Ideal location for a trip to Bath - it’s all on your doorstep! Nice staff and room was pleasant enough. Breakfast could be better but you get what you pay for. Used the gym too which was nice to have. But if you want Bath on your doorstep and to be able to walk everywhere it’s ideal!

Nur wenige Gehminuten bis ins Stadtzentrum von Bath und Starbucks ist gleich um die Ecke. Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The property is somewhat dated, and the soundproofing could be improved, as noises such as snoring from neighboring rooms can be heard. Cleanliness is generally acceptable; however, some areas show signs of wear. For example, the drinking glasses had residual marks, likely due to age, and the bedding had small stains—not hair but some fibers of unknown origin. On the positive side, the spa was very relaxing, the house offers plenty of space, and all facilities are complete and in good working order. Additionally, the location is convenient, with restaurants nearby, making dining out easy and accessible.

We enjoyed staying at the Lansdown Grove Hotel on a recent short break in Bath. The hotel is around a 15 min walk from the centre of Bath and it was useful having a parking space at the hotel. The staff were helpful and attentive, and the accommodation comfortable and well set out. Thanks!

We got a family room, the fold out bed was not made and the quilt was dirty/stained. The staff changed the room for us and this time is was Ok. Cutlery at breakfast had to be wiped down before use. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was close to the Centre

Ich habe mit drei anderen Leuten im Apex City of Bath Hotel in einem Zimmer mit zwei Queensbetten geblieben. Das Zimmer war groß, komfortabel und hatte ein Fenster, das schön war. Das Hotel ist etwas weit vom Bahnhof entfernt, etwa einen 10-minute Spaziergang, aber es ist ein einfacher Spaziergang zum Stadtzentrum, was etwa 5-7 Minuten dauert. Der Preis war gut, vor allem da ich einen Rabatt auf Trip.com nach der Buchung von Bahntickets. Im Vergleich zur Apex City of London war dieses Hotel etwas weniger begeistert. Das London Hotel hatte mehr besondere Dinge für Geburtstags, wie kostenlose Extras. Wir haben das Frühstück des Hotels nicht versucht, aber es gibt viele gute Orte für das Frühstück in der Nähe. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt schön. Wenn Sie sich nicht ein bisschen zu Fuß gemütlich machen, ist es eine gute Wahl. Nächstes Mal könnte ich in einem Hotel noch im Zentrum der Stadt bleiben.

I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

Angenehme Musik, schöne Beleuchtung und wunderbare Lage des Zimmers. Die Mitarbeiter sind so süß und geduldig wie auch.  Das Essen war großartig und gab Wahlen für Vegan. Die Musik ist schön, die Lichter sind weich und die Zimmerordnung ist komfortabel. Das Personal ist sehr intim und sehr geduldig. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und berücksichtigt alle Experten.

Greasy hotel, but with a touch of style. I really liked the red carpets and the spacious staircases—especially since I’m not a big fan of lifts. The large parking area right in front of the sea was a great bonus, and the building itself looked quite nice from the outside. For what I paid, it was excellent value.

Can not fault this b&b for the price well mannered owners/staff always happy to help rooms clean and tidy and bed very comfortable 1st night sleep where I’ve slept for over 8hours without waking up and I’m a light sleeper didn’t ever hear them in morning cleaning other rooms ready for next guest would defo recommend 😷

Staff are nice and welcome us, it is a super comfortable experience to stay at this hotel. Highly recommended

Schöne komfortable Ort zum Aufenthalt. Frühstück schön!

Wir blieben 1 Nacht, um eine lange Reise zu unterbrechen. Ausgezeichnete Lage direkt bei Taunton Deane Services. Einchecken war schnell und einfach, Zimmer war groß mit Doppelbett und Einzelbett für unser 9 Jahre alt. Es war sauber und warm perfekt für uns. Wir werden definitiv wieder verwenden

Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer ist sauber. Als ich nach Kamillentee fragte, bat er mich, ihn an der Rezeption zu holen, und er gab mir ein paar, ich war sehr dankbar. Das Frühstück ist nicht so toll, keine Tomaten, Pilze oder Rösti, um den salzigen Speck zu ergänzen. Kein kaltes Wasser in der Nähe, aber trotzdem gut. Die Lage ist leicht zu finden, aber etwas weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, ich hatte etwas Näheres erwartet.

Freuen Einrichtungen gut. Essen gut. Es kann nicht wirklich falsch. Betten komfortabel.

Das ist ein sehr englisches Hotel, das sich direkt auf der anderen Seite der Straße der Taunton-Bahnhof befindet, aber nicht schwach. Obwohl es in der Geschichte lang aussieht, ist es sehr gut, das Frühstück ist englisch, das Gewicht ist sehr gut, der Geschmack ist sehr gut, ich persönlich mag es. Aber es ist schließlich ein altes Haus, ohne Elektronik, und es ist sehr unkomfortabel, dass es viele Gepäck gibt. Außerdem ist es schwierig, Wasserhaken und Blumen zu steuern, die Wassertemperatur kann schwindlig werden! Aber die Wärme ist wirklich gut und auch handvoll. Die Dame ist hier sehr schön und geduldig.

Hallo, wir bleiben hier mit meiner Freundin für das zweite Mal. Welche wir für Sie bequem halten, für Reisen können Sie früher als andere Hotels auschecken Aber für uns ist es kein Problem Mit einer Küche für Kunden kann auch kochen Wenn es eine Chance, wieder sicher zu bleiben

Die Rezeptionistin ist sehr freundlich, mein Englisch ist nicht gut, sie ist auch sehr geduldig, um mit mir zu kommunizieren Aber... Der Raum ist sehr kalt, und die Temperaturerfassung der Elektroheizung ist offensichtlich sehr niedrig eingestellt, was natürlich Stromkosten spart, aber nur verhindert, dass die Kunden wieder bevormunden.

Ich reservierte nur eine Nacht ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer. Wir waren sehr glücklich mit unserem Zimmer, das geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet war. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel wie die Kissen. Die Gäste waren warm und freundlich. Es gibt Parkplätze im Hotel, aber das wird von NCP betrieben und kostet nur unter 10 £ für einen 24-Stunden-Aufenthalt. Zahlung ist über eine APP, so empfehle ich, dass Sie es auf Ihrem Telefon installieren, bevor Sie ankommen. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, mit Bar oder Karte bei der Maschine zu bezahlen. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr charmant, mit einzeln eingerichteten Schlafzimmern und einer Reihe von Zeit- und Möbeln in den öffentlichen Zimmern. Wir trafen meinen Sohn zum Abendessen in einem nahe gelegenen Restaurant zum Abendessen, so dass wir nicht zu dem Abendessen kommen konnten und wir aus dem Frühstück gewählt haben, da wir einen frühen Mittagessen arrangiert hatten. Wir genossen einige Cocktails in Brazz, wo der Service und die Qualität der Getränke geschätzt wurden.
