I chose this hotel as I wanted to be in the Amsterdam area but not in the city and it was very reasonably priced and had free car parking. The hotel is located in the suburb of Zaandam and is one of the more modern B&B hotels and at the time I stayed there in June 2022 was undergoing renovations to transform the rooms from their former Ibis Budget style rooms to the better, I think B&B style rooms. The hotel has a modern look and when I arrived it looked to me that it was kind of a life-size Lego building and that they had run our of the grey bricks and used some red, blue, white and yellow bricks here and there. Check in was easy and the man on duty at the time was very friendly and informative and the lobby and café area seemed like a nice place to spend some time and there was also a small outside seating area. The room as expected for a B&B property was small but functional, clean and modern with a comfortable bed, small side tables, some hanging and shelf space, wall mounted TV and a very small desk and padded stool. The bathroom which looked brand new was also small but functional and from the floorplan of the building on the back of the door appeared to be the main area that had been renovated enclosing the open shower from its former Ibis days into an enclosed room with the wc and vanity and the room was serviced each day. .The only downside to my room that because of the renovations the air-conditioning wasn’t working which luckily wasn’t a huge problem during my stay. One of the main reasons I picked this hotel was the free parking which was plentiful and didn’t have any issues finding a spot each night of my five night stay. The location like most B&B hotels is in a semi commercial industrial area and there wasn’t much within walking distance except for another hotel and a Shell petrol station but there were plenty of other options a short drive away. I used the hotel as a base to explore the areas around Amsterdam from Zaandam to Den Helder, Delft, Gouda and The Hague and found that the hotel and its location were perfect for this. Would happily stay here again.

Der allgemeine Service war erstaunlich. Der Mangel an Griff, als wir ankamen, war ein wenig abgelassen, aber das Personal ging oben und darüber hinaus. Wir hatten 2 Griff am Morgen um 9 Uhr, beste Service vom Personal. Freundliches Personal und großartiges Hotel.

Zero Stars basierend auf Kundenservice und Management. Wir reservierten unseren Aufenthalt drei Monate im Voraus, um zum Hotel zu kommen, um unsere Reservierung zu finden war im Hotelsystem für die falschen Termine. Ein „Systemfehler“. Wir wurden einem Raum zugewiesen, den ich nicht buchte, ich buchte einen bestimmten Zimmertyp. Ich habe mich sofort beschwert, was zu einer wilden Schneejagd führte. Ich wurde versprochen, eine „Restitution“ zu erhalten. Diese ganze Entscheidung hatte wirklich negative Auswirkungen auf unseren Aufenthalt, da wir uns freuen, in einem Zimmer zu bleiben, das wir drei Monate vorbehalten. Es dauerte 26 Tage, um eine sehr geringe Entschädigung zu erhalten. Die Geschäftsleitung informierte mich, dass das Hotel möglicherweise meine Zimmerart auf der Grundlage der Anzahl der Personen auf meiner Buchung geändert hat. Das haben sie nicht das Recht, zu tun, da ihre Website mir erlaubte, meine Buchung ohne eine Frage zu machen. Das Hotel hat mich nach einer Zeit auch nicht mehr antworten lassen, was schwer unprofessionell ist. Es ist so eine Trauer, dass das Hotel selbst sehr schön war, aber die Haltung/Verhalten der Führung ist wirklich off putting, und ich würde niemanden empfehlen, hier nur zu bleiben, wenn ein Problem auftritt, es gibt eine gute Chance Ihr Problem nicht gelöst werden.

Dieses von außen wirklich beeindruckende Hotel hat im inneren wenig zu bieten. Schon der erste Eindruck bei der Ankunft war negativ. Um 14:00 angekommen,wurden wir ziemlich unhöflich darauf hingewiesen,das Check In erst ab 15:00 ist. Den Koffer durften wir aber abgeben.Um 15:00 dann natürlich ein hohes Gästeaufkommen. Gebucht hatten wir „Industrie-Style“. Wir hatten ein Eckzimmer,welches schon beim ersten Betreten ca. 35 Grad Raumtemperatur hatte. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Ein Ventilator wurde uns zur Verfügung gesellt. Später haben wir dann noch feststellen müssen,das weder der Fernseher noch der Kühlschrank funktioniert. Alles wurde an der Rezeption bemängelt.Fernseher wurde repariert oder ausgetauscht.Die Klimaanlage war offenbar schon länger defekt. Das Mobiliar eher billig,lieblos.Das Bad sehr groß und leider auch nicht sehr sauber.Plastikbecher für Getränke,und Pappbecher zum Zähne Putzen.Alles kein 4* Niveau. Im Restaurant eine kleine Speisekarte zum Abendessen. Das Essen war nicht schlecht.Von Niveau eher Bistro-Küche mit hohem Preisniveau. Frühstück auch eher durchschnittlich. Der Schnitt Käse bog sich bereits zur Zimmerdecke und der Camenbert war sehr verklebt. Das Ambiente vor dem Hotel an der Wasserfront war eine absolute Zumutung. Das Wasser grün und oben drauf nur Dreck und Müll. Lage zum Bahnhof und zu einer kleinen schönes Einkaufsstraße ist optimal.

Tolles Hotel. Sehr zentral gelegen, direkt am Bahnhof von Zaandam. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und gut ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage, kleinem Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine. Außergewöhnlich ist das Bad mit Badewanne und separater Regendusche. Das hat man sehr selten. Zur gemütlichen Innenstadt sind es auch nur wenige Gehminuten. Eigentlich alles bestens und das Hotel hätte volle Punktzahl von mir bekommen..........aber 7 Euro City Tax pro Person pro Nacht sind eine Frechheit. 7 Euro für null Leistung. Das Hotel kann nichts dafür. Man weiß ja das man die Touristen in und um Amsterdam los werden möchte. Und das wird mit diesen Maßnahmen auch gelingen. Zumindest bei mir wird es klappen. Wir wollten nächstes Jahr mit der ganzen Familie nach Zaandam in das Hotel kommen. Das hat sich nun erledigt. Schade für das Hotel. Dank an die Verantwortlichen von Zaandam!!

Nicht im Zentrum von Amsterdam, eine Station vom Windmühlendorf entfernt, die Umgebung ist gut, es gibt einen Wasserkocher im Inneren, aber es kostet 7 Euro für eine Nacht mehr als der ursprüngliche Reservierungspreis, und die nationale Steuer beträgt 7 Euro, 14 Euro Zwei Tage lang sind Kinder wie Erwachsene, und schließlich kommunizierten Ctrip-Mitarbeiter mit ihnen und schickten später einige von ihnen zurück.

Rein Zimmer gute Lage. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof. 10 Minuten mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam Zentrum. Frühstück in der Nähe für 2.50 pro Person. freundlich und hilfsbereites Personal. Zaanse schläft sehr schön. Gut geschlafen.
