Checking in was quick and friendly. Bell boys kind and helpful. Loved our ocean view room. Food was ok. Plenty of pool chairs. Fantastic entertainment team was energetic, engaging and fun. Water aerobics everyday! Kept the day lively! Great location. Nice breeze at pool and lobby bar. Air conditioning in rooms good! Have stayed here multiple times with groups of our friends from Minnesota! Tryed other resorts in ixtapa but keep coming back to the Park Royal!

Ich habe für eine Geschäftsreise in diesem Hotel geblieben und das Hotel ist nichts über Geschäfts- und Spaß, was sehr laut und schrecklich bedeutet, wenn man auf dem Telefon arbeiten und sich auf Arbeit konzentrieren muss. Wenn es eine Spaßreise gewesen wäre, hätte ich das besser bewertet, aber wenn Sie in Ixtapa im Geschäft sind und das lesen, bleiben Sie nicht hier, da es nicht nur schwer zu arbeiten, sondern die nicht-stop-party-Atmosphäre ist klimatisch. Reinigkeit?? Hmmm so... Noch einmal, wenn ich auf Urlaub wäre, würde ich vielleicht Dinge passieren lassen, die ich erwarten, dass sie arbeiten, wenn ich arbeite. Die Umgebung ist so schön, dass es das Hotel bei der Verwaltung unterstützt.

It was our first time in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and indeed it was a pleasant surprise, the hotel is not new but it is well maintained, we had a suite with 2 nice balconies. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the food was quite good and they had plenty of daily activities and shows every night. The visitors were mainly families with small children and they have a nice adults only section! We would gladly go back specially after a couple of months that there will be a direct flight on VIVA from MTY where we live starting in July. Nowadays you practically lose a day flying thru Mexico city. There were plenty of people in the hotel and on the beach starting in Friday. One situation I consider a drawback and didn’t like is that the sea is very agitated and the tide is very strong tries to get you back into the sea, the lifeguards at the hotel don’t let you go far into the water where the waves break, the put up a BLACK FLAG which means don’t go into the water, I had never seen that before. I understand there are other beaches where the waves aren’t as strong, we were at beach EL PALMAR, I was told there are good hotels in other areas like LA ROPA and LAS GATAS In summary the hotel is nice if you enjoy the pool which by the way has warm water and being at the beach and just barely going into the sea, if you enjoy going into the sea freely I would look for other option in accomidations

Sehr schöner Ort, aber ein bisschen von einem gemischten Tasche wie andere haben darauf hingewiesen. Sicherlich wählen Sie sich für den europäischen Plan und nicht das ganze inklusive. Wenn Sie suchen und AI am besten nach der nächsten Tür zu gehen Hotel ist von 99% lokalen, so Basis Spanisch ist hilfreich. Positive sind die Lage und die Zimmer während ein bisschen größere und sehr gut gepflegt. Preisgestaltung ist auch gut, wenn Sie das Zimmer ohne Paket reserviert. Upgrade von Bergblick auf den Ozean war 20 USD pro Nacht. Gut wert für die Ansichten und ruhig. Sie werden von dem Pool aber und Veranstaltungen lauten. Negative sind das Fehlen von Schatten, da die Kabinen die Thatch-Strukturen ersetzt haben. Towel Spiele erhöht am Wochenende mit dem Einfluss der Kommunen, so mussten wir Hilfe erhalten, um sogar ein Paar Grasstühle, wie die Menge war “reserviert” Eis muss aus der Bar, die nicht angemessen ist, weil es nur 3 und sie nicht öffnen bis 11. Eine öffnet nur am Nachmittag. Buffet war ok, aber weit unter der Auswahl weise, was man bei einem Riu oder Bahia finden würde. Würde schnell müde. Lärm ist ein Problem. Die Pool-Musik-Volumen sind super hoch und das Witzen des Wasserführers ist super irritierend täglich. Alles und alles. wert einen Besuch, aber vielleicht nicht einen Rückbesuch.

We had a standard room and it was perfectly good as we wanted to spend time exploring the town and enjoying the beach. The room was ideal in that it was spacious, had its own bathroom and kitchen area. As we ate out all the time the kitchen was only used for breakfast. The bathroom had a powerful shower and loo whilst the wash basin was separate. The bed was very comfortable and there were spare pillows and blankets available. The air conditioning worked well and there was a ceiling fan. We had a short walk to the pool, down to the beach or the restaurant or up the stairs to the road. I would not recommend staying here if you find stairs a problem as there is no elevator. I did feel the reception desk should have had more information about the town but besides that they were very helpful; printing our boarding passes and organising laundry. My one complaint was that quite often the sunbeds were pre booked with a towel and then empty for much of the day. A delightful place to stay if you want a relaxing beach holiday.
