Es war schön, dass Kinos, Restaurants und ein Kasino geöffnet waren, aber die meisten Geschäfte sind noch im Bau. Sie haben auch einen Pool, ein Spa und ein Fitnessstudio, die gut genug sind, um im Hotel zu übernachten, aber es ist ziemlich weit von der Stadt entfernt. Aber wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort genossen. Nach dem Abendessen gingen wir in die Bar im Kasino mit einem Sänger. Es ist gut zum Entspannen und die Angestellten sind sehr aufmerksam.

Das Personal sehr freundlich und höflich. Preislich ist es im Vergleich zu den Einrichtungen und Dienstleistungen, einschließlich Restaurant und Spa, zu teuer. Es gibt nur ein Restaurant und nicht viel Auswahl. Es gibt einen Pool mit Wasserfall, dessen Nutzung jedoch kostenpflichtig ist und im Preis inbegriffen sein sollte. Das allgemeine Schwimmbad schließt um 17 Uhr, zu früh, nachts konnte man nicht schwimmen. Sie bieten keine günstigen Tauchausflüge in Moalboal an, sie sollten es verbessern. Der Zugang ist nur mit dem Boot möglich und das Hotel beinhaltet nur den Check-in und Check-out, der Rest muss bezahlt werden. Sie führen samstagabends traditionelle Tanzshows auf und mit Tischen im Poolbereich ist es ein gutes und interessantes Erlebnis.

Hrmmm this one is a tricky one as we had a few unexplained situations. Firstly, the hotel itself was previously a Marriot 5-Star back in the day prior to be taken over in 2018 by the Seda Group. Secondly, there is so much ongoing renovation and construction that you need to be aware of; Noise coming from New Construction, the in hotel pool is unavailable from Feb-2025 and guests must walk across the street to another organisation's pool. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for us. The food was average with cheaper and better tasting food located just minutes away by walking through the carpark. Overall the guest lounge (located on level 12) is a bonus but is super budget, not 4-Star Material. P.S. There is no rooftop bar, only a lounge overlooking a construction site. P.S.S The House of Lechon is 5 mins by Grab which is a plus.

I’ve stayed in many five-star hotels around Lapu-Lapu, and unfortunately, this property falls short of that standard. The room was relatively small and underwhelming, especially considering the nightly rate of $280 (around 15,500 pesos). Overall, the resort doesn’t compare favorably to its competitors in the area. Upon arrival, we headed to the pool and asked for towels, only to be told to come back in 30 minutes as they were still drying, not the kind of service you expect from a high-end resort. There were also no poolside activities or amenities for children, making it less suitable for families. If you want to use the children’s play area, there’s an extra charge of 300 pesos per child per hour, and you have to walk all the way back to the check-in counter to pay. Frankly, that felt like a rip-off. Safety-wise, be cautious walking around as there were small puddles on the floor, likely caused by condensation dripping from air-conditioning pipes above, an obvious slip hazard that should be addressed. Also, don't let your young kids near the elevator lobby windows. They are low level and open outwards.  The buffet breakfast was another letdown. The food was presented poorly, served lukewarm, and surprisingly lacked basic breakfast staples like sausage or bacon, something I’ve never encountered before in a hotel of this caliber. Even more concerning was the presence of pet dogs in the dining area during breakfast, which we found off-putting. While the sunset views are beautiful, they’re somewhat marred by the rusting ship hull of visible just offshore, a visual distraction that takes away from the otherwise scenic waterfront. On a brighter note, we had drinks and dinner at the sports bar twice, where the service was excellent and the food enjoyable. However, ordering would be more efficient if they adopted a QR code system instead of relying on guests to find a server. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. For better service, amenities, and overall experience, I’d recommend the Shangri-La or Sheraton, both of which offer a far superior pool, beach area, and level of hospitality. In fact I find Costabella Beach Resort much better services and amenities for a fraction of the price!

Meine vierköpfige Familie im Alter von 11 und 7 Jahren machte einen Ausflug. Wir wählten J Park, um viel Spaß im Wasser zu haben, und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Frühstück wurde am nächsten Tag mit einem anderen Zeitplan bereitgestellt Es war schön, dass sie Anpassungen vorgenommen haben, sodass ich es noch am selben Tag verwenden konnte. Es war ein lustiger Ausflug, denn es gab verschiedene Badezonen, sodass es nicht langweilig wurde und ich alles im J Park genießen konnte. Ich kann nicht vergessen, dass ich während einer langen Reise den Zimmerservice für koreanisches Essen (Kimchi-Eintopf) bestellt habe und es sehr genossen habe^^

Kandaya resort is definitely very beautiful and clean. It offers many activities from ARV, horseback rides, archery, island hopping and many more. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of, especially Philippine cuisine. The kayaking was our personal favorite. It’s just a long drive away from Cebu city. However, should we find ourselves that side of the world again, we will choose this resort anytime. Lastly, the room was so stylish and modern..it was just amazing. Bed is super comfortable.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, abwechslungsreich und lecker. Ich blieb 4 Nächte und mir wurde nie langweilig. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr gastfreundlich und ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Da wir kleine Kinder hatten, wohnten wir als Familie in einem 99 m² großen Zimmer und es war sehr praktisch, im Zimmer zu Abend essen zu können. Der Zimmerservice war auch köstlich. Wenn ich einen Wunsch äußern müsste, würde ich mir eine Dusche in Poolnähe wünschen und es wäre schön, wenn das Hotel einen Geldwechselservice hätte.
