Inn at Bellefield / Hyde Park

I made the reservation and tried to cancel within two hours and they wouldn’t let me. Not even a partial refund. The place is under construction and the grounds are as well.

My stay at the Bellefield/Hyde Park was truly exceptional! The hotel is really beautiful, clean and conventient to Hyde Park's major attractions. My suite had a sweeping view of the Culinary Institute of America and the hotel is a five minute drive to the Franklin D. Roosevelt estate and presidential library. During my weeklong visit, I enjoyed the hotel's breakfasts in the morning and it bar in the evening. I ate all of my other meals at the CIA which is a convenient walk from the hotel. Most impressive of all, was the friendly and helpful hotel staff. Everyone from the front desk workers to the cleaning staff to the bartenders were kind, helpful, and utterly charming.

Beautiful hotel, great service. The entrance is directly across from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Centrally located between Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie and only minutes from the historic sites of Hyde Park.

The hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious and lovely. It was close to everything I needed. I would definitely stay again!!!

Creative architecture and efficient use of space. Breakfast fare was enjoyable and adequate. Easy in, easy out.

This is our third time staying at the hotel because it is clean, new, and pleasant. The breakfast is also first rate, including cold fresh fruit, hot waffle maker, real maple syrup, bacon and/or sausages, Greek yogurt with fresh fruit topping, etc. The area also feels safe, and is right across from the Culinary Institute of America’s beautiful campus. However, there are fine details that need improvement. For instance, the first time, there was no bedding in the room for the sofa bed. We asked for it and got it, but since it was late a night and the family was super tired, it would have been nice if the room had been stocked already. This third time, after arriving past midnight and wanting to take a good shower, we discovered the wall-mounted shampoo and body wash bottles were completely empty. There was conditioner thankfully. So details like that need fine-tuning. But otherwise, we like the overall appearance and comfort of the hotel. The beds and sheets are all clean and cozy, and the front desk staff is generally professional.

Excellent hotel. Located right across from CIA, which was very convenient for us. The lobby is beautiful too. Very comfy bed! Would stay again.

Loved the new modern decor. Everything was clean and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious.
