Lovely hotel about 30 min walk from the main sites so ok. On a pretty busy road and our balcony was noisy because of that. The window insulation at night was good though. Breakfasts ok as long as you don’t arrive after tour parties who eat everything and it seems to take them too long to refill. Some mornings no chopped fruit, some mornings no smoked salmon. Room was massive and bed very comfortable. Quiet other than road noise. Pool would have been nice but wasn’t heated at all so in October was freezing and not useable which was a shame

Die Lage des Hotels ist super praktisch, mehrere Hauptattraktionen und der Basar sind fußläufig erreichbar, was das Reisen sehr entspannt macht. Das Familienzimmer ist perfekt für Familien oder Freunde, die zusammen reisen, die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm.
Das Hotel ist ein gemütlicher Familienbetrieb, egal ob die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, die Reinigungskräfte oder der Eigentümer selbst, alle sind unglaublich herzlich und freundlich, man fühlt sich wirklich wie zu Hause. Die größte Überraschung war, dass ich an meinem Ausreisetag Geburtstag hatte und das Hotel extra einen Geburtstagskuchen vorbereitet hatte – das war wirklich sehr aufmerksam und berührend!
Ich kann es Familien oder kleinen Reisegruppen wärmstens empfehlen.

Mind-blowing! The guesthouse is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants.
A true hidden gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was absolutely charmed by the incredible collection of vintage items and antiques on display. It’s like stepping into a cozy, living museum. Despite the antique decor, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spotless, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. He treated us with care and even prepared maps with highlighted sights to show us where the most interesting places were. If you want a stay with real character and soul rather than a standard, sterile hotel, this is the place to be!”

Große 3 Nächte im Movenpick Hotel mit allen Einrichtungen. Sehr bequem und nahe dem Gour Emir-Monument (4/5mn durch Fuß) und dem Registan-Platz (15/16mn). Viele Cafés und Restaurants rund um das Hotel, da wir das Hotel Frühstück nicht reserviert haben. Wir haben im Restaurant Caramelle zweimal gegessen (wirklich saftige Manti und schmackhafte Somsa & Soups) Wir haben die Sauna (Hammam war unter Reparatur) und die Fitness getestet. Wir hatten angenehme Getränke in der Poolbar. So können wir das Movenpick Hotel in Samarkand empfehlen. Und die Zimmerpreise sind sehr erschwinglich für ein 4,5/5* Hotel.

Great hotel. I had an Executive King room and I really enjoyed the executive part of it. Executive rooms are situated on the floors 15-18 for better views and also the complimentary access to the executive lounge from 8.00 to 20.00 hours is included in the price.

Im Hotel war es zwei Nächte. Insgesamt ist es ein schönes Hotel, wahrscheinlich wurde es vor ein paar Jahren erbaut. Das Frühstück war OK. Das Zimmer war sauber. Der Schwimmbad ist verfügbar. Lage ist nahe dem Kanal, obwohl es nicht im Stadtzentrum. Wenn Sie die Attraktionen in der Stadt besuchen möchten, müssen Sie vielleicht Taxi verwenden, da es kein öffentliches Verkehrssystem gibt, das dieses touristische Zentrum mit der Stadt verbindet.

The hotel is next to historical landmark Shah-i-Zinda necropolis. Registan Square is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute drive away.
Taxi drivers need to be given the exact location of the hotel, which is on an uphill road, otherwise they may be dropped off in front of Shah-i-Zinda Cemetery.
Hotel room is well equipped and wifi is stable.
Staffs are really helpful.
Fruits provided for breakfast are juicy.

We stayed at Shahram Plus SH for one night, with a short extension, and had a wonderful experience.
The location is excellent. It is in a quiet local neighborhood, just a short walking distance from Registan Square, the mausoleums, and the nearby bazaar. It feels peaceful and authentic while still being very convenient for sightseeing.
The courtyard is beautiful and traditional, with a charming and authentic design that reflects the local culture. Our room was very large and spacious, easily accommodating three guests. It was beautifully decorated, well heated, and also equipped with air conditioning. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices, which is always appreciated while traveling.
The bathroom was spacious and included a large bathtub and a western-style toilet. Free drinking water is available in the basement kitchen area, though guests need to bring their own bottles or cups.
One thing we especially appreciated was the generosity of the staff. We explained that we had booked a night train departing after midnight and asked if a later check-out would be possible. They kindly offered us a much later check-out so we could relax and freshen up before heading to the station. We truly appreciated this flexibility. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout our stay and treated us like part of their family.
Breakfast was also very good. The dishes were local, freshly made, filling, and delicious.
A couple small notes for future guests: the toilet paper may not meet Western European standards, so you may wish to be prepared. Also, the beds are quite firm. If you are a side sleeper, the firmness may take some adjustment.
Aside from these minor points, the rest of our stay was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for its location, authentic atmosphere, and the incredible service from the entire staff.

AAmitendraWe absolutely loved this hotel. It's location is great and the staff are amazing especially the front desk. There is no lift but the reception staff helped us with the bags. We paid for a more premium room but it was on level 3 so we asked to be changed to room on a lower level and it was great. The Georgian restaurant inside the hotel is amazing. The food is great and the staff were amazing. Will definitely stay there again.

SSarah H.Wir mussten unseren Aufenthalt aus praktischen Gründen verlängern und beschlossen, im gleichen Hotel zu bleiben. Das Zimmer ist sauber und komfortabel, sie bieten Wasserflaschen und Ahmed Tee, das ist das Beste.
Das einzige, was fehlt, ist ein Bidet im Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war ok. Die Lage ist zentrale, ein paar Minuten zu Fuß von allem, was Sie in Samarkand sehen müssen. Und ein 15-minute Fahrt vom Bahnhof. Der Mann, der am Rezeption am letzten Abend arbeitete, war nicht so angenehm wie die ersten beiden, als er uns auf dem Weg zum Zimmer für die Steuern, die wir zahlen mussten, weil wir unseren Aufenthalt verlängert haben. Er hätte es anders tun können und uns gebeten, während wir auscheckten oder uns einfach gesagt, dass wir bezahlen, wenn wir die Chance haben, das zu tun, was in anderen Hotels üblicherweise geschieht. Aber stattdessen musste ich mehrmals zurück und wieder gehen, um ihn mit der Karte zu bezahlen, weil er nicht herausfinden konnte, wie man die Kartenterminal funktioniert. Ich war so müde und wollte nur das Badezimmer nutzen und schlafen und er würde mich bitten, eine Stunde auf seinen Manager zu warten, und dann erzählen Sie mir, wie die Dinge in Hotels weltweit gemacht werden, als ob ich nicht wusste, Ich habe in Hunderten von Hotels geblieben... Ich habe ihn doch nur neu und etwas schrecklich erfunden, aber es war nicht notwendig, dass der Ton absteigend oder zu behaupten, dass wir gehen würden, ohne die Steuern zu zahlen...

MMladenowskiWir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Obwohl es nur 4 Sterne hat, bietet es Annehmlichkeiten und Service, die mit manchen 5-Sterne-Hotels vergleichbar sind. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und verfügte über einen Balkon, ein makellos sauberes Badezimmer und vier kostenlose Flaschen Wasser – und das, obwohl wir zu zweit reisten. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren freundlich und hilfsbereit und organisierten unseren privaten Besuch im Spa und am Pool, den wir sehr genossen haben. Das Frühstück war köstlich und bot eine größere und bessere Auswahl als so manches 5-Sterne-Hotel in der Nähe.
Die einzigen Nachteile waren die Lage der Zimmer, die sich außerhalb des Hauptgebäudes befinden, das Fehlen eines Aufzugs und die offenen Gänge, die die Zimmer mit dem Speisesaal und dem Spa-Bereich verbinden. Dies kann in kälteren Monaten wie Februar unangenehm sein, daher ist warme Kleidung empfehlenswert.
Dieses Hotel ist definitiv das beste Angebot in der Gegend und liegt nur 10 Gehminuten von den Hauptattraktionen Samarkands entfernt.
