Ist schon ein paar Monate her, als wir hier die letzten 5 Tage unseres Toskana Urlaubs Anfang Oktober 2022 verbracht haben. Gebucht hatten wir ein Doppelzimmer mit Seeblick und Balkon, inklusive Halbpension. Das Zimmer ist mit rund 18qm nicht sonderlich groß, aber super sauber und schön ausgestattet. Wir waren bereits vor 4 Jahren hier in diesem Hotel, und im Vergleich dazu hat es uns diesmal noch besser gefallen. Das Hotel ist in einem sehr gut erhaltenen Zustand, absolut nichts auszusetzen. Der Garten wunderbar gepflegt mit Liegen, Stühlen zum Ausruhen, großer sehr sauberer Pool mit vielen Liegen. Gegen Ende der Badesaison Anfang Oktober konnten wir kostenlos das Bagno Annita nutzen. Das Abendessen im großen Saal des Hotels war abwechslungsreich und hervorragend, bei Halbpension hat man jeden Tag die Auswahl vom Vorspeisen-Buffet, dann aus weiteren 5-6 Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen und Desserts. Die warmen Speisen waren immer heiß und schön angerichtet. Auch das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und abwechslungsreich. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen - sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich und mein Freund blieben hier 5 Tage und wir liebten jede Minute ! Es war erstaunlich ! Die Leute waren wunderschön und was wir brauchen Hilfe mit wie der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel oder bestellen ein Taxi, sie waren froh, zu helfen. Wir reservierten auch Frühstück, das es sicherlich wert war, da das Frühstück eine Vielzahl von Optionen hatte und es war lecker. Die Lage des Hotels war nicht im Zentrum von Pisa, aber noch ein toller Ort, um es zu haben und ein Busstopp ist direkt außerhalb des Hotels, so dass nachdem wir das Bussystem herausgefunden hatte, es war super nützlich. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel und tolle Kundenservice.

Neue Struktur mit jedem Komfort;Ich und meine Tochter haben in einem Einzelzimmer mit Küche (mit Mikrowelle und Waschbecken) Bad mit Telefon und Reinigungsmittel Soundsommerzimmer verblieben. Ausgezeichnete Lage nur wenige Meter vom zentralen Platz Mazzini, also vom Langsee und vom Carnaval-Show Eine Aussage geht nach Jacomo, der ein außergewöhnlicher, freundlicher und nett gehaltener Gastgeber war

Dem Hotel scheint schon vor vielen Jahren das Leben ausgehaucht worden zu sein. Es fehlt an umfassender Sanierung um daraus wieder ein 5 Stern-Haus zu machen. Klimaanlagen ohne Funktion, nicht ein kühler Pool und fürchterliches Essen fassen die wesentlichen Aspekte zusammen. Das Frühstück ist wenig ansprechend. Es gibt kaum frisches Obst und wenig Auswahl an regionalen Produkten. Lediglich der Kuchen ist reichlich, verträgt sich allerdings nicht mit dem Anspruch des Hotels auf gesunden Urlaub. Das Abendessen hat uns noch mehr enttäuscht. Medium bestelltes Fleisch kommt völlig durchgegrillt und in homöopathischen Dosen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unangemessen. Das gilt auch für den Rest des Hotels. Wir hatten zwei Deluxe-Zimmer gebucht, die glücklicherweise miteinander verbunden waren, denn anderenfalls hätte das eine in Ermangelung eines Außenfenster nie Frischluft gehabt. So ein Zimmer allein hätte uns vermutlich am Tag 1 zum Abreisen bewegt. Die Klimaanlage im Hotel verfehlt ihre Wirkung leider völlig. Die Zimmertemperatur sinkt maximal auf 29 Grad im Zimmer ohne Fenster und 28 Grad im Zimmer mit Fenster. Da muss man den Sommer schon sehr mögen um das angenehm zu empfinden. Am Pool (ALLE um die 37 Grad warm) gibt es keine Handtücher und das Wasser ist dort, wie im Zimmer bis auf einmal zur Begrüßung zu bezahlen. Die Massage war herausragend gut. Das einzige begeisternde Erlebnis in diesem Hause, das seine besten Tage schon sehr lange hinter sich hat. Als Leading Hotel of the World bleibt es sehr deutlich hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Man konnte das im übrigen auch den anderen Gästen deutlich im Gesicht ablesen. Sehr schade, denn der Ort hat sicher Potential. Es hat sich allerdings aufgebraucht.

Danke für den kurzen Aufenthalt mit Ihnen so angenehm. Wir buchten über Bookings.com für zwei Nächte für meine Frau, zwei Enkel und mich selbst und wirklich war es nicht lange genug, um die vollen Vorteile dieses schönen Meeresresort genießen. Die Unterkunft in Viareggio ist etwas teuer als die Umgebung, aber es ist es wert. Alle in diesem Hotel waren von unserer Ankunft bis zum Abreisen angenehmen. Wir wurden im Voraus angeraten, dass wir durch Zuweisung eines oberen Stockzimmers über das Meer, das atemberaubend war, zugeteilt werden. Frühstück wurde auf der Dachterrasse serviert, im Schatten, und unsere Wahl wurde zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Dingen, die wir wählen konnten, und wir konnten nach Bedarf für mehr Lebensmittel und Getränke zurückkehren. Wir reservierten vier Fahrräder bei der Ankunft und konnten bis zum Pedal fahren, bevor wir zurückkehren konnten. (Alles auf der Ebene auf einem Zykluspfad.) Ein schönes Hotel in einer idealen Lage und Hoffnung, zurückzukehren.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay and 1st visit to this area, 10 - 15 minute walk down from the train station (literally walk down any street you see opposite the station and you hit the promenade close to the hotel). We unfortunately had booked a room on the 1st floor with a huge window overlooking the promenade but no balcony, asked to upgrade but no balconies available - still an amazing view though. Hotel is absolutely spotless everywhere and the position is excellent, good air con in the room, lovely bar to sit in and enjoy an evening drink. ******* were that there was no courtesy room available to shower on the last day nor were we able to keep the room longer than an extra half hour, we had to change and freshen up for the airport in the small toilet that is situated off the dining room which wasn’t great. Breakfast was very slow if ordering off the Al a Carte, and because there were tour groups booked in who ate breakfast together in groups of 10-20, the kitchen and front of house struggled to cope at busy times. On 2 days we were allocated a corner area of the restaurant near the buffet to sit in rather than being able to sit in the window where we preferred - the tour groups were given the better tables / treatment. Free Prosecco at breakfast though was a plus 🥂. Some music in the bar would have created some atmosphere - could hear a pin drop at times 🎶 All staff were very professional and friendly and we tried 3 beach clubs opposite the hotel - Irene (amazing sea food), Milano (the cheapest) and Vespucci (has a swimming pool). It was no cheaper to book the beach clubs via the hotel and we found that paying direct at the beach clubs gave better options, for example, at Milano you could opt to have no umbrella and pay less. The hotel provided us with beach towels each day at no extra charge. We visited the public beach across from the hotel also which is free but no option to book beds. Loved the Marina and the seafood street food places (5 -10 mins walk), Sa Player restaurant was our favourite (5 mins walk towards the Marina), the back streets were full of patisseries selling the amazing cakes and pastries at half the price of the promenade cafes/restaurants - also loads of shops on the backstreets and a fish market that I believe cooks outside for you at weekends but we missed this 😢. A street market was set up on the promenade across from the hotel on Thursday morning and went on for miles. 15 minutes on the train to Pisa and 25 minutes to Lucca so handy spot to explore from. Plenty to do here, will definitely return one day 🇮🇹

Das Hotel liegt zwar nicht so schlecht, knappe 600 m vom Strand aber das Personal ist das unfreundlichste was mir je begegnet ist! Eine nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage (bei über 30 Grad Aussentemperatur) und ein loser Toilettendeckel, die ich ab dem 2.Tag in der Rezeption gemeldet habe, wurden bis zu unserer Abreise nicht Man bot und zwar ein anderes Zimmer an aber auch hier gab es grössere Mängel! Ich bin von Mercure eine andere Art von Hotels und auch Personal gewohnt!!!! Von der Qualität, Auswahl und Präsentation des Früstück‘s will ich gar nicht reden! Dass da noch keiner krank geworden ist wundert mich! Ungekühlt und offen liegen S*****en und Käse auf den Platten und die Butter ist fast flüssig
