Wir reservierten letzte Minute für den Bridgwater Carnival, so dass das Hotel beschäftigt war wie erwartet, aber eine perfekte Lage. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und das Handtuch war gefärbt, aber das Bett war komfortabel. Wir hatten Cocktails in der Bar vor dem Karneval und die Barmeister schien stressig, aber erwartet, da es so beschäftigt war. Wir hatten nachher Abendessen im Restaurant und obwohl es schön war, war der Bier nicht so nett wie ich erwartet. Die Cocktails waren wieder schön und alle in einer angenehmen Reise. Wir hatten einen kleinen Check-in-Hiccup, da das Hotel nicht das Geld von trip.com erhalten hatte und wollte unsere Karte bezahlen. Ich habe sie am Morgen gemeldet und das wurde klar, bevor wir auscheckten.

The hotel was really beautiful and they’ve tried to keep it’s original charm. The building is really old and basic amenities are made available. The staff was very accommodating towards us and the other guests were really wonderful to interact with. I really enjoyed my stay, there was a bus service right by the hotel to the city centre, but the climb up was also fun. The breakfast was very good as well. I just expected a few more toiletries for such a heritage space, but that’s not really something that put me off. Overall, I think the place has real taste and tried its best to provide an authentic experience. I’m glad to have chosen them.

Das ist ein sehr englisches Hotel, das sich direkt auf der anderen Seite der Straße der Taunton-Bahnhof befindet, aber nicht schwach. Obwohl es in der Geschichte lang aussieht, ist es sehr gut, das Frühstück ist englisch, das Gewicht ist sehr gut, der Geschmack ist sehr gut, ich persönlich mag es. Aber es ist schließlich ein altes Haus, ohne Elektronik, und es ist sehr unkomfortabel, dass es viele Gepäck gibt. Außerdem ist es schwierig, Wasserhaken und Blumen zu steuern, die Wassertemperatur kann schwindlig werden! Aber die Wärme ist wirklich gut und auch handvoll.
Die Dame ist hier sehr schön und geduldig.

Ein sehr bequemer Ort, nur wenige Minuten vom Busbahnhof. Und das Zimmer war komfortabel und angenehm zu bleiben. Ich genossen wirklich, dass mein Zimmer ein Bad hatte, wie ich am Ende des Tages benötigte, um zu entspannen.

Große Verwirrung hinsichtlich der Bettgröße. Ich dachte, ich hätte ein Doppelbett gebucht, da ich die Option mit 2 Einzelbetten auf Ihrer Website ignoriert hatte. Aber am Ende bekam ich ein Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten. Ich verstehe ihren Standpunkt, es war ein Standardzimmer, aber man ließ mich glauben, ich hätte ein Zimmer mit 1 Bett gebucht, obwohl ich davon ausging, dass es ein Doppelbett war. Das Personal im Hinterzimmer reagierte nicht gerade positiv auf mein Problem. Ich konnte sie murmeln hören: „Hätte für ein Doppelbett bezahlen sollen“, obwohl die Rezeptionistin an der Rezeption tat, was sie konnte, aber sagte, dass keine Doppelbetten verfügbar seien.

我非常喜歡這家酒店的周邊環境，完全是中世紀的風格，門口有一家修道院，可以參觀，非常壯觀。還有一個類似城堡的古建築，周邊有護城河，河裡有天鵝。房間需要爬樓梯上樓，樓梯很有趣。早餐是點餐制。非常好吃。有麪包香腸炒蛋。還有培根。還有布萊克布丁。車可以停在門口。我們是晚上9點到的，第2天10:00走的。這段時間沒有收費。我如果再去wells,還會選擇這家酒店。感謝店家的熱情款待！令人賓至如歸。

I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase.

This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later.
The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form.
🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite.
The bed was very comfortable.
❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

MMatchy WuWe were assigned room nos. 226 and 227 this time. The rooms are more spacious than those rooms near the two lifts by the front desk. It is good to see familiar faces of the front desk staff as always. They are all very friendly and helpful, offering kind assistance during our stay. The only unexpected “hiccups” are the noises produced by the air conditioning inside the rooms, particularly room no. 226, we have been hearing machine noises running in a 20-second intervals the whole night, quite annoying! Other than this, our stay has been fairly comfortable. Staff professionalism is wonderful with this hotel! We will certainly come back but hope will get a quieter room next time.

KKieran Tan8 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Bath SPA entfernt, wirklich schöner Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück, saubere Zimmer und eine praktische und komfortable Lounge.
Nur wenige Gehminuten bis ins Stadtzentrum von Bath und Starbucks ist gleich um die Ecke.
Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

GGastnutzerAmazing value for money; simple selections of food, compact no frills chalets: could do with a bit of attention to detail with deep cleaning; decent bedding and towels, fantastic and varied entertainment generally throughout the day and late into the evening; most acts are really good. Nice to be able to set up to work remotely in the ballroom during the day and take in the fun that holiday makers are having. The Blue Coats are an engaging team. Drink prices are OK for a setting like this. We are 53 and 58 and on the younger scale of most holiday makers but whatever age, this adult only holiday park delivers quality for money hands down. Bus travels from the road outside the site to Weston Super Mare hourly during the day; beach is just a walk away down the site entrance. Taxi's are affordable if a comfi trip into town is wanted. Can imagine how amazing this establishment will be in summer (and they don't seem to hike the prices to eye watering levels during the warmer months). The range of themed weekday stays (4 days Mon-Fri) and weekend (Fri-Mon) are varied. We need to be in the WSM area for a couple of months - staying at various hotels / establishments, but now we have found Sand Bay, we have chosen to book here for several weeks back to back. For that reason, we have brought our own bedding with us, to personalise our chalet and make it more homely for our extended stay. Reception team are generally welcoming and efficient and Jade the holiday booking team member is ever so helpful. Well done Sand Bay!

AAnonymer BenutzerIt was a very pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. The room was generally clean but the reason why I gave four for cleanliness is because the pillow was somehow a bit dusty.
One thing to address was that at times the lift smelled bad and the corridor we stayed on smelled as if someone was smoking in the room. I understand tho guests’ behaviour is sometimes not necessarily under their control. Hence, it didn’t affect my ratings.
I would definitely stay again because it was good value for money!

早上和晚上分別有2小時的免費温泉，總共3個池子，還有幹蒸、紅外、濕蒸3種桑拿室。就是外國人的體驗方式不適合咱體質，馬上就感冒了。
