This is a hidden gem and we highly recommend this resort! Pros: - It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel! - Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people. - Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless. - I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help. Cons: - The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours. - The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences. - The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby. - Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

Berücksichtigung der Umwelt durch Verfahren zur Wiederverwendung von „Handtüchern“ und reduzierte Verpackungen (Wasserkrug zum Befüllen aus dem Spender im Flur, Spender für Handseife, Duschgel und Shampoo). Gut zubereitetes philippinisches Frühstück, serviert in einem kleinen Restaurant mit Gewürzen. Praktische Lage für einen Besuch im Krankenhaus Chong Hua. Taxistand in der Nähe. Gehen Sie zu Robinsons Fuente & McDo. Das Schlechte: Tassen, aber kein Wasserkocher. Winziges CR, wo der Zutritt für zwei Personen selbst mit Choreografie nicht möglich ist. Der Zimmersafe ist sehr klein. Kein Kühlschrank. Keine CR-Bodenmatte. Das hässliche: Straßenkinder, die draußen schlafen, ganz in der Nähe des Hotels. Das Trinkgeld: Fragen Sie nach einem Zimmer, in dem das WLAN gut ist. Der Abschluss: Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Gut genug, um dorthin zurückzukehren. -- Ende --

We loved staying in this location. Our room was right on the water, giving some breathtaking views morning and night. Lots of storage space and big bathroom. The hotel has a great diving center that also rents all kinds of snorkeling equipment too until later hours. Pool was clean and there was even a tipsy bar within it. Our only issue was very low water pressure in the shower which made washing long hair ia bit challenging. While you are away from the “mail” street in town, walk us about 8 min and there are few other hotels/ restaurants and activity companies located right next to hotel entrance

Ich liebe meinen Aufenthalt hier und ich fühlte mein Studiozimmer sehr spezial. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und das Zimmer hatte alle Einrichtungen und Toiletten. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Das Hotel verfügt auch über einen netten und erschwinglichen Kaffee, einen kleinen Pool für Entspannung und einen Fitnessraum. Es gibt Spas, Restaurants und ein Mall nur einen Spa-Wanderweg. Das Personal war nett und hat mir am Ende meines Aufenthalts einen kostenlosen Fahrt zum Flughafen geplant.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und ich musste einen Fön anfordern. Der Standort war sowohl ein Vorteil als auch ein Nachteil. Es war schön, dass es in der Nähe des Einkaufszentrums war, aber draußen war es so laut, dass man kaum schlafen konnte. Es war sauber, aber die Klimaanlage war zu laut. Es ist schwer zu empfehlen.

There’s no ocean view. Unless you hang off the small balcony that faces a wall. No Jacuzzi, no Onsen, and no smoking zone as advertised and instructed upon arrival. I was cooking bacon and, although I couldn’t hear any alarm, I had security staff insisting they enter the property to check. Fine. 5 minutes later, despite trying to eat, I had to ask them to leave when one of them wanted to take a photo of my meal. That’s intrusive, because it’s unnecessary, and I couldn’t wait to leave the building after that. The location is good, close to the shops and restaurants, the new museum being built, and 5 minutes away from the only open space, a vacant lot, the town as allocated as a smoking area. Unfortunately, it’s covered in cigarette butts and trash and from the moment you arrive the local girls stalk you. Awkward. This was fine for 4 days but not somewhere I would want to stay for longer or live.

der Ort liegt etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber direkt neben der Straße, mit ein paar japanischen Restaurants in der Gegend und auch Burger King und Jollibee sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist freundlich und lässt einen eine Stunde früher einchecken, ist aber beim Auschecken sehr streng. Ich bat darum, mein Zimmer zu reinigen, während ich früher weg war, aber als ich gegen 11.30 Uhr zurückkam, war es immer noch nicht sauber und sie kamen schon gegen 14.00 Uhr. Ich war im Zimmer und ruhte mich aus, also ließen sie sie einfach nicht rein. Das Bett ist gut, das Kissen ist fest und weich, die Decke dick. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert irgendwie, ich hörte Wasser von oben tropfen, ich denke, es kommt aus dem Abfluss der anderen Klimaanlage. Hoher Wasserdruck, es gab heißes Wasser, es dauert nur eine Weile, bis es heiß wird. Hatte ein Bett und einen Wasserkocher.

Biggest downside is AC unit is mounted on the wall, inside the room that makes very loud noise , maybe a portable or ceiling fan could help air circulation without the need of AC at night.  Close to the airport which is a plus. Very basic and simple facility; no toiletries , no daily room cleaning is needed , no bottle water , however there was a water dispenser if you have your own bottle. Property does offered a monthly rental at a very reasonably rate. Replacing the AC unit is something management should consider.

It's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.
