-in/arrived.
The hotel advertised 1 hour happy hour every day but the Op Manager staff the bar with only one bartender. Guests lining up for half hour to get the happy hour deal, to be told, ”sorry, the 'happy hour' is finished.
The AGM room lighting set up absolutely poor, hard to see and hear anyone, the committee having to re-organise the room.
If it wasn't for the every day cleaning the room and the breakfast service, I would have ranked the hotel less than 3 stars, at @ 279/night.
I have stayed at other properties in Canberra, such as Kurajong Hotel, for less money but for exceptional experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room, comfortable bed, wifi, aircon and as a bonus they have a buffet breakfast. Great location with on-site parking included and the German pub right next door for dinner within walking distance

Wir reservierten ein Zimmer für drei Personen, aber zunächst fanden wir, dass das Zimmer nur zwei Sätze von Einrichtungen hatte, darunter Flaschen Wasser, Schläuche und Teebecher. Nachdem wir das Frontdesk angerufen hatten, wurde das Problem schrittweise gelöst.
Es gab Spider-Webs außerhalb der Fenster, die uns davon abhalten, sie zu öffnen.
Die Toilette machte gelegentlich ungewöhnliche Lärme, möglicherweise, wenn die Gäste in den benachbarten Zimmern flossen.
Mein Vater ging schwimmen, aber der Schrank würde nicht öffnen, wenn er versuchte, seine sauberen Kleidung zu bekommen. Wir riefen den Front Desk für Hilfe. Ein Mitarbeiter kam endlich, aber die Interaktion fühlte sich ziemlich kalt und fehlte irgendeinen Sinn für Entschuldigung, trotz der Unannehmlichkeiten, die mein Vater erlebt hatte.

Very clean, chic hotel with a popular restaurant and bar. It is conveniently located on Northbourne Avenue , Elouera St and Mort Street which is directly the line of Canberra's night clubs if you are coming on a weekend. There's only two sets of lifts for Hotel Clients which isn't a problem for an Asian ( moi) who is used to very crowded areas. But this can be a bit inconvenient for locals who are used to express service. Pool, gym, sauna. Major plus points. And the best part of all is the free bar fridge in the room. (Not sure if it was a promotion but my friend and I could drink all of what was offered for free!) We didnt because we are massive alcohol fans.
The only major downside is the 25 dollar parking fee. No, no no. You can raise the price a bit higher for the quality of rooms but it's a bit offputting to have that as an additional fee.
Overall, a pretty great experience from service to aminities.

Jelly1JellyHotel is in a very good city location with access to light rail, coaches, restaurants and shopping mall within walking distance. Free breakie for kids too which was good and breakfast offer itself was acceptable.
Apart from that you'd have to turn a blind eye to the state of the room itself (need to lower your expectations by a lot) , run down bathrooms ( needs major renovation), dusty bedsides and snack bar table, very crowded pool and lack of hotel car spaces.

The room was spacious and bed big and comfortable. The view was right to the pool area. The pool was heated nice and warm, big gym with great selection of equipment . The breakfast was good, but the coffee included was nothing special no barista coffee.

GastnutzerThis is the second time I've stayed at Ibis Styles & and unfortunately, my first impression was confirmed.
The reception thoughtfully offered me an upgrade from a deluxe queen room to a deluxe king room.
To be blunt, I'm not sure where the 'deluxe' came into it. And I was glad not to have booked a standard room.
The room was basic beyond description, apart from a king bed. No bedside lamp, opened milk in the fridge, doors hanging off their hinges, bathroom still had hair on the floor, not even a tea spoon.
Such a shame as the location is great.

We could not fault anything about the whole experience. The information desk staff were friendly and pleasant and all our requests ( meals, extra pillows,etc) were promptly actioned.
