Beautiful looking hotel on arrival but I left disappointed and uncared for. I am a single female business traveller visiting sites across the country and required a hotel room close to wetherby so chose the bridge. Hotel room nice although bathroom needed a good paint. As a business traveller I have to depart early normally just before 7. I was disappointed to not be able to access breakfast and was told by a member of staff heading towards the kitchens the departing morning nothing is available including reception until 7. I had mentioned it to reception on check in and they assured me the continental elements of the breakfast would be available from 6:30 and that there was NO take away service availability for a business traveller. I did manage to forage a slice of bread lol which had to suffice. The bed was comfy but the shower although powerful never got warm in the morning even after running it for over 10 minutes so had to grit my teeth during my freezing ablutions. I had to play hunt the tea tray and to extract it from its hidden location meant getting down on my hands and knees The hairdryer stopped blowing after 5 seconds….. thank god I had travel one with me as remember, I would not have got help as no one was at reception ! So probably a lovely stay for those on vacation in the york area but for me as a business user, I would be hesitant to stay here again unless I had the opportunity to start work later I would have told reception my issues as posting a review as a first contact point is not my style, however if you remember they were not there!

Große Lage in den Moto-Diensten auf einer Runde, die nach York, Wetherby und der A1M führt. Echt bequem für den Ausstieg. Parkplatzkosten, obwohl es besser wäre, wenn es einen speziellen Bereich für Hotelgäste gibt, da das Hotel am nächsten scheint, wo jeder möchte parken, vor allem Autos. Basic Budget Hotel mit Tee und Kaffee in dem Zimmer, einem TV und einem Dusche. Ich hätte gesagt, es war sauber, bis ich am letzten Morgen unseres Aufenthalts einen Baby-Dummy unter dem Bett gefunden habe. Ungewöhnliche Zahlenzimmer gegenüber dem Park. Auf den Erdgeschoss Zimmern von 021 bis 037 übersehen das Gras zwischen Hotel und Autopark, wo Menschen rauchen und jeder nimmt ihren Hund zu tun. Es ist etwas irritierend, wenn Menschen fast gegen unser Fenster stehen, selbst wenn es offen war. Schließt das Fenster ziemlich gut bei der Haltung der Lärm Tag und Nacht. Zusätzliche Tür im Korridor kurz vor Zimmer 021 auch auf den frühen Morgen schreien Menschen, die ihre Zimmer verlassen. Zimmer überraschend ruhig. Hat ein Problem, aber es wurde ziemlich schnell durch Management sortiert ohne Argument, so kann sie nicht schulden auf dem Service. Frühstück ist für £7, aber nicht viel Sorte. Einige Getreide, Joghurt, Obst, Käse und Brot/Kekse. Greggs nebenan die Tür viel günstiger.

Ich hatte meine Nacht vor dem großen Tag hier mit dem besten Mann. Was für ein brillantes Ort! Wir genossen wirklich das Abendessen und die Erdbeben besonders, aber andere Highlights waren die Cocktailbar und der Schwimmbad. Dienstleistung durch das gesamte Personal war fantastisch und ich hatte eine wirklich gute und gut benötigte Nacht Schlaf; das Zimmer selbst war fehlerfrei und das Bett wirklich komfortabel. Ich werde sicher, es für jede andere besondere Gelegenheit wieder zu bedenken.

Von der Ein-zu-Aus-Check-in, was ein freundlicher, alter Weltplatz ist, Früher in einen sehr kleinen Hofpark, wo wir einen Platz gefunden haben, obwohl es eine große Parkplatz neben der Tür, wie die Besitzer die nächste Tür gekauft haben, um neu zu entwickeln, gewiesen direkt in unser Zimmer durch eine schöne, freundliche Lady Unser Zimmer war auf der Straße, links der Arche, wir hatten unsere eigene Fronttür, die uns in eine schöne kleine Halle und ein schönes Zimmer, wahrscheinlich einer der saubersten wir geblieben und ich habe im großen Teil der High-End-Hotels, Der Lärm vom Straßenabend könnte ein Problem gewesen sein, aber wir wurden mit Ohrschleifen, die wir nicht verwendet haben, Die Frühstückswahl war erstaunlich für ein B & B, Alles frisch gekocht zu bestellen und Karen unsere Kellnerin war wunderschön, fühlte wir sie kennen alle unsere Leben, eine wunderschöne Lady, ein Kredit für den Geschäft, Recht gegenüber der Busstation, so dass wenn Sie nach York oder Harrogate gehen wollten, Busse auf der Tür, Viel Spaziergang und pubs, quiz Nacht und Markttag am Mittwoch mit seinem eigenen Stadtkräter, was eine Behandlung Knaresborough ....was ein schöner Ort, viele Wanderungen entlang der Fluss Nüdd, schöne Gebäude und natürlich die Viadukt, Schloss und Garten, Wahrscheinlich war der heißeste Tag des Jahres, so dass wir nicht mehr einen Spaziergang in die Mutter Shiptons Höhlen bewältigen konnten, aber das wird für einen anderen Tag sein

Nice little Inn in a pleasant village. On arrival, we found the room to be very clean, but very cold. We had not phoned ahead to advise of arrival time, so this was not unexpected. We soon got the room to temperature with the adequate radiator. There was a good size TV and working remote control. It was nice to have a mirror, often lacking in hotel rooms. However, the bathroom was very cold (in tune with the weather) and although there was a towel radiator, there was no facility to switch it on, so the night visits to the loo and morning showers were fairly grim experiences for a February morning. Breakfast was the most disappointing part of the say. Firstly, there no cereals options. When asked, they said they could find something, but it was an offer of just two uninviting choices. There were no fruit items or yoghurts either, Thankfully I had brought my morning grapefruit with me on the trip, but my wife had nothing. There was no choice of fruit juice, just a half of a small glass of orange juice (already poured), that tasted cheap and oversweet. The cooked breakfast was minimal and the mushrooms were well past their ”eat by date” being dried up, wrinkled and too leathery to consume. When they get to that stage it is best to throw them away and offer an alternative. The negatives override the positives, so we will probably not return.
