Kuruva Island Resort and Spa - by Kabini Breeze, Wayanad

We stayed in this resort during 6-9 Jan-2024. 1) We had the most memorable holiday in this resort. The resort is beautifully done up with loads of greenery all around, lovely flowers all around the resort. The access to the river is a bit challenging from right behind the resort due to common public road but if one walks around 500mts there is a better access. 2)The rooms given to us were superb in terms of its location and amenities provided to us. The rooms are well done up, spacious, clean towels, linens. They were gracious enough to upgrade us to a better looking room on our one request, this was highly commendable and appreciated deeply. 3)The staff in this resort are the most amazing people we met in a long time, all of them show great warmth, always smiling. We had the most good fortune of meeting Mr Iqbal, one of the owners of this resort. Mr Iqbal is a very friendly and equally helpful person. I am told he visits frequently to check on guests to ensure everything is going well, such actions make this resort more welcoming. 4) We had the smoothest check-in with welcome drink and the room allotement was the quickest. 5) The food experience from the restaurant is a mix review for us. We enjoyed everything that is a local delicacy but anything beyond, the chef will need to work on to provide equal joy. We would like to thank first and foremost the Guard who opens the gate, he is the first impression you get when you enter the resort, he has an amazing smile(-:). thanking equally Jayaraj, Shalini, The Manager at the Front office (sorry could not remember name) and all the staff in the restaurant area. Last but not the least, i must talk about the Jewel in the Crown of this resort, ANOOP. He is the most amazing person we have met in this resort. You can find Anoop mostly around the front desk to extend all kinds of help, right from offering services to click your family pic or group pic, or to chit-chat about the resort or the surroundings. He has great knowledge about the entire area and can guide you with anything you will ever need to make your stay comfortable. Anoop takes the guests for Safari ride and he is too good in identifying all sort of animals or birds. We had one of most amazing village tour with him, it will take a long time to fade from our memory the kind of sceneries we saw on our way, entire credit goes to Anoop. I would strongly recommend anyone going towards Wayanad to explore this wonderful resort, its definitely one of the best in the region that we could find. Thanks once again the entire team of Kuruva Island Resort & Spa, we would definitely like to come back again.

Great experience with friendly staff and environment.. way the staff treats customer is fabulous.. Most important thing to share is the quality of food that they provide.. its superb.. Even the complinentary breakfast buffet was incredible and the menu was also awesome.. Best resort spot for calm and quiet stay and its reccomendable for everyone without any doubt..

After searching on internet and checking the reviews we decided to hit this resort. Initially I was little skeptical about the resort cause I had some real bad experiences with previous resorts in other places. However after spending 2 days in the resort I can say this was the best experience we all had. It was sunday and we reached at around 3 PM.The place is located on the banks of Kabini river. The place location is awesome and it is well maintained. It is clean and surrounded by greenery. So a day package includes breakfast , a day visit to nearby Tribal village and a temple. The place has rooms and suites with private pools and with all luxury amenities and also having double to triple beds. There are other amenities like carrom, chess board, table tennis cue board, snooker table and a cute little play ground for children, a common swimming pool which are free to use. The best part is the nearby access to the stream of Kabini river. There are provisions of music system. You can party there with the group . They are even having a birds and rabbit shelters. If there is a power cut , you can get a quick generator service. The best and exceptional part is their hospitality and the way in which they receive their guests. Anything you ask for they would come with an answer" Sir NO PROBLEM!!!!!). That was the best part. Special thanks to All Starting from receptionist Shalini, Praveen Anoop and most importantly the restaurant care takers Chefin, Aditya and all the crew who all made to feel like at home and to crown it all the owners of the said property are down to earth and enjoying themselves in serving their guests apart from their crew members. Guys if you are planning to enjoy the stayout, go hit this place. Its worth a visit both enjoyment wise and money wise.Importantly this place is totally safe as there are cctvs everywhere. So no worry about thefts and other stuffs. The most exciting part is the night safari organised by them. A special thanks for the same. As a first time guest I now itself planned and waiting for my next leisure time to enjoy the break once again. By checking in KURUVA ISLAND RESORTS AND SPA. Staying at the Kuruva Island Resort and Spa was an awesome experience. As someone who loves both adventure and relaxation, I found the resort to be the perfect spot to enjoy both. The cool, laid-back vibe of the place was contagious, and it made our family vacation extremely enjoyable. We definitely received great value for our investment. Our family's stay at Kuruva Island Resort and Spa from April 28 to May 1, 2024, was an experience we cherish deeply. As a wheelchair user, I found the resort's commitment to accessibility not just reassuring, but empowering. The seamless pathways and the attentive staff ensured that I could enjoy every part of the resort without any hassle. The ambiance of the resort struck a perfect balance between luxury and comfort, enveloped by an atmosphere that captured the tranquil beauty of its surroundings. The weather during our stay was splendid, with clear skies and a gentle breeze that added to the serene experience. The culinary offerings at the resort were a true delight. Each meal was crafted to perfection, combining local flavors with impeccable presentation, and the portions were more than generous, ensuring we were satisfied after every meal. The dining staff was particularly noteworthy for their courteous and timely service, always ensuring our needs were met with a smile. Our interactions with the resort staff were always positive, with each member ready to assist with genuine warmth and professionalism. This made our stay not only comfortable but truly memorable. Considering the quality of services and the exceptional experiences we had, the cost was undoubtedly justified. We left the resort with beautiful memories and a firm resolution to return, confident that it would be just as wonderful the next time.

Everything was so nice it was so relaxing. They had many activities like trecking,safari and zipplining and many more activities and it was so fun staying here. The food was so good had there was indoor and outdoor games as well. My family and I loved it so much.

The stay in Kuruva island resort was awesome. We had taken our pet as well. The stay was very comfortable. Food was good. I suggest this to many. We had gone for night safari could spot many animals. The stay was very good. Enjoyed every bit of it.

The property and ambiance is very nice and well maintained. The staffs are friendly. The pool villa was amazing, had beautiful time. There are good spots to click pics. River side was nice and peaceful. The candle night dinner was nice and had a good experience.
