I have spent decades travelling for work and the Majapahit is now my favourite hotel on earth. It is like staying in the pages of a history book. My beautiful king suite room opened onto the swimming pool and my only regret is not having more time to stay there. Everything about this hotel is classy, from the fantastically friendly general manager, through the fabulously helpful and kind staff, to the facilities such as the great restaurant (breakfast is never to be missed!), rocking pub and beautiful swimming pool area. The hotel is also in a very good downtown location and near the big shopping malls if that is your thing. To travel to Surabaya and not stay in the Majapahit, would not only be a missed opportunity, it would be a crime against future memories. I cannot wait to get back there.

Was lucky enough to be upgraded to Executive Club for my 14 night stay and must admit we made the most of it. Breakfast cooked to order, afternoon tea, 6pm wine and great choice of cooked eats, cheese, cakes/puddings etc which meant we didn't need to go for dinner. Room was good with modern tv with lots of channels and enabling smartview from mobile/tablet (internet was strong throughout hotel). Bathroom was great with fantastic showers and a bathtub which filled quickly. Bed was huge and comfortable, blackout curtains and subtle lighting to enable sleep at any time and aircon worked perfectly and quietly. 3 restaurants on site for the odd night we fancied straying from the executive lounge. Restaurants were a little expensive perhaps but it's a 5 star hotel so to be expected. Pros: Good rooms, strong internet, great showers, Executive Club - OUTSTANDING staff/customer service in all areas of hotel and unbelievably charming staff. Cons: Desperados bar in the basement had good live music but was very disappointing (best avoided unless you are in a group).

Dieses neue Hotel befindet sich im Herzen der Stadt Surabaya. Das Hotel ist sauber, komfortabel und das Hotelpersonal ist wirklich freundlich und hilfreich. Es gibt viele 24-Stunden-Restaurants in der Fastfood-Kette, Straßen-Food-Verkäufer und Komfort-Shops rund um das Hotel. Es dauert nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum TUNJUNGAN PLAZA (eine der größten Mall in Surabaya) Das Zimmer ist nicht so geräumig, sondern es ist sauber und komfortabel. Glücklicherweise habe ich Zimmer im 16. Stock, so hat es auch eine schöne Stadtlandschaft von Surabaya. Das Essen war ok, Frühstücksbuffet hat mehrere Wahlen für lokales Essen. Und das Restaurant sieht modern und gemütlich genug aus. Sie werden viel Lächeln von den Hotelpersonal erhalten, während Sie bleiben. Und sie sind auch sehr hilfreich. Und sicher, ich werde wieder in dieses Hotel.

Stayed in one of their deluxe rooms (one level above standard) and it was worth the little extra money. My room was clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet although the hotel was facing a busy street. Options for breakfast were good and best of all, the front desk staffs were friendly and helpful. It’s located about 5 min by car from Tunjungan Plaza but the price is much cheaper than the hotels in TP area. Can be a good option if you want to stay in the center of the city but with lower budget.

Ascott waterpalace hotel lobby is located in front of PTC west lobby. I entered the wrong lobby, apartment lobby so need to turn around. After taking the parking ticket, I parked my car near lobby and started started the check-in process. The check-in process takes about 30 minutes because it explains many rules that must be obeyed and the procedure for replacing the parking ticket with a parking card after check-in and replacing the parking card with a parking ticket at check out. Fortunately, the check-in process was carried out in a sitting position with a comfortable and soft chair. The hotel lobby is on the left while the apartments are on the right. The interior and furniture are still very well maintained and good even though the corridor leading to the room feels stuffy and hot. Executive rooms have kitchen facilities, living room, dining table, bedroom and bathroom. Cooking utensils and cutlery are very complete. Microwaves, electric stoves, sinks, dispensers, kettles, pans, plates, glasses, spoons, forks, soup bowls, and washing machines are all complete and functioning properly. The room is really suitable for gatherings event and cooking together. There are 2 TV's in the living room and bedroom. Wifi and TV service is also very good. Amazingly, I paid close attention to the cleanliness in my room, with a large room size, I didn't find any dirty or stained parts at all. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower. Amenities are produced by Budi Jaya Amenities which contain 100 ml (normally only 30-40 ml). the sachet uses brand twinnings. The public facilities are top-notch and very complete, starting from a clean kids club, a special hotel pool complete with a gazebo even though the pool size is not too big, a business center, a gym with a life fitness brand and complete equipment (although a bit dark), and there are 4 pools available integrated with apartment facilities (1 pool is being renovated, rotating pool, kids pool, and standard pool). I think they should improve the breakfast quality, taste are pretty below the standard and the food variants are also very minimalist. Even though coffee uses a coffee machine, there is only black coffee. Others are pudding, cake, cereal, juice (orange and kiwi). Sausage, vegetables, noodles, fried rice, chicken, fruit slices, soup, porridge, omelette. I've only tried a bit of everything and have no interest in adding more. On the other hand, the lack of breakfast is very reasonable because the price difference between breakfast and room only is only Rp. 40.000,00

Ich blieb in diesem Hotel 14-15 Januar 2022. Allerdings hat dieses alte Hotel eine gute Wartung. Oberzimmer war so klein und ein bisschen Geruch. Vergiss das Zimmer. Der erstaunliche und erinnereliche Moment über dieses Hotel war das Café Restaurant. Cozy place n klassische Umgebung. Ich war dort schnell. Und das bfast Menü war OK. Der Schwimmbad war sauber genug. Gute Wahl, hier zu bleiben. Sicherlich hier zurück.

Special mention to Mr. Kiky (Duty Manager) and Front Office Staff thank you for looking after us during the duration of our stay! I will definitely be back to this hotel just because of the location, bed quality and excellent service demonstrated by some Staff department i mentioned exclude resto which definitely need much improvement.
