The location itself would be enough to impress, but its the friendliest of welcomes when you arrive at this gorgeous campsite which make you realise its going to be fabulous. They did not disappoint. 2 HUGE amenities sites within the camp, which included very large kitchens with everything you need.Stove, toaster, bbq,microwave, ovens big sinks, dishwashing detergent and racks. The showers were powerful and hot and toilets plentiful around the camp. They have a games lounge room for when the weather turns ordinary, and ping pong and large chess set to keep kids entertained. There is a play park for the little ones too. The laundry has plenty of big machines and dryers with a self service card system... no coins needed. (Buy laundry powder with coin in machine though) The site sits literally on the beach with a great grassed area to take in the sunrise with a cuppa in the morning and a drink in the afternoon overlooking the waves. A 1st class walk around the headland is a must. Be prepared to be stunned. The dairy has lots if you run out of supplies right at the camp and across the road is the most delicious cafe/restaurant open every single day for breakfast through to dinner. The camp is a short drive to the caves and waterfall and a super fun golf course with jaw dropping views up the road. The town of Waipu is a few mins drive with all the shops you'd need for camping including cafes, a brewery and a restaurant.

Amazing value - on Campsaver. Friendly efficient staff, choice of sites, lovely birdsong. Clean shower blocks. Beautiful beach and other beaches to explore nearby. Sadly only 1 nite stay, enroute south. Will come again for longer next time

We had a powered site and a self-contained unit, both were ready. Check-in and check-out were efficient, informative and friendly. The campsite was super well maintained, had a fun, family vibe, and we really felt safe and secure. The playgrounds and amenities were well maintained and very much appreciated. We all highly recommend this spot as a must-stay. Thank you.

Absolutely loved it. Great family campground was made to feel welcome from the time we drove in the gate. As managers of a campground ourselves we were very impressed. Kids had a ball plenty to keep them amused. Tidy amenities block and a very short walk to the lovely beach. Great choice of either private camp sites or open areas that can be enjoyed by multiple family's together.

One of the better camp grounds Ive been too. There is so much to do for the kids to keep them entertained while the adults relax. Everything is very neat and tidy and visually pleasing. Easy access to a great beach and even tennis courts and volley ball for the adults. Wish there were more fridge space and plugs in kitchen weren't working but it was Easter weekend so it was packed. The staff at reception were so lovely and so friendly. We have rebooked for next year. There is an amazing restaurant just down the road and a great little town centre no more than 10 minutes drive.

Reception Staff are very friendly and helpful and always has a smile on their faces. Massive campsite. The weather cooperated. Showers are strong and hot. And love the fish auction and heaps of stuff to do and a very family friendly camp. will definitely be back.

Booking online was very easy. We camped in a tent and picked a good site. On arrival we received the most friendliest reception. Everything was explained to us. Easy beach access. Dairy in walking distance. Boat ramp a little way down from dairy. You can either hire or purchase the gate key. Same price. We we had a very relaxing stay. Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Perfect positioning along side a fantastic beach. The space for our camper van was very generous. We also enjoyed the Cove Cafe at the southern end of the camp!
