Baobab Soleil war ein sehr angenehmes Hotel. Das waren die Dinge, die ich an dem Hotel mochte: Es war sehr nah am Wildpark, Foret de Bandia und der Hotelshuttle konnte gegen Gebühr hin und her fahren. Das Hotel war auch in der Nähe des Flughafens, aber da ich nicht ein- oder ausflog, traf es auf mich nicht zu. Es gab nicht allzu viele Mitarbeiter, nur etwa drei. Sie haben hart gearbeitet, um Dienstleistungen zu erbringen, und waren sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sauber und hatten einfache Annehmlichkeiten. Es gab einen großen Pool, der rund um die Uhr geöffnet war. Das Essen war gut, obwohl die Speisekarte begrenzt war. Es gab alkoholische Getränke zu kaufen. Im Restaurantbereich gab es Internetzugang. In der Umgebung gab es viele Affenbrotbäume, was den Namen Baobab Soleil sehr passend macht. Man kann ohne Sicherheitsbedenken in der Umgebung spazieren gehen. Vorschläge: Wenn möglich, einen Internet-Router haben, damit Leute, die gerne etwas arbeiten oder online lesen, in ihrem Zimmer oder auf der Terrasse lesen können, anstatt ins Restaurant zu gehen, das oft laut ist und viele Leute spricht und auch viele Fliegen hat. Auch die Webervögel auf dem großen Baum in der Nähe machen einen ziemlichen Lärm, der nach einer Weile ermüdend sein kann. Ich war 3 Nächte dort und wollte in meinem Zimmer arbeiten, konnte das aber nicht und war etwas enttäuscht. Alles in allem war es ein guter 3-tägiger Aufenthalt im Hotel.

This Hotel ticks all boxes. Top notch food, Excellent Wifi everywhere and the staff and service is just superb. I cannot rate this high enough, all personal are super friendly, professional and willing to help at any given moment. Room service is absolutely amazing and so efficient. I ordered a plate of food and fruits at 2am and it arrived in a blink. The pool is fantastic, clean and well maintained with sun beds and towels. Rooms are very clean spacious with excellent Air con. The hotel is conveniently placed 20 minutes drive from the airport. Note: anyone planning to go to Dakar for a meeting, be prepared as the motorway gets really busy. A 30 minutes journey can turnout to be a 2 hours plus. Also, once inside the capital the traffic is even worst. I highly recommend this hotel and rate it as one of the best Business hotels out there. I will be back without any hesitation.
