Schönes Hotel, Aussicht war wunderschön, als wir vom Zug auf der Station stammen. Sehr erstaunlich, dass wir kostenlose Upgrades zu den Zimmern mit Parkaussichten, die so erstaunlich war. Wir nahmen viele schöne Bilder der Aussicht. Das Frühstück war auch sehr beeindruckend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und erbracht einen guten Service mit Lächeln. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt enorm.

Das Hotel Amsterdam ist nur neben dem Miffy Wonder Square. Obwohl ich dieses Mal nicht in der Lage war, das Themenzimmer Miffy zu buchen, war das Zimmer, das wir geblieben haben, auch sehr gut genug. Super geräumig mit WC und Badezimmer getrennt. Das Frühstück mit Buffet war auch großartig. Hatte einen komfortablen Aufenthalt und ich komme zurück, wenn ich das Haus Zehn Bosch wieder besuche.

Private entrance to Huis Ten Bosch takes you almost directly to the flower fields. They provide free loaner umbrellas which was handy as it rained one day during our stay. Breakfast was decent with a variety of western and Japanese foods. It is nice that breakfast is offered for quite a while so you have flexibility when eating. They were very helpful with storing luggage early and picking it up late so we could spend our time enjoying Huis Ten Bosch without worrying. My husband had a guitar and they personally held it in a protected location as they also have automated luggae storage. Facilities were clean and maintained although not new. Front desk spoke flawless English. Overall a pleasant stay. 

This hostel has some genuinely strong points, but also several issues that stop it from being a great stay. It’s very much a mix of highs and lows. The positives: The common room is comfortable, with very good sofas and fast Wi-Fi (though it occasionally drops out — a router upgrade would easily fix this). There’s a shared kitchen with a labelled fridge, and the location is excellent for exploring Nagasaki. Dorm rooms are good value for the price. Bed spaces are a decent size, with excellent blackout curtains that block light even if others leave the lights on. You also get a small lockbox for valuables. The negatives: Check-in is fully self-service with no reception. You’re given a folder with rules and keys, but if you need help, there’s no clear support — which can be stressful, especially for travellers without phone SIMs. There is no lift. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the narrow stairs make carrying luggage difficult. Facilities per floor are also limited: only one toilet and one shower shared between multiple dorms, plus the washer and dryer on the same floor, which feels insufficient and awkward. Extras are all paid separately (towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, etc.). A towel really should be included at this price. Guests are also expected to strip their own bedsheets at checkout, which feels excessive. The common room layout could be improved. A large hammock takes up space and reduces seating — replacing it with chairs or bar seating would make the area far more usable. There were also staff or long-term workers frequently occupying the common room, which made the space feel less guest-focused. Air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted, so if you’re too hot or cold, you have no control. Would I stay again? As a backpacker on a very tight budget, yes — tahe location and price make it workable. But if you can afford it, I’d recommend paying more for a private room nearby. There are many hotels in the area offering much better comfort and support.

I was quite disappointed with this booking made via Trip.com. I specifically booked a Deluxe Japanese Western style room with an outdoor hot bath, as the outdoor hot bath was a key reason for choosing this room. Upon check-in, I discovered that there was no outdoor hot bath, and I was informed that the room I had booked was not available. Initially, I was told that I had booked a room that did not include a hot tub. However, after checking my booking details, it was clear that the room I reserved was indeed supposed to come with an outdoor hot bath. To their credit, the hotel staff did try to assist by finding a last-minute alternative room that still had a bathtub that comes with a view. However, this replacement room had a much more limited view compared to the original room we had chosen, and it was not equivalent to what was advertised and booked. Additionally, the window in the room was quite flimsy and dirty, and with the temperature being rather cold, this further affected the comfort of the stay. Because we had a very limited itinerary, a significant amount of time was spent resolving this issue and arranging a replacement room. As a result, some of our planned activities had to be cancelled, which further impacted the overall experience. Overall, this was a rather disappointing experienc eespecially because this was the first time I had booked this type of room as a surprise for my girlfriend, who was really looking forward to the outdoor hot bath. Unfortunately, the key feature that made this booking special was missing, which significantly affected the stay. I hope that Trip.com can take note of this issue and ensure that rooms are marked as unavailable once fully booked, to prevent similar situations from happening to other guests.

Very good service, lovely location and environment. Very nice onsens, and the restaurants were all very nice.

Sie trugen mein Gepäck aufs Zimmer, was sehr hilfreich war. Das große öffentliche Bad war geräumig, die Umkleidekabine hingegen zu klein und die Tapete etwas rau. Kurz vor der Abreise wurde es im Zimmer extrem heiß, sodass man sich kaum noch aufhalten konnte. Die Lage ist recht gut.

Ausstattung: Ein traditionsreiches japanisches Hotel mit umfassender Ausstattung. Ambiente: Sehr gut. Sauberkeit: Bei längeren Aufenthalten sollten Sie die Zimmerreinigung unbedingt vorab an der Rezeption bestätigen. Andernfalls stellten wir bei unserer Rückkehr um 19:00 Uhr fest, dass das Zimmer nicht gereinigt worden war, und uns wurde die Reinigung in Rechnung gestellt. Service: In Ordnung; erfordert proaktive Kommunikation mit anderen Gästen. Natürliches Onsen Tsurukawa no Yu: Der Innenbereich ist etwas klein; nicht geeignet für längeres Baden. Spätabendsnack – Yoonaki-Sojasauce-Ramen: Sehr lecker; unser Kind hat es während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts zweimal gegessen und ist über den Sommer ordentlich gewachsen.

Vielen Dank für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel und das Personal war höflich und freundlich. Das Hotel verfügt außerdem über hervorragende Einrichtungen, sodass Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts entspannen können. Die Lage war praktisch und sehr hilfreich für Besichtigungen und den Transport. Wenn ich nochmal die Gelegenheit dazu habe, werde ich Ihren Service auf jeden Fall wieder in Anspruch nehmen.

The hotel is centrally located and is near a long shopping stretch. In the area there are a lot of good food places. The public bath is great and convenient to use, and the room is spacious enough for me to relax. Travelling from the train station to the hotel with luggage is just tedious.
