Er gab uns im Grunde den Schlüssel zu unserem Zimmer und wir waren allein. Unser Zimmer war angenehmer genug mit Blick auf die Schlösser. Das Frühstück war grundlegend und wert nicht die Kosten meiner Meinung (Baguette, Pasta, und Lager gekauft Yoghurt zusammen mit Kaffee und Saft), wir hatten es nur einmal. Eine Gemeinschaftsküche mit Toaster und Kühlschrank war verfügbar, aber nicht sehr gut ausgestattet (z. B. keine Handtücher oder Handtücher/Geschirr, um Ihre Gerichte zu trocknen). Da es keine Mahlzeiten im Schloss gab, außer zum Frühstück, reisen wir in die nahe gelegene Stadt Amboise rund 10 Minuten in der Nacht, was ungünstig war, weil Parkplätze dort schwer zu finden waren. Das Hotel ist schön und wir lieben unser Zimmer (Zimmer 10). Glücklicherweise war der Kap am Rezeption stark, weil wir schwere Taschen hatten, und es gibt nur einen Weg bis zum Zimmer, über eine wunderbare Holzspiralschritt. Jedes Personal war wunderbar; jeder hat uns mit einem Lächeln begrüßt und war unglaublich professionell. Das Frontdesk sah erschüttert aus und schlug vor, die Luft auszuschalten und das Fenster zu öffnen! Dieses Hotel und die meisten anderen Immobilien Ibis haben keine Fensterbildschirme (erfunden im 19. Jahrhundert, um Insekten-Borreliose zu stoppen). Am Morgen waren meine Frau und ich beide mit Moskitobiten bedeckt. Sie sollten auch wissen, dass es die Politik der Ibis Hotels in Frankreich ist, ihre Systeme von Kühlung auf Heizung umzuwandeln - keine Ausnahmen für den Gastkomfort. Wir haben überall in Frankreich im Ibis und Mercure-Eigenschaften verblieben, so dass wir sie kennen. Wir gingen dann zu einem Mercure Hotel in Saumur und es war wunderschön!
