WE spent 2 nights with my 8 Years old daughter, and WE really appreciate our stay. All the staff IS so nice and helpfull. The réception and restaurant/bar staff, Kali and the cleaning lady, all were smiling and caring !
Thé room was so Big , and my daughter likes so much thé bed with the "moustiquaire" 😉
You feel liké you are all alone cause all the room are well distanced.
Thé beach is juste on the other side of the road.
WE recommand 200% !! And WE wish WE could stay longer ..

Maravu und sein Personal sind großartig. Alle sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Rafa, Cali, Solo, Kara und andere sind wunderbar. Sie bringen Sie zu den örtlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten und zeigen Ihnen die Umgebung. Wir verbrachten einen Tag mit Rafa, der uns zu den Wasserfällen führte. Beste Wanderung aller Zeiten!
Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig am Flughafen. Die Burres sind sauber und komfortabel und die Anlage ist wunderschön. Unsere Kinder rannten umher und pflückten Papayas direkt von den Bäumen, und das wunderbare Küchenpersonal schnitt sie für sie in Stücke!
Sehr empfehlenswert.

I stayed here for 4 nights while staying in Taveuni. Really lovely feel to the place. Not super fancy but also clean and pretty. The lodge does do its own tours but they need a minimum number of 4 people to go ahead (makes sense). On the day i wanted to do the coastal walk, nobody else had booked on. I really wanted to go so i payed extra to go by myself. Rafa was my guide and he was fabulous. Always so attentive and making sure i was ok. You have to cross a river on the coastal walk and depending on recent rainfall.. it can get a little tricky. Rafa you should become a motivational speaker! "you can do it tasha!' i kept hearing behind me!. A wonderful day. Rafa also helped organise a birding tour for me with a local guy in the area. Loved this too. Regarding the lodge (and its been commented on a lot of times) is that there is no electricity during the day. It doesnt really affect you at all, unless you need to use the bathroom. Luckily i had a head torch! Perhaps there could be a solar light put in there during the day? All in all, great. Would recommend 10/10

Our group of 14 loved our stay at Maravu. The staff was extremely helpful. The dorms and bures were clean and comfortable. The only reason my review isn't 5 stars is because their generator broke while we were there, limiting electricity and internet access to only the main lodge.

Very welcoming hotel, both for holidayers & backpackers Friendly staff and really helpful I was solo backpacking and they were fantastic with me. I met loads of people on all different types of trips but who all had a great time 100% recommend Bula

Staying at Maravu was easily one of the highlights of my Fiji trip. Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was able to see and do everything I wanted to. On my first day, Rafa took me all over the island to all the sites I wanted to see, and he was a constant friend during my whole stay, which I extended twice because I was enjoying it so much. Cale and Cara were also so warm welcoming- they really made me feel at home when I was halfway around the world and traveling solo. Kava and karaoke at night were some of the best times I had in Fiji. I would 100% stay here next time I come to visit Teveuni.

I've been travelling around Fiji for the past 2.5 weeks and my time at Maravu was easily one of my top highlights. The location is beautiful and the staff helped to create an amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend the snorkeling trip to Qamea Island with Mateo, Kali and Bali. Diva's food is fantastic. And finally the biggest of shout outs to my brother Rafa!

The best option in Taveuni both for family and solo travellers. The prices are affordable, the hotel is incredible on a little hill under the coconut and mango trees. The restaurants is fresh with different menu specialq everyday. The best part is to be able to meet other guests and share stories, everyone is like one big family there. The doorm are very spacious and confortable! But this place wouldn't be the same without the staff. The entire crew will make your stay unforgettable, the receptionists, the kitchen crew, the activity guys, EVERYONE! Special shout-out to Mariana, Maria, Rafa, Kali, Paul, Beki 🥰

I stayed at Maravu with two of my close friends on a trip to Fiji. Our time whilst staying at the Maravu Taveuni Lodge was nothing short of incredible. Whilst the hotel itself, is not a 5-star hotel, the service and attention we recieved from the amazing staff was definitely 5-star service. The staff took the time to learn our names, organise incredible trips around the island, give recommendations for places to eat, and always asked us how our day was going. The lack of power between 10am-4pm in our rooms did not make much of a difference to our stay as we were either out exploring this incredible island or spent time in the pool. The main reception area has wifi at all times during the day so if you were planning on staying here but had concerns about access to the internet there are a number of places to sit and use the free wifi the hotel has to offer. Whilst we had a few bugs in the room, it was not something that was unexpected due to the beautiful tropical nature that surrounded us. Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations and my friends and I cannot wait to one day return to this beautiful place!!
